■ Okay this font is better. You sent a report that you claim supports your argument that deregulation has not started, then you are now contending with the same publication as if I was the one that presented it.

The report itself does not state that deregulation has been implemented even though it attempts to put forward the opinion that the rise in the cost of fuel and living should be blamed on deregulation. Note that it was not written by me but by Nigerian media houses which are notoriously known for trash-riddled ideas meant to skew the facts presented within in favor of their paymasters.

My main reason is to find out from you where you get this fact that deregulation has indeed been implemented against the reality on the ground in Nigeria.

Fuel Prices surged after the subsidy was removed yet Nigeria is expected to pay well over Naira 5.6 Trillion in Fuel Subsidies by the end of December 2024.
▶ How come the removed subsidy continues to cost Nigeria even more than before the announcement was made?
▶ Are you certain this was all a result of deregulation as claimed by the writer of that report?
▶ Why is Nigeria losing money instead of saving money if the fuel subsidy has been removed?
▶ Why is NNPCL still regulating the price of Fuel in Nigeria if deregulation has occurred?
▶ Why is the country in talks with Dangote as we speak to provide it with crude oil at a subsidized cost — fuel subsidies will now be paid maybe entirely to Dangote — if deregulation has happened?
▶ The article attempts to blame the rise in the cost of fuel and cost of living on the deregulation of petroleum but none of the facts point to this being in fact to blame now, does it?

Does that there tell you that the Government has in fact implemented deregulation for you to claim deregulation as a fact in Nigeria though? For instance, are marketers currently purchasing petrol directly from the refineries as we speak?

Matters like this are not hard. Since petrol is now deregulated, you are free to claim any figure you like.
If you claim that you sold 50 million litres per day, no wahala, when time for account reach, you must show income that is commensurate with the 50 million litres per day.
Incase their calculator don spoil, let me help them calculate it down. So we will be expecting them to show "Receivables" of 50,000,000 x 1070 = 53,500,000,000 naira per day.
I believe that is 53,5 billion naira income per day.

When did this deregulation in fact happen? The government is still in talks on when and how to implement deregulation but una don already conclude say petrol done dey deregulated... how come?

Dentists are a dime a dozen here and you can simply walk into a dentist's office even at the department store on your way to pick up a dress or shoe. The service, as of the last time I was there cost only $75 and that took clear of both X-ray and cleaning(bi-annual).

Nobody, I know goes to Nigeria to get a tooth removed! Why would any sane person think to travel back to Nigeria— pay $100s in flight costs— just to go get a tooth pulled unless the person is fishing for an insane bargain of some sort?

2. Arrests are NOT NORMALLY made based on claims but on evidence of investigations. Read the Police Act 2020 for details on when an arrest can or cannot be made for more information.

3. Again, nothing of what you claim is NORMAL because arrests are instead meant to be made only on grounds of evidence and not accusations.
