Nigerians have been there and done that.

Kenyans did not get promises; what they got were results. Those of them who died did not die in vain and the ones who were kidnapped are being returned home as we speak. The people are working on their next demand as we speak.

Nigerians did EndSars but Nigerians gave up before they got result. They caved and accepted mere promises rather than results. As expected, those who died never got justice and those who were unjustly imprisoned remain locked up many years later. Why? Because Nigerians never really made up their mind to see an end to the problems. They simply went out to play and ran away when the heat got turned up by the very one's they said they went after.

The best thing Nigerians abroad can do for Nigerians in Nigeria is to cut off that lifeline that has kept the people suffering and smiling even going as far as celebrating the criminals they have in office. A year without that yearly $17 Billion remittance will not only cause the people to begin to see red, their eyes bleed blood, but maybe finally force them to rise up and do the needful.

1. If you have to borrow in order to pay your workers a living wage then you should strongly consider the business of no real worth to you or anyone.

2. Again,it should not matter what the parents are able to pay or not able to pay. If you have to have employees, you should be able to pay them a living wage above slave wages otherwise you should shut the business down. Simple!

3. Again, it does not matter whether parents can pay or not. All businesses unable to pay a decent wage to their employees should be denied their business licenses. Simple!

That has nothing to do with this at all. The amount workers ought to be paid for their services should not depend on how much poor people living large in poverty --- having children beyond their means-- can afford to pay for the education of same kids. Anyone wanting to go into business and have employees should be able to guarantee them non-slave wages.

You may not need it but over 100 million Nigerians working for slave wages in Nigeria need it. $130 a month injected into the Nigerian economy by those millions of people will go a long way in rebuilding the economy than the many billions your thieving politicians loot only to then store outside of Nigeria and its economy each year. Labor does not work for only those who are well to do but for those who are at the bottom as well.

Do a google search of companies that left Nigeria in 2023 and in 2024. On that list you will find many of the very same manufacturing companies who will now be able to produce their same goods outside of Nigeria and flood Nigerian markets with pharmaceutical products at zero tax

More than 10 major companies left in 2023, notably
▶ Unilever Nigeria PLC, Procter & Gamble Nigeria,
▶ GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Nigeria Ltd,
▶ ShopRite Nigeria,
▶ Sanofi-Aventis Nigeria Ltd,
▶ Equinox Nigeria
▶ Bolt Food & Jumia Food Nigeria.

These companies fired their Nigerian workers, so Nigerian workers lost out here. The same companies now produce the very same products outside of Nigeria's borders and are to pay zero Vat when they import them into Nigeria. Are you certain the Nigerian people and economy gain anything from all of this?
