■ Learn to argue on a fact without seeking to attacking people directly. If you're learned in sure you might have heard of a type of fallacy called argumentum ad hominem. In Matthew 19:16-22 even Jesus referred to the 10 commandments . Go read and come back
In the passage you quoted, Jesus Christ only mentioned about 5 commandments. So, if we are to assume that only those 5 apply, what then to your claim that there are 10 commandments? What Jesus Christ instead did there in Matthew 19 was list just 5 out of a total of about 613 commandments and statutes that comprise the Law of Moses. undecided

By the way, your claim regarding argumentum ad hominem in this case is rubbish. You have never invested time into learning of the particulars of the Law of Moses for yourself self hence the reason why you go around arguing that there are only 10 commandments in the entire Law. Arguing from a point of ignorance is folly, isn't it? undecided

See her as your sister then advice accordingly but don’t counter my position on her matter because you don’t have an idea what an untamed man in terms if infidelity can do.
■ If you don’t encourage such women to be strong and moved on then depression will be the order of the day.
■ As for God matter, even if you are an atheist you won’t ask her to cheat back instead to pray to whatever she believes because two wrongs can’t make a right. So i don’t even know what your argument is huh Ewwww
OP is already in depression as a result of her husband's roaming dick. She has probably been in depression for the last 6 years of his roaming. So why make it seem as though depression will only come to her now if she chooses to act in her own interest after all this time enduring mental abuse from another? undecided

What an untamed man in terms of infidelity can do? What the fk does that mean and why should that be OP's concern at this point for Pete's sake? undecided

4. Two wrongs don't make a right, but her husband's wrong does, right? Abegi! Stop desperately trying to put chains on OP. You can't help but have her remain controlled, can you? Humans eat consequences for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. No need to threaten anyone with it. The consequence of OP's husband cheating on her for 6 years is depression/mental abuse which OP is fed up with. There go to method, like numbskulls, is to always attack the messenger and never the message. Men are afraid of silence of a woman that is been pushed to the wall.
Simple tips:
Don’t ever confront him again, give him space, ignore him concentrate on your children and yourself. Start dressing well and take good care of yourself. Don’t ever give him money again. Keep him in silent treatment. Take yourself out on dates along. But remember don’t cheat back or try to revenge because two wrongs don’t make a right. Lastly pray Always to God for inner strength and peace then watch how he will be restored to his default settings. DM me so we can talk more
You impose God as if a shackle --- restrictions --- on the woman all while knowing the man roams free? You want her to pray for what exactly at this point in time? WOW.. undecided

OP,many people do not wish for you to be free because you are in there eyes a married woman and required to wear at least religious chains for the rest of you because of it. They wouldn't impose the same on the man though because somehow their religious god does not hold men to the same standards. Please know that you are the one who should determine how free you ought to be in your life same as your husband who wickedly chose to disrespect you in marriage. No other humans opinion should matter. undecided

Good day here, I do follows your comments keenly on major post...My question is this, what is your take on pastor choosing for couples who to marry and who not to marry, like is it biblical or not... just need some enlightenment. Thanks as I await your response
There is absolutely nothing scriptural about these and many of your church rituals. Jesus Christ instead said that your marriages are of the world of men and not of the Kingdom of God - Luke 20 vs 34 - 36. He proceeded to declare that God's special blessings are instead on those who live as Eunuchs for the sake of the Kingdom - Matthew 19 vs 11 - 12 -, even assuring that it is the women who have no children that are blessed by God — not women who have children. lipsrsealed
27 A large crowd followed Jesus. Some of the women were sad and crying. They felt sorry for him.
28 But Jesus turned and said to the women, “Women of Jerusalem, don’t cry for me. Cry for yourselves and for your children too.
29 The time is coming when people will say, ‘The women who cannot have babies are the ones God has blessed. It’s really a blessing that they have no children to care for.’
30 Then the people will say to the mountains, ‘Fall on us!’ They will say to the hills, ‘Cover us!’
31 If this can happen to someone who is good, what will happen to those who are guilty?” - Luke 23 vs 27 - 31

■ Because on the cross of calvary He bears the sin of the world. So God departed from Him waiting His death and resurrection after He might have buried our sin in the grave. He say He is the lord, not God. Son of a king is prince, and son of God is lord.
There is no truth to this claim you make here. What Peter said of Christ carrying our sin in His body on the cross was not meant to be read literally but figuratively. Why? Well, for anything to happen, there must first exist a way provided by the God of Isreal for it to happen. The God of Israel never provided for any man to carry away/absolve another man of his sins. This means that there was no way for Jesus Christ — Himself submitted to the Will/Law of the God of Isreal — to absolve men, equally submitted to the Old Law of Moses, of sins committed against the God of Israel. (Jesus Christ could not and did not magically absolve men of their sins.) undecided
18 Slaves, be willing to serve your masters. Do this with all respect. You should obey the masters who are good and kind, and you should obey the masters who are bad.
19 One of you might have to suffer even when you have done nothing wrong. If you think of God and bear the pain, this pleases God.
20 But if you are punished for doing wrong, there is no reason to praise you for bearing that punishment. But if you suffer for doing good and you are patient, this pleases God.
21 This is what you were chosen to do. Christ gave you an example to follow. He suffered for you. So you should do the same as he did:
22 “He never sinned, and he never told a lie.”
23 People insulted him, but he did not insult them back. He suffered, but he did not threaten anyone. No, he let God take care of him. God is the one who judges rightly.
24 Christ carried our sins in his body on the cross. He did this so that we would stop living for sin and live for what is right. By his wounds you were healed.
25 You were like sheep that went the wrong way. But now you have come back to the Shepherd and Protector of your lives. - 1 Peter 2 vs 18 - 25
Something else you need to know as well is that a person under the curse of one of God's Laws cannot be set free from sin under that same Law because the curse is designed to prevent that from ever happening - Deuteronomy 28 vs 15 - 57 & Leviticus 26 vs 12 - 41. To redeem such a one, would first need to be removed, after which a different path to redemption be provided — a different Law/Covenant. Jesus Christ is God's new Covenant and Law meant to provide the people a path to redemption for their sins. To conquer the cause and free the people from the Old Law, what Jesus Christ was instead able to do —thanks to the example provided by the God of Israel in the desert when He raised the bronze snake as a beacon of salvation to the children of Isreal He condemned to die—was allow Himself to be raised similarly so he could remove the curse of death from their heads - John 3 vs 14 - 18. Once saved from the curse of sin — Death—, the people then had freedom to redeem themselves of their sins through the following of the New Law. undecided

More like shackles meant to control and subdue the minds of women in a way no different from the bukhas and hijabs of Islam. Jesus Christ gave no man or human authority over women using His name. Paul talks about three heaven, where God the father, the Son and the Holy spirit dwells and the second is the outer space of the earth while the First is the earth we lives. It's recorded that Michael and the other angels will have a war with Satan and his angels.
■ If we can remember in Job 1:1 - 2, 1:8 when Satan met with God to tempt Job same as Zechariah 3 when he accuse Joshua. It means he still have access to God. That brings to my question that, Is the war in heaven describing Satan original fall or an end times angelic battle ?
There was never a war in Heaven. What you read from the Book of Revelations, a book of dreams/visions of a war between a character called Michael and a red Dragon is meant to be interpreted — as you would all dreams— and not consumed literally. undecided

The satan character described in the Book of Job as well as the Book of Zechariah is a servant of God who answers and takes orders only from God Himself. He is not an equal or an arch villain as the many religious narratives have made you to believe but rather a servant who reports and acts at the behest of God, His Master. undecided

What exactly did Judah do wrong in that case? His sons messed up and got death as a result. What sin did he, Judah, commit in that case? Yes, he did not pass his next son to the woman, probably for fear that he too may do wrong and be killed off by God but there was no time constraint to the deal he made with the woman. So what was his fault in it all? undecided

Also, if you read the story through the end, the woman was not inherited at all. These people of the time lived by the law which was that they multiply, and she got married for that purpose and seemed bent on accomplishing that very goal by way of that family. Something she eventually did after she slept with Judah himself so how was she "inherited" when she seemed to be on a mission of her own? undecided

■ When I see my fellow brethren clamouring about the law again,i get amazed. Was it the law(abiding by its principles) that got you saved or Faith in Christ Jesus. If the law was what you needed for salvation, then no need for the sending of Christ Jesus to the world. Christ is your Lord. Not the law.
■ Hang on the doctrines of Christ your Lord which was given to us by His foundational Apostles through Him. Some affirm "if we are not to live by the law, we can do whatever we want" Hang on the doctrines of Christ the Lord Jesus says. One of His doctrines is to walk on the Spirit in order not to fulfil the fleshly lusts. Galatians 5:16-21. Another of Christ's doctrine is to crucify fleshly lusts. Colossians 3:5-7. Another of Christ's doctrine is to keep yourself unspotted from the world. Titus 2:11-12.James 1:27.
■ All of your Lord's doctrine [teachings] is writen in the epistles. Go, study them. Do them.
1. Sigh! Jesus Christ is God's New Law and Covenant in the Kingdom of God. It is only by abiding by the Law of God that one can be said to be saved by the Law. God sent Jesus Christ to save those among His people, Israel, who failed to meet the standard of His Old Law of Moses — the Lost sheep of Israel. And much the same as the Old Law, those who wish to be saved by the New Law ought also to live their lives in continuous submission and obedience of the New Law in other to be saved by Him, Jesus Christ. undecided

2. Those are not at all doctrines but different takes on the mandate from God which is that those who live under His Law must obey His Law no matter what or face the consequences.

3. Wrong! The epistles put together contain less than 1% of the Gospel teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ. Those of you who worship the mere letters of the apostles without in fact learning the details of the Law Himself, worship in vain since near nothing of the actual teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ are to be found in you. undecided

If you read the old testament you would discover that when people die they are being taken to Sheol[The Hebrew word seol [l/a.v], "Sheol, " refers to the grave or the abode of the dead ( Psalms 88:3 Psalms 88:5 ). Through much of the Old Testament period, it was believed that all went one place, whether human or animal ( Psalms 49:12 Psalms 49:14 Psalms 49:20 ), whether righteous or wicked ( Eccl 9:2-3 ). No one could avoid Sheol ( Psalm 49:9 ; 89:48 ), which was thought to be down in the lowest parts of the earth ( Deut 32:22 ; 1 Sam 28:11-15 ; Job 26:5 ; Psalm 86:13 ; Isa 7:11 ; Ezekiel 31:14-16 Ezekiel 31:18 ) ]
Fast forward to New Testament Jesus came to die for our sins grin and like I learned from the tv-series Ones upon a time Everything comes with a prices grin So I will die for your sin You either follow me and then go to heaven or don't and then go to Hell and burn cheesy Jesus kind of Created Hell cool And he is the good guy?
OP, you were very close actually! Yes, Jesus Christ came with a new deal and yes, only those who sign up for the new deal — become born-again —could either end up in Heaven(Eternal Reward) or Hell(Eternal Damnation). The choice to end up in Eternal reward or Eternal Damnation is left up to the individual by Jesus Christ. Each born-again gets to decide whether to abide by the Law in the Kingdom of God —obey all of the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ —or not. So, it is a bit rash to suggest that Jesus Christ's deal isn't a fair one. grin
