AfonjaMozlems: Petition alone cannot stop a person from travelling. Only a court order. Can we see it? Imagine an arrest made simply on grounds that a petition was submitted? It seems the Nigerian POlice force(DSS included) has completely abandoned the Constitution all together at this point in time. |

Cromagnon: ■ simple question you begin de yarn opata. How will you reform it when the Only the president can and he has refused. But if you had 36 police forces some governors would fix theirs and Shane will force the others to wake up but as na monopoly we get Shishi will not change as there is no incentive to do so. President is safe. Senators have armed escort. No need to reform. It is you that depends on them So, in your assessment, reform cannot happen at this point in time. Rather, the Governors, who equally have their own armed escorts(they are safe too) are instead the ones you believe can reform the police force when it is delivered into their hands? |

Mayflowa: ✓ Frankly, you were the one comparing price in dollars not him. The real point is the devastation of the economy within a short frame and that is what he was about ✓ Again, dollar exchange to N250 in 2012 - 2015. And flights in US were not $40. Have you heard of “purchasing power parity”? This is economic term economist use to compare countries currency through a “basket of goods” not a direct exchange you did. Prices in US align with paycheck. Is anyone paid $20 a month in US? I Wrong! I simply converted his claims to its dollar equivalent to give him perspective is all. I made no comparison different from the one he insisted on his post. 2. Then it is nonsense to not also quote the Dollar equivalent after 2024 to show how things have in fact changed with the same Naira since the cost increase has been majorly due to the Naira loosing value. |

Mayflowa: ,✓ Don't go like that! I have been using aero contractor to travel from Edo to Abuja for N9,999 not too long ago. Sometimes promo will go for N7k. This was 2012 - 2016. Around 2019, it was 21K - 25k for Arik. Lagos route were always cheaper. The dollar has nothing doing at N1600. It was N400 official before Tinubu took over. Did our income reduce from mining or oil export? NO! We even had more money when crude soared to $100 per barren. We have decided to take unnecessary debt that were embezzled by a political few and mortgage our lives. Other African countries' currencies are overtaking Naira by numerous factor in few years!
The man Tinubu has already killed millions of Nigeria by his policies, hunger and cluelessness. He isn't even leading because I know he can't. Was he not the one speaking "Bulaba?". How many more lives would be let to die before he resigns? The point is that the Naira has lost much of its value and so it become pointless comparing prices with considering eqiivalent value even at the time. Flights in Nigeria were never $3-6 dollars. |

shineeye1: ■ Those disgruntled misfits must be made to bear the full weight of the law for their travesty. It will not be justice done to society if these dangerous criminals are only disgraced and dismissed from the supposed law enforcement body. Discharging them into society will endanger society. These animalistic humans will redirect the military training the police force gave them against society. They will become kidnap kingpins, bandits trainers and every other service providers inimical to society. Those demons in human skin must never taste freedom ever again! Anything short of this is hazardous and disservice to society. They must remain incarcerated for the rest of their miserable lifetime in the interest of society and civilization. That is Justice. But here is the thing! You go on facebook, twitter, X, etc, and you rarely find a mention of the name and badge of a police man or woman implicated by any citizen. It is almost as though citizens excuse the crimes committed against them by these men. How do you bring them to book if they are not identified and named by those whom they commit these crimes against? |

uuzba: Reform the police system with whom? Which people are you going to put in the police system? Who will train them? What is their basis of operation? Whom should they protect? How much will you pay them? How dedicated can you make them? If there is NO NATION, then there is no reason to protect one. This is the case we are in right now. The existing police do not see any reason to protect the people. The people, us, are here daily on social media insulting and fighting each other with our different arguments. Why should any police give a damn about protecting us from any thing? They will just leave us to kill ourselves with all our useless hot arguments and extort money from whomever they can intimidate. They have families to feed and want to save their own lives. They will protect the rich politicians giving them money to eat.
Most of you don't have a clear idea of what it means to reform an existing system. This entire rant of yours actually contains a lot of information on what needs to be reformed of the existing force but you don't see it yourself because you don't have a clear clue of what it means to reform a thing. |

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) the Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Sen. Abubakar Kyari, inaugurated the sale of the subsidised milled rice on Thursday in Abuja, noting that the exercise would be carried out across the country. Kyari said the rice intervention was timely due to the times and current challenges in the country. Bigkoko: ■ You're really nuts..... hahaha 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣. You woke from a deep down slumber from where ever, you come online and assume I said the G-d of Israel is a liar. Kaiii....this kind madness, he remain for you to enter street! What you make of my post is entirely your responsibility, not mine! Damn I didn't assume that at all. Recall that you claimed you know the God of Israel, a God who swore that the only people who are His people are those people who have the blood of Jacob coursing through their veins. According to you, that same God shadows you. However, the declaration made by the God of Israel proclaiming the children of Israel His only inheritance in the land of men has been established for over 2000 years. This means there could only be one explanation for why you, a non-Israelite(not a descendant of Jacob) would claim that the God of Israel knows and shadows you. And it is that consider the God of Israel a bloody liar. His proclamation means absolutely nothing to you hence the claims you made regarding His person against His word. |
