alphaNomega: ∆ to be fair to Fubara, he would have called WIke out at the time but could not because of his status then as a governor. Now Fubara is the governor, you can see he did not totally agree with wike's shenanigans during his time at the state house. ∆ Time will tell, I want everyone to see the close of the matter 1. Nonsense! He had access to incriminating evidence on a sitting governor, evidence that could have easily gotten him impeached or at least close to it but never used it. Instead he helped the same steal over a trillion from the people and then settled for having some of the same money he used to get him a seat as a governor. Make una stop these ridiculous nonsense claims abeg...it nakes you lot seriously seem like a bunch of imbeciles. 2. Time will not make this man a saint. You guys make it seem like Fubara could have said No. And you will also not question his use of the same stolen funds, which he could not have stolen without your help, in installing you as governor and his stooge, right? 7upnigeria: ■ Until he starts feeding you and your entire family before you know he cares about Nigerians. He's the biggest EMPLOYER OF LABOUR IN NIGERIA. ■ Ending poverty is not about dashing people money but about CREATING EMPLOYMENT. Dangote used his personal money to construct part of the Oshodi-Apapa expressway. Go and read about his various donations in different parts of Nigeria whether during Ramadan or at other times. BIggest employer who employers all the people under him to make him profit. Are you saying we should hand the entirety of Nigeria over to him in order to further benefit him as well? I don't follow the reasoning of the lot of you in this. 2. Ending poverty takes more than just giving jobs to people, I am afraid! There is a need for serious infrastructural development and serious investment needed in the educational sector. Giving people jobs(paying them slave wages as is the case today) is not a way to solve poverty at all. |

If Not Dangote, The Next Businessman is Also Like Dangote & the next Businessmen to the next Businessmen is also like Dangote ....All of us are like Dangote na Opportunities we are yet to Get Are we trying here to turn Nigeria into his business as well? I don't understand how you folks reason. The other one is attempting to argue that since Dangote's Company hires approximately 29,000 people to profit for him, we should hand Nigeria over— the lives of over 200,000,000— so Nigeria can also make him more profit. 🤔 |

budaatum: ■ Like the person eating with a long spoon is part of the problem the devil they eat with is? I don't agree. Nigeria gave him lemons like it gives us all, just that he is smart enough to make lemonade while everyone else wails. The man is notorious for pushing for policies that benefit him and him alone in a country where there are over 220 million other people. Putting such a man in charge of economic decisions in that same country amounts to making him a greater king than he already is while nothing will change for others; this man has not helped change the lives of other Nigerians for the better the numerous other times he has engaged the government. |

naptu2: ■I told you a long time ago that you don't seem to be serious. You like arguing just for the sake of arguing when you know that you are not making any sense. Chaplaincy services are not there just for the sake of having chaplaincy services. They are there for the needs of the officers and men. Have you heard of any officer or other rank that demanded for it and did not get it. Join the military and demand for it if you want it. If you cannot understand something as simple as that, then I can't help you. I am not interested in wasting my time and exchanging meaningless arguments. Goodbye.

Are yu for real... I didn't see any of that stated in the OP. He said, “We are in a state of war. As it is when you are involved in counter terrorism, counter insurgency across the country, in such situation, ugly things happen from time to time. What has happened in Gwoza is one of those terrible things. Whenever people are killed whether civilians or security personnel, it is a tragedy. However, our operations are going according to plan”. He disclosed that those asking question as to why the Nigerian Army is planning to establish a school of Islamic Affairs are missing the point as the Army also have in place, a school of Chaplaincy for Christians. “Being in the military does not make us not to be religiously inclined. Why should they have that and not have schools to train priests for Amadioha, Sango, Ogun, etc., including allah as well? Either build for all of the gods or build for none abeg! naptu2: The Nigerian Armed Forces offers chaplaincy services to its officers, men and women. The job of the chaplain is to minister to the spiritual needs of the soldiers. Examples of famous chaplains are Reverend Monsignor Colonel Ayodele Pedro-Martins and Anthony Cardinal Okogie, who served as a chaplain during the Civil War. The chaplaincy services in the Nigerian Armed Forces are divided into the Islamic, Roman Catholic and Protestant chaplaincy services. There are schools that train the pastors, priests and imams that serve as chaplains in the armed forces. Picture 1) Nigerian Army Chaplaincy Training School (Roman Catholic), Ojo, Lagos. Why should they have that and not have schools to train priests for Amadioha, Sango, Ogun, etc., including allah? Either build for all of the gods or build for none abeg! MasterJayJay: Major General Buba said that the incident of the recent suicide bombings in Gwoza resulting in the killing of innocent citizens and military personnel, “is what happens at the ending circle of terrorism. It is aimed attracting attention. It is aimed at regaining relevance. It is aimed at trying to recruit new members and it is aimed at reducing support for the troops and security agencies”. We are Nigerians and if you are to respect Christianity and Islam, then equally make certain to respect all other local religions as well. I see absolutely no reason why the army needs a school of chaplaincy or an Islamic version. This is a bloody waste of the people's money for Pete's sake! |
