myforty68: The simple logic is that in the past, people were not sure that children will survive so that had many children for example you have six children hoping that three will survive. When there is an assurance that all children you have will survive people who will have fewer children. The single most important predictor of children survive is female education. Improve that and the world population will stabilize It is already happening in much of the developed world. All these Japa stories from Nigeria are thanks to the reduced population in developed countries were improved Health Care is playing a role in keeping people from having so many kids. But Nigerians don't try to reason this at all. |

bigfoot79: For disclosures, I am a member of Christ Embassy. My take is that I'd rather go with the alleged conspiracy and ignore/avoid the vaccine totally, I, mean malaria is part of our lives and we are living with it successfully. This is as opposed to going with the Reporters who have no scientific or spiritual backing for their stance on the vaccine. Top of that these are media houses that are pushing the #lgbtqi agenda and sees nothing wrong I'm the events happening in Gaza The point is, I'd rather : continue treating malaria with Agbo (African concoction) than taking their vaccine. Stick with a man+woman order of marriage than have rainbow marriages. And Have a level of peaceful coexistence in the middle east I wish your parents had made this decision for you when you were a child as well. Kaycee54321: ■ Saw it as sex being the cheapest form of entertainment for most poor people...not necessarily because they want to have more kids so some won't die due to ill health. ■ The worst I've imagined is birthing many kids so incase some are useless, some will "lift the family". And poor na relative term sha - most of us here are quite poor but let's not go into the semantics... 1. Since the time of our ancestors who even went as far as to have many wives to ensure they had as many as possible, it was never about sex at all. I recall my mother telling me that her mother, who was a second wife mind you, had 8 kids and only 2 of them survived. It was mostly about survivability and not sex. Terrible healthcare means many will likely die off before adulthood. 2. There is also that. Many of the poor who breed like rats are aware that if all the children survive they would probably not be able to take care of them all, so many of them end up sending some of them out into slavery, etc. |

dexmond: ■ The introduction of Vaccines is supposed to improve health, thus, increasing the the world population. However, Mr Gates assertion was that when the Vaccines are introduced, that the world population will reduce by 10 or 15% is ominous. His theory that when health improves, families will choose to have less kids is not true. Common sense will tteach us that if health of society is bad, their population will go down and vice versa. There is little evidence that improving health leads to increase in world population. Look around you at the developed world for examples. Many of them are struggling to keep their population numbers up even with the many improvements in their healthcare systems. Look at places like Sweden, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, South Korea, and Japan, for examples of the reality of things. |

Kaycee54321: ■ Regardless of any misgivings about the rather strange takes by the preacher, the bolded doesn't make any sense. ... BoldBrainz: Not an ounce of sense, no matter how you look at it. It does if you in fact reason it. People used to have many kids because they were not sure which of them would survive sickness and other issues. With better healthcare, you find that people are less inclined to have more kids as the survivability of the few they have is greatly improved, and so they can focus more on living their own lives even as they raise the few kids they have. This has been observed in much of the developed world. Look at places like Sweden, South Korea, Japan, etc. |

thrillionaire: ■ You lie! That's your opinion. The Bible says in 2Cor5:17 that if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation. Any man! But just of the stock of Israel as you erroneously opined. Like I said, depression can come but it should have a hold on you. Besides, Jesus is our perfect model and he never suffered depression, he might have felt it but it didn't have a hold on him. 2. You confused athiest or whatever you are, are known here in nairaland as the chief argument president. So chill with your self righteousness. 3. You're not the custodian of knowledge and wisdom. You don't even understand the Bible you try to quote. You can not want your opinions to be the chief in every matter. REST. 1. So what you are trying to say is that when Jesus Christ said His Word is Everlasting — Unchanging — He lied since according to you Paul somehow found a way to change the declarations of God Himself. All this still points to your claims still being at variance with that spoken by the God of Israel and His Son, Jesus Christ, whom you pretend to serve. 2. Self-righteousness? That term describes you instead, not me. 3. I never said I am custodian of anything. I am simply stating here that your opinions are clearly at variance with even that of the God of Israel and His Son, Jesus Christ, proof that litters most of your comments thus far. |

Count it all Joy when faced with diverse trials. Refuse to focus on the darkness of depression. ■ I agree with Andrew Tate and insist that depression isn't an ailment, depression can try me but can't hold me as I can not be depressed. Which God has come to dwell with which man? 2. Have you ever in fact researched the symptoms of depression of depression at all? Or do you simply think it is Ok to make assumptions regarding it? 3. thrillionaire: For you can do nothing for or against the Truth and this is the Truth of the matter. It's not motivation. Gratitude remains the extinguisher of depression. You don't get to manufacture Truth as you feel like it. It either exists outside of your mind or it is balderdash! Let's get that straight! There is no evidence out that that what you refer to as gratitude impacts depression, either the emotion or the disease. If you at least understood the individual symptoms of the illness, you would realize for your self why it can't be as you claim. |

StillDtruth: ■ If it truly failed a test, you would have pointed it out. Rather, your logic was not even worthy of examination because, it was off Point. The topic is not "TRUE + FALSE=?" But whether the bible is The Word of God! ■ So you were committing a fallacy as logic 101 says! Tor! The only one who has been committing a fallacy to this point is you with your many attempts to convince me that a contradiction is logical in this sense. The Word of God is True meaning that God is without any lies. Your Bible, however, contains many lies, including lies that are born of the mistakes of men, and all lies belong to the devil. Yes, the book equally contains the Truth of God but the Lies cannot be ignored. So, when you declare that your Bible is the Word of God, what you are saying is that all the Lies contained inside the Book resolve to God's Truth, and that is akin to saying God is a God of contradictions. Rather, what is written inside of several of the books contained in your Bible which is merely a compendium of books is instead the fact that the one who holds the Title that is Word of God, the one who became flesh and blood, is Jesus Christ. So, either your Bible is the Word of God and your God is nothing but a ball of contradictions or Jesus Christ is the Word of God as stated right there in many of the books. Which one will it be for you? |

Jashub: The wife. Simple Nonsense! Snoring is often associated with a sleep disorder called obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Not all snorers have OSA, but if snoring is accompanied by any of the following symptoms, it may be an indication to see a doctor for further evaluation for OSA: ▶ Witnessed breathing pauses during sleep ▶ Excessive daytime sleepiness ▶ Difficulty concentrating ▶ Morning headaches ▶ Sore throat upon awakening ▶ Restless sleep ▶ Gasping or choking at night ▶ High blood pressure ▶ Chest pain at night ▶ Your snoring is so loud it's disrupting your partner's sleep ▶ In children, poor attention span, behavioral issues or poor performance in school OSA often is characterized by loud snoring followed by periods of silence when breathing stops or nearly stops. Eventually, this reduction or pause in breathing may signal you to wake up, and you may awaken with a loud snort or gasping sound.
You may sleep lightly due to disrupted sleep. This pattern of breathing pauses may be repeated many times during the night. People with obstructive sleep apnea usually experience periods when breathing slows or stops at least five times during every hour of sleep.https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/snoring/symptoms-causes/syc-20377694 Person wey write the post must have meant it for malicious purposes as that would explain why he/she conveniently refused to mention what it was the man was diagnosed with by his doctors who performed the surgery. |
