lawani:Why must His teachings add to human civilization? As He Himself said, He is only worth following for those who qualifyto follow Him -- He is of no use or real value to those who do not qualify to have Him. ![]() |
NOETHNICITY:Abeg , stop spitting out bull sheet in my direction! ![]() |
Testiebobo:Did you bother to communicate the part in bold to your brother before he called you up? Or did you think it OK to ghost him and then not expect him to be furious with you for it? ![]() |
GoodSpirit:Yet, the vast majority of Nigerian men seem to end up with exactly the kind of women you describe, how come? ![]() |
Draslo:I have never been a hard-core Christian, neither have I ever been a strong feminist. I am simply a follower of Jesus Christ. The confusion you have of my person is yours, not mine. ![]() |
Takara:That's because you never had real motivation. Go ask kids who started fasting in their teaching years and they will tell you the same thing. You writing an epistle at age 23, saying religion is the only motivation you ever had makes you look like a joke. Go ask those kids who started modeling at age 14 or older, or even those who had to lose about 40 lbs to fit into their prom dresses and they will tell you real stories. ![]() |
For those who are under some sort of delusion that wives and children have special meaning in the Kingdom of God, Jesus Christ Himself declared the following: A. God's special blessing/permission is given only to those who would choose to live as Eunuchs for the sake of the Kingdom of God. 10 The disciples said to him, “If such is the case of a man with his wife, it is better not to marry.”B. Women who choose to live as Eunuchs — Childless— for the sake of the Kingdom of God are the ones who have God's blessings; women who have children are told to cry for themselves and their children's sake. 27 A large crowd followed Jesus. Some of the women were sad and crying. They felt sorry for him.C. Your marriages are of this world of men and not of the Kingdom of God 34 [size=12pt]Jesus said to the Sadducees, “On earth, people marry each other. For those completely without eyes, Jesus Christ made it clear that His followers are in this world but are NOT of the world. ![]() |
Recall that Jesus Christ told you to remember Lot's wife. If you remember well, Lot's wife was saved from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. However, She refused to stand faithful until the end— she disobeyed the other commandments given to them by the same angels. She was turned into a pillar of salt, a punishment different from that which befell those who were left back in sodom, but destruction nonetheless. 26 “When the Son of Man comes again, it will be the same as it was when Noah lived. All born-agains — who receive the first salvation which is obtained purely by faith— but fail to obtain the second salvation which can only be obtained by Faith and Works — faith without works, in this case, is dead— will end up like Lot's wife, is the gist that Jesus Christ was trying to pass to the sheep(and potential goats) among His flock. ![]() |
slimjohn2k5:The problem with this is that what James said was not a rebuttal to Paul but rather a statement made regarding the second Salvation which required Works, unlike the First Salvation which is instead worked only by Faith. What your religious overlords do not know and hence fail to tell you is that Jesus Christ offered those who would accept Him Two different Salvations, not one. ● The first salvation was from the condemnation of sin — Death, God's heavier curse which He inflicted on those who failed to meet the Standard of His Law of Moses. Those of them who would choose to first Salvation — become born-again — were granted Eternal Life(that which they failed to obtain from the Old Law because of their disobedience. To become born-again one has to simply obey the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ — faith — and this first salvation is an eternal covenant — there is no undoing this salvation - John 3 vs 1 - 21. Once a person is born of Spirit, that person cannot be unborn of the Spirit — that contract is eternal and may spell doom for such a one if he/she decides to neglect the responsibility that comes with being bound to that eternal yoke. ● The second Salvation, can only be obtained after one has been certified as a born-again follower and then made the choice to stand faithful until the end — Matthew 24 vs 12- 13 & Mark 13 vs 13. It could only be obtained through continuous submission and obedience to the teachings and commandments of God's Law — Faith— and righteousness— works—until death. Only born-agains who submit their lives to doing only that which He commands can obtain this second salvation which comes with a guarantee of Heaven at the end(Eternal Reward). Those who fall short and are unable to obtain the second salvation are guaranteed Eternity in Eternal Damnation. In his letters, Paul spoke mostly of the first salvation, salvation from the condemnation of sin which is Death. James, on the other hand, when he insisted that Faith without works was dead, referred instead to the obtaining of the second salvation which is necessary should one have hopes of making it into Heaven at the end of the day. ![]() |

Mimicle101:Well, duh! Like those who pay attention to you won't be doing the same — at their own risk! ![]() |
Mimicle101:1. If your idea of what it means to be human is having the freedom to inflict hurt and pain on others— even children—and then carefully walking away from the chaos you created so you can start over afresh somewhere else, you certainly have a long way to go. ![]() 2. I already said it! Your noxious poems of how much you loved your ex, were just nonsense to pull the heartstrings of the gullible with and further delude yourself with this image of a "good" person you seem to have going for you there. You sound a lot like a predator looking for his next prey! ![]() 3. An entitled predator at that! ![]() |
Kingcalls:I don't follow at all at all! ![]() |
Mimicle101:See cowardice on display for Pete's sake! ![]() 2. You admitted that it was your wife who took care of your kids until she could no longer endure keeping up with the charade that was you and her united in marriage. Yet you dare to ask the question in bold regarding the care of the kids? ![]() 3. You have admitted here that you broke your own home, destroying any and every chance of a peaceful resolution, yet somehow you dare to shove the blame on an outsider for admitting what you already know which is that the marriage is indeed broken? Are you for real? What kind of eejit-otic mind game are you trying to play there on yourself now? ![]() |
Mimicle101:What she instead told you is in danger is not her home and marriage but her sanity and that of her children. Those are rightly greater priorities than the violent environment that is her marriage. Those children do not deserve to be put through such wickedness in the name of keeping a marriage. ![]() 2. It is so funny how those of you who wrought wickedness on others by your own hands are always the first to invoke God whenever cornered. It is like an expected reaction from manipulative beings. OP, does not need prayers nor does she need to pray to any god out there unless she worships some sort of actual god of marriage that she is sure will save her from this marriage contract that binds her to an abusive man and endangers regularly the mental health of her children. ![]() 3. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 - Yes o, Sister, remain enduring as a punching bag in marriage. That marriage badge will bear you witness after your health and probably life has been thoroughly damaged all in the name of love. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
Mimicle101:🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 de·bateNotice how the one thing you think I somehow owe you is missing from the definitions of the word? ![]() |
Mimicle101:The one who came here playing the blame game is you, not me. 2. I am not trying or fighting hard for anything. I am simply on here to debate thoughts, and ideas churned out by the worms in your mind and that of others. After all, that is what an open forum such as this one is meant for. ![]() |
SonofGod231:Ah! She no longer has a career because she is married. Do you mean that the desire/longing she had to be somebody for herself, to make her own money and take care of her own needs vanished the moment she got married? That drive/passion she once had to make a name for herself vanished after marriage set in. Is that what you mean? ![]() |
TeamLeader:Ol boy, it's been many years later. I hope you have at least realized by this point that all that money you were pouring down into the pockets of men of gods and their deliverance business na him be one of the major points for your problem. All that would have served as an investment/seed for your own business growth. ![]() |
Mimicle101:Arrghh! The equation is still majorly about you and you alone. Nothing about the children whom you hurt by your wickedness, just you and how your life has to turn out. Imagine the love of this one. ![]() |
SonofGod231:You never mentioned what became of the lady? ![]() |
MumEmdy:You are one of those naive bits of humans out there, aren't you? Just hope neither you nor your children ever encounter the kinds of manipulative beings that the world outside of your home and mind are filled with. ![]() Person dey dey literally tell you A and absolutely A but you dey blindly read B and only B from the same text. Na special talent your kind get be that. I can't imagine why for the life of me. ![]() |
Mimicle101:If you were, you wouldn't come here writing noxious poems about how you supposedly loved a woman whom you helped turn into an abuser and a monster in marriage. You wouldn't open your trap to blame your wickedness on addiction. Addicts are not wicked people. Rather, wicked people who turn addicts are those who do what you did to your wife and kids in the name of love. ![]() |
soulhelper481:He afflicted his woman till she eventually became a monster and an abuser to him. Imagine that! Then he claims she would have helped change him if she had remained in that abusive environment with him, but he never mentioned how he would go about helping her change back from the monster and abuser he helped turn her into. ![]() |
1. His adopted son's wifeLOL....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 And that is different how? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
MumEmdy:1. Go back and beg for the woman whom he helped turn into an abuser and a monster to return to him. This time around, if one of them ends up dead, will you be there to open your mouth that you were one of those who suggested they get back together? By the way, the guy is still struggling, probably missing the pillow that used to support the weight of his abuse. If another woman were to get caught in that net, you would find that the memories of the other wife would probably all but disappear overnight. Care to send your own daughter into that web? ![]() |
Mimicle101:You literally helped turn the woman into a monster and an abuser, probably a complete shadow of her old self, yet you want us to believe it was all for the love you have for her? ![]() 2. Isn't the one wrong already too much for so many to bear? ![]() As for what you said of people having a heart for people struggling with addiction, I can confidently tell you that addiction is one problem, wickedness is another when it comes to those who burden others with their demons. ![]() For many many years of my life, I too had struggled with several demons of my own. Rather than burden those around me with them, I took to running as far away from them as I could in order not to hurt them with my problems. I kept contact and tried the best I could to explain but I made sure to stay away from having the pain of me inflicted on them in any way or form. You, on the other hand, literally sat your demon on the heads of your wife and children, and worse, expected them to happily deal with it in the name of the "loving" you, yet you dare wish for us to imagine you a bare with understanding of what it means to love others. That was not the addiction at work but wickedness on your part. ![]() |
AntiChristian:1. That is like saying I am a follower of Jesus Christ without being a worshipper of Jesus Christ. E no work! Also, Mohammed did marry his daughter-in-law. ![]() 2. Judah did not sleep with her again for reasons best known to him. His personal grudges may have contributed to it, however, none of that makes for right or wrong where God is concerned. ![]() 3. Again, Sin is defined by God in His Law and God’s LE revealed in Scripture at the time contained only a few commandments;none of them against harlotry. ![]() 4. If inheritance of the kind you describe used to be culture for some, OK. I personally believe individuals get to create or choose whatever culture they desire within the constraints of the law. ![]() |
Emm4:So long as she no claim to have visited heaven or hell, she can claim whatever she wants. ![]() |
