id911:Do you know what federalism entails yourself? Because your initial claim which I pointed out is flawed reveals you are instead one of those ignorant of what federalism is in fact about. ![]() |
Saintzykie:Ok ![]() |
Saintzykie:Can you go back through your post to be sure you have it all worded correctly? I am having a really hard time understanding what you are asking altogether. ![]() |
money121:More importantly, as far back as that time you could get a receipt for your purchase. Nigeria made sense until it stopped making sense and this mostly happened during IBB's Shege period. ![]() |
id911:What you stated here makes no sense as in a federal system, the FG instead has jurisdiction over all citizens including those of them who occupy offices in government. ![]() The way Nigerians rush to adopt misinformation even in this information age that we live in is very disturbing. ![]() |
MEEVEET:The Nigeria you have today began the moment that the 1999 democratic Constitution was enacted, I am afraid. Yes, All previous agencies were subsumed based on that defined in the Constitution itself or laws enacted by the National Assembly. It is hard to imagine yes, but it is what it is. The reformed Police have in place many of the hierarchies of old still. However, this does not mean that the police are exactly the same as that existed before the 1999 Constitution became the Supreme Law of the land. ![]() For instance, you cannot say that because Nigeria existed before 1999, you should go back to 1960 to find laws to apply today. No, you first find more recent laws that apply before you go looking for old laws in the case that no recent laws have been enacted in the particular area of concern. ![]() |
MEEVEET:All agencies created by the National Assembly as Federal/National agencies if we are to follow the definition you gave earlier though. So you need to be more specific as far as this difference you pretend you can make between them. ![]() |
MEEVEET:The National Assembly is defined in the Constitution so you cannot create a second or a third National Assembly without first amending or better still overhauling the entire Constitution itself. ![]() 2. We are not talking here or agencies that were established by the Constitution but rather of agencies/policies that were established by way of acts created by the National Assembly and signed into Law by the President. So, try to pay attention to your use of terms. ![]() |
MEEVEET:I don't understand what you mean at all. ![]() Acts are used in creating or reforming governmental organizations/agencies/policies. Created entities can be amended or reformed. Each has to be signed into law to take effect. The Acts I listed earlier are all signed into law and so we have them today as the foundation on which the agencies each operate. ![]() |
MEEVEET:The Nigerian Police Force(which includes EFCC, DSS, Customs, Border Control, etc.) currently operates according to the Police Act 2020. ![]() 2. You have to explain what you mean. What do you mean when you say FRSC lost to Lagos? ![]() |
MEEVEET:You should take time to review these things for yourself so you understand that all of the agencies that make up your government both at the National, state and local levels are actually enacted via acts. ![]() NAFDAC ACT Cap N.1 LFN 2004 Police Act 2020 EFCC Act 2002(Amended in 2004) Federal Inland Revenue Service (ESTABLISHMENT) Act, 2007 Customs, Excise Tariff, Etc. (Consolidation) Act ... Stop feeding on the gobbledegook fed to the public by propagandists in Nigeria who only play tunes to suit the narrative of their particular paymasters. ![]() |
MEEVEET:Every single one of those agencies in bold were created by Acts as well. So, can you be more specific regarding the difference between National agencies and Federal Agencies. ![]() |
MEEVEET:Where do you get this statement that EFCC is a federal agency and not a national agency from? I mean what is the difference between the two ideas you expressed? ![]() |
MEEVEET:Just imagine! This case should have been thrown out in a sane country but the more you consider the Judiciary in Nigeria, the more you understand why the country is in fact in shambles. ![]() |
GreatAchiever1:Christians and their confusion abounds!🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 1. First, this isn't about reading a book but about living/following ideas. Second, the book you call your Bible IS NOT God's Word — the various authors in the many books, including the Gospels, made this clear actually. The Word of God is instead the Word out of God's very own Mouth... Jesus Christ Himself is recorded to have said this — this is written in the Gospels. What comes out of the Mouth of God is not this book that was written by the hands of humans in human-fashioned language with paper, ink, and glue made by human hands to be comprehended by human thought. ![]() Third, Jesus Christ of Israel warned His followers not to have one foot in the Old Law and the other foot in the new Law as it would lead one to a disastrous end, He said. But you Christians live against Jesus Christ and so cannot be expected to accept this, right? 😂😂😂😂😂 2. Everything you wrote has no logical connection to the Scriptures. ![]() |
Gadafii:engage your brain for once! ![]() |
@Raccoon, I finally got block of the event in the following video. If you wish to skip through most of the interview, you can go straight to start from 17:26 to listen again to what Jamie Dimon said about investors and investment in Subsaharan Africa. Investors behind those World Bank loans want assurance that their money will be paid back over time. ![]() https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXHSNslOL_U |
tofolo:No such thing! That man does not look like someone who spent time in a regular Nigerian prison. ![]() |
viqSmallz:Una no tire to chop charisma abeg? ![]() Why in the world any sane people elect a convicted criminal into office to rule over them? Are you people ok at all? You see clearly what all the others you have elected this far have done to your lives and futures yet you would continue the same stewpid traditions? Would you also hire a former ped3ofile to babysit your children ? ![]() |
He go jail abi weight loss camp? ![]() |
Racoon:Nigeria has good enough credit rating so why should the World Bank not loan it money? ![]() Here, have a listen to what Jaime Dimon of JP Morgan Chase — one of the investors that supplies the funds for the loans Nigeria gets from the World Bank — had to say about how investors invest their money. Listen between 1:37:07 — 1:39:07 of the following video. https://www.youtube.com/live/YibCmv8g3kU?si=_Y_Jd_94KSDwYnaK I could not find the video itself but I found the snippet embedded in the above video. By the way, JP Morgan Chase is one of the investors behind the loans countries can obtain from the World Bank & IMF. There are consumers/investors — not Father Christmas —behind those loans and they too want to be sure they will get their money back in every case. ![]() |
Pbatmedia:Nigerians made a certified fraudster their president and this is the result. All he has to offer are lies and yet more lies. Are the people really not sick of this? ![]() |
Has anyone been able to confirm this news? Where are the Kwara residents on Nairaland naw! ![]() |
bixton:Yet this is the same World Bank that Obasanjo used to help Nigeria save billions in the early years of its democracy? ![]() Anyways, Here, have a listen to what Jaime Dimon of JP Morgan Chase — one of the investors that supplies the funds for the loans Nigeria gets from the World Bank — had to say about how investors invest their money. richmond500:Liar... go hug your paymasters abeg! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
richmond500:See this one who can't even keep up with his lies. Earlier you claimed that you meant the implementation of policies but to date no news outlet has reported on the implementation of any of the policies you yourself have lied about. See yourself! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 See this lying ninny...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
wirinet:The fact that no other local companies produce the same product meaning there is no local competition is an even greater argument against this attempt by Dangote as this is all about one producer — one man in a nation of over 220 million Nigerians. ![]() |
richmond500:You mean the propaganda machines of your paymasters, right? Anyone who reads Nigeria's news would quickly note that the reports are not all the same on any one issue and if you do additional research of your own... use FOI where possible... you would quickly identify the lies. 😁😁😁😁 2. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Whatsapp groups? I don't belong to any crazy WhatsApp group... better disconnect yourself from all of that brain damage yourself.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
richmond500:You are lying and you know it! 🤔 This current government has yet to implement over 99.99% of the many policies it has signed into law yet you have been jumping from thread to thread claiming it has and they are successes. No be lying dem dey call that kain behavior? ![]() |
richmond500:Correction.... only the successful IMPLEMENTATION of good policies... not good policies alone... will revert the direction of things in the country. ![]() No nation in the world has been able to positively impact the lives of its people by way of AUDIO Policies — policies not followed up with successful implementation. ![]() |
sulaak:There is nothing wrong with importing fuel. It happens in most countries including European ones were Dangote claims he sends his products. They import, so why can't Nigeria import as well? What Nigeria needs is to push to open up non-oil industries. It's severe dependence on oil alone is what remains the issue even after over 40 years of realizing this. ![]() Handing Dangote a monopoly will not help Nigeria in any way. It is only going to help Dangote's bottom line and this is to the detriment of the Nigerian people and market. ![]() |
Eteka1:It is these bullsheet excuses you lot give that need to stop abeg! 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄 |
