sunsweet33:Aren't you the same one who reasoned earlier that a curse may have been involved? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 abdsamad:Didn't you read well at all? ![]() |
Pitssbull:Yet many expect exactly that from others. Imagine that! ![]() |
aktolly54:There are women out there looking for men with the same set of qualities posted by the OP and they too experience a very difficult time finding their specs met. ![]() |
Odewaleadesoye:The reasons are the same for why it is equally difficult for women to find men who meet the same criteria. And yes, some women seek men with the same qualities. ![]() |
Krankhead:Again, Harvesting, processing, transportation, market costs.... all are paid for with money and not stones? Or do you think people in the village don't deserve to be paid for their time and effort? This time, engage your brain when responding! ![]() |
1000Capacity:Is there some sort of Law against having of those in third world countries? ![]() |
olaremint:Just so you know, not every state is reported to have received 80,000 bags of rice from Dangote in the last 4 weeks. So let's ask sensible questions here. ![]() |
Prince500:Not everyone here on Nairaland is a political tout or a political sheeple! ![]() |
Prince500:A good country ought to have a good foodbank system in place abeg! I agree with you that this here is more a political show where it seems those who show up with be bought with the food but a fully functioning FoodBank system, removed from all of the politics and deceit is necessary. ![]() |
IAmHim1:1. Stop jumping all over the place, please! Exactly what leads you to believe that the Scripture is incomplete? Let's start there. ![]() 2. The Vatican never wrote a word of Scripture! It simply made attempts to manipulate access to the various books out there. So, let's not get things tangled up. Now the World is not only aware of that but also has access to all the books that were once withheld, so let's go back to your first claim. Why are you under the impression that Scripture is incomplete? ![]() 3. First of all, I am not a Christian so pretending you have me figured out as one is your first mistake. Second, ff you had ever in fact read Scripture for what it contains, you would have figured out long ago that Religion — Christianity, Judaism, Islam, etc., — are ideas that have no place in Scripture. The God of Israel made it abundantly clear from His Prophets that those who cling to the religion of men, refusing to abide by His Law as a result, are against Him. So, leave religion where it belongs, in the trash, and focus on answering the main question which again is why do you believe that Scripture is incomplete? ![]() 4. All this, I am afraid are ramblings and nothing more. Books in today's world are mostly free. Only those afraid of paper and glue make up silly excuses for why they should choose ignorance over knowledge contained. Again, if you had ever read the words of Jesus Christ for yourself, you would have long discovered that almost 2000 years ago, Jesus Christ warned His followers not to give that which is Holy — The Truth of the Kingdom of God — to the dogs and those whom He referred to as dogs are Non-Israelites. ![]() Your Vaticans are made up of non-Israelites for the most part, right? That means that have no part in the equation that is Jesus Christ, even though by way of their religion they assert the opposite— Lies. So, leave them in their ignorance and arrogance and focus instead on the main here which is explaining how exactly you came to conclude that Scripture is incomplete. ![]() |
Mightymanna:Did you ever actually read Deuteronomy 18 vs 18 for yourself? Or did you simply swallow up someone's interpretation just so you could remain blind to the facts of what is written there? If you pay attention, it says right there that the prophet will come from among the brethren of the People — the Israelites. 18 I will send them a prophet like you. This prophet will be one of their people. I will tell him what he must say, and he will tell the people everything I command.▶ The Holy Spirit of God is NOT a Prophet: The Holy Spirit of God is a Spirit, not a brethren(a human) and not an Israelite meaning He, the Holy Spirit of God, cannot be a Prophet. God's very Law disqualifies Him, the Spirit of God, from being regarded as a Prophet. ![]() ▶ Mohammed, by the criteria contained in Deuteronomy 18 vs 18 is equally disqualified from Prophetship: Mohammed was not an Israelite, so He could never have qualified as a Prophet of the God of Israel. And as such, the God of Israel could never have sent Him. ![]() Add to that the fact that the God of Isreal placed a seal of completion on all Prophets and visions of His Old Law of Moses at the end of HIs Last Days - Daniel 9 vs 24 - which took place during the same generation that Jesus Christ was a part of, about 500 years before Mohammed showed up claiming to be connected to the God of Israel, and you have that Mohammed's biggest was claiming a connection to the Israelites without doing his research well. ![]() 3. It's OK to keep to your Quran. But the moment you attempt to connect it to the Scripture, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob — YHWH—, all the stories begin to quickly fall to pieces because none of what is contained in the Quran is supported by Scripture or the God of Israel. ![]()

IAmHim1:1. There is no evidence or backing for the claim that Mohammed was sent by the God of Israel — YHWH. Why? Because the God of Israel stipulated in His Law that ▶ Israel would be His only inheritance in the Land of men meaning that Israel is His only chosen people. ▶ The God of Israel committed Himself to sending Prophets to the people of Israel in response to their direct request for prophets from among their brethren. (All prophets had to be born of the blood of Jacob.) ▶ The God of Israel committed Himself to send Prophets who would serve as emissaries on behalf of His people, Israel to the Nations. ▶ The God of Israel promised that the Davidic Covenant He made with David would herald the end and final Judgment of His against Israel(including Judah) and all the Nations that surrounded them. Through His many Prophets, including David, He announced that when He sends His Last Prophet, that would also signal the final days aka EndTime. Mohammed was not an israelite and he arrived more than 500 years after the Endtime of God of Israel. He never qualified under the Law set by the God of Israel as a prophet and he never did embody any of that which was expected. ![]() 2. This is untrue or a self-delusion. The famous "Love your neighbor" commandment has always been a part of the Law of Moses, where it remains to this day. Jesus Christ quoted it in response to a question asked of Him by the Pharisees DOES NOT mean Jesus Christ is the one who first said it. 18 Forget about the wrong things people do to you. Don’t try to get even. Love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord. - Leviticus 19 vs 18And no, not all the prophets preached that at all, so don't make statements that you have no understanding of. ![]() 3. Then clearly, you don't care for what God of Israel has to say, do you? But do you think it is your place to assert your opinion over God's very own Law? ![]() 4. Sadly, there is absolutely no truth to this claim of yours! There are over 40,000 gods/deities out there. To suggest they are all the same is human hubris and nothing more. ![]() If I walked into a room of 20 different people. Common sense would inform me right from the entrance not to make the mistake of assuming all 20 individuals in the room are the same — same speech patterns, same likes and dislikes, same, temperaments/dispositions, etc. — I would only make a fool of myself if I decided to see them all as the same and treat them all exactly to my very own choosing. Why then would any rational being out there think it would make sense to lump all deities together and consider them all the same? ![]() |
BeatriceChide:1. Jesus Christ whose Gospels — almost 2000 years old teachings and commandments — that comprise God's Law do not include any instructions instructing any of His followers to pay tithe to anyone. He said those of His followers who love Him are those of them who obey His instructions — His teachings and commandments alone. This means the following ▶ when you obey commandments or instructions that are not part of the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ, you do not do so out of love for Jesus Christ or His Father at all. ▶ when you use the name of Jesus Christ or His Father to obey instructions that are not part of the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ you sin against God. ![]() The only reason you pay tithe which is an instruction that comes, not from Jesus Christ but from your pastors, and you do so using the name of God and of Jesus Christ(again but of whom never asked you to do so in their name) is because you are not of Jesus Christ, and certainly not of His Father. ![]() |
deji17:Carry this meaningless yammering of yours comot for road make people with brain talk! ![]() |
BucketHat:The keyword here is had. The country can no longer afford to ignore the millions who are hungry and in need. Sadly, this has to happen now. ![]() |
cococandy:🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Silly moderator deleted my post where I told that same commenter to find his way back to the asylum where he crawled out of. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

deji17:But this isn't the way the social safety networks are designed in those countries, is it, complete with red carpets and cameras as though a political event? ![]() If you want to compare, do so in a meaningful manner. Social programs aren't political avenues but programs designed to provide a safety net for the people which this does not look at all like. ![]() Anyways, hopefully, over the next couple of weeks, we expect the individual state governments to help organize and ensure such programs in fact thrive and they completely do away with these seeming political shows to use the poor as though jokes. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbaHnfATjH0?si=Nm0H_AgNGMqofD4x Vice-President Kashim Shettima says President Bola Tinubu has approved that 20 per cent of palliatives, in terms of food intervention, be routed through religious and traditional institutions. |
ElSudani:Abeg get away! ![]() |
ElSudani:So, you can't answer the questions yet you came back to attack me in ignorance even after claiming you agreed with me? Newsflash! A Foodbank is a "Palliative" program. There is no difference. Does that help you sort out your confusion now? Or do you still feel you need to ram blindly forward like some sort of attack dog? ![]() |
BucketHat:I doubt it as it was reported that about 4 weeks ago Dangote donated about 80,000 bags of rice to the state. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ANzhxLiuOXM?si=sAmvNfb3vjf_clOh |
ElSudani:First question, do you know what a food bank is? Second, do you know what a palliative program is? I need to ask because your response is all muddled up. Cause there is no way you would understand the meaning of those two things, agree with me, and still come back with the rest of the brain-dead retort. ![]() |
delpee:Rubbish! I don't need to know your personal life history to understand God's commandments and teachings which were given by Jesus Christ almost 2000 years ago. I called you out based on just that. ![]() |
Bukfab:How many submissive wives would dare utter those words to their husbands? Na submit till the death dem dey oo! ![]() |
Kelechi009:Something make you no include Nigerian men for that list though. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 |
newoffer:Don't knock free food for those who cannot afford it! No one should go to bed hungry in any nation on this planet! ![]() That said, using hungry people for what is a political show complete with red carpets and cameras is what I find ridiculous. If na food bank system dem won build, make dem just do so. This here looks so much like extending the usual political exercise that politicians are notorious for to an all-year program, ahead of the next election. ![]() |
Kay25:Be real! This isn't the first time I have read of Lagos doing something like this. Why it has to be a red carpet, obviously political event each time is what is irritating in all of this. ![]() If na food bank dem won set up, then go for it. All these shows for the camera, using hungry people for obvious political shows and games is offensive. ![]() |
udomonday:Stop that nonsense abeg! It is not the people's fault that their stomachs are being used to play politics by those they elected. Every sound country ought to have a working Food Bank system removed from all of the politics out there. But this one seems organized for political clout with all of the red carpets and cameras to capture the faces of the people. ![]() |
azadus18:It was a nice initiative the very first time, now this is just ridiculous. If na food pantry system dem won organize then they need to stop making it a political event and start organizing it away from all the lights and red carpets. ![]() |
Bukfab:Your own better then. Many of the discussions wey I don read dey talk say a real woman ought to born via natural especially if it is her first birth. ![]() |
ElSudani:A foodbank ought to be a permanent system in any developed economy. However, this here is far from what a food bank system ought to be. It looks more like a political tool to use in buying the less privileged. ![]() |
chopnaira:In advanced economies, foodbanks are not used in this manner abeg! It is not a political game at food banks and the less privileged are not used for jokes in this way. ![]() If a particular politician wants to do a giveaway somewhere, he can organize it and do it for himself and his people, not but at the food bank abeg! ![]() |
Bukfab:At least you had your first baby the normal way so your other women folk would be more understanding. This was likely this woman's first try at having a baby and she probably had to have it the natural way and not the other way. ![]() |
