Your clutching at straws very desperately to prove false assumptions and a false narrative you have created by yourself.

My constructive criticism is very clear and my past posts and he took my advice and the results are his current ascendency.

Maybe it's PAINFUL TO YOU HOW RIGHT I WAS.

You will just have to live with it.
He took your advice?
Wetin Callistus no go see for choir practice.

That was never an advice, you wrote him off.
You never believed in him. While he was struggling with injuries you said he'll never make academies of EPL teams or even championship.

Even recently he was linked with the EPL you said he should go to teams like Newcastle. We remember!

Now you want a front role ticket at the glory party claiming you adviced him. Better carry your advice and give it to onyedima and the rest of your innit boys. They are the ones in need of advice.

"THE GUY ON GREEN"
(The Man Who Had No Name...)

He was barely 13 when he lost his mum and as if that was not enough, 3months after losing his mum, his father lost his job.

The last among 7 siblings, be started hustling in the streets of Lagos at a young age...

His eldest brother sold newspapers, sisters sold oranges on the street while he was among those small children hawking bottled water along Ojota road in Lagos.

Life was hard living in one of Lagos biggest refuse dump sites in Olusosun, he still had a dream...a very valid dream..

His father wanted him to become a medical doctor but he dropped out of school to pursue his own dream of becoming a footballer but his father still supported him.

He kept playing street football and was only a youth player of the then Ultimate Strikers Academy, he never played.

In 2014 at age 16 he went for the Nigeria Under-17 team screening held in Abuja by coach Amuneke.

More than 2million players were in the Abuja stadium and they were both given 15mins to impress.

He scored 2goals in 15minutes but the tired Amuneke sent him away with the others.

But as they left, he heard Nigeria team doctor telling the coach Amuneke to try out "The guy on green"

Coach Amuneke turned and called out "The guy on green!!!"...he turned because he wore green, ran back and the coach said..."You no dey chop? why you lean like this...sit down!"

And that was how he got selected into the Under-17 WC team, he later went on to win the following...

• 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup
• 2015 FIFA U-17 Golden Boot (Highest Goal Scorer)
• 2015 FIFA Silver shoe award (Second Best Player)

Then the European big clubs came calling...
On January 5th 2017 he signed for Wolfsburg in Germany and he was supposed to start living his dream now right..Life got tougher for him.

The coach that brought him to Germany got sacked and he was injured in his right knee (a torn meniscus injury) and had to be operated 3 times.
After surgery, he started training to get fit, while training he had a shoulder injury that needed another surgery.

After surgery he came back to Nigeria to be with his family and get fitter before returning to Germany...He got better and even went to church for thanksgiving..

He was about to travel back to Germany,he had his bags packed when he woke and found himself in a hospital bed in Lagos.

Wolfsburg thought he didn't want to come back for pre-season and asked for doctors report and pictures which he did.

He was diagnosed of malaria and typhoid.

He got better, traveled back to Wolfsburg and for 3weeks he was quarantined away from the team.

Wolfsburg decided to loan him and he agreed because he wanted to play football, he even decided to play for the lower division of the German league but Belgian top division club came calling, ZULTE WAREGEM in Belgium wanted him on loan, so he went to train with them, they tested him and found out he still had malaria but the coach told him to keep training...

For 3weeks he trained, scoring goals in training and the coach promised him, they would sign him...

Finally an escape route but on the eve to the day he would be signed, his agent was called and told he wasn't needed again.

He went to Wolfsburg who relegated him to the Under-19 team to train so he could be fit to be loaned out later...

Whilst training, another club called It was the Belgian Champions CLUB BRUGGE, He was happy, went to Belgium where he passed his medical and the team doctor told him it's left for the club president to make the move official.

The deal was never made official as Club President turned him down AGAIN...He was broken!

He went back again to Germany, would wake up by 4am to cry, he told his agent not to worry about any transfer again so as to allow him stay and fight for his place in Germany but....

On a Wednesday morning, 5days to the closure of the European transfer market, he got a call It was a call from another Belgian Club, this time CHARLEROI FC, a voice introduced himself as the Club president and told him "Can you come to Charleroi, I want to sign you"

He left for Belgian on road with his agent and they spent 7hours, when he got to Belgium..HE GOT SIGNED.

For a player that hasn't scored a goal in 2yrs of turning pro...He scored 20goals in 36 app for the club and later left to join French Club Lille

He has been tearing up the French league.

"He is a beast...He has a lion heart"
- John Ogu

"He is the crown Prince to the throne of Nigerian attackers"
- Odion Ighalo

He is one the hottest top prospects in world football at the moment...

He is VICTOR JAMES OSIMHEN!!!

The story was posted by a guy on Twitter named sports dokita (odogwu) @Sports_Doctor2 and I decided to share here.

If you're not pleased with what he's doing, kindly pick up your phone, check match updates of your players and post them here. No one has the sole duty to post player update. Hype your own favs

Good morning all. Have a blissful day

He has been playing consistently in the Segunda División for a few seasons. But nobody has mentioned his name.

However, Nwakali that has not played professional football for close to two seasons is a SE prospect after 8 minutes as a substitute in the Segunda División

Is that not super delusional misguided favoritism. Or what else can you call it apart from naked bigoted double standard.
Igbekeme has been talked about here plenty times. I remember tbaba and supernerd mentioning him several times Calm down Kome. Once you hear home grown players outside England your body go dey spark like transformer.

I understand the exciting surrounding nwakali's debut. He was MVP some years back in an age grade competition and alot of people has high hopes on his career. It looks like its over but he's working hard and trying to revive his career which should be commended.

The same way you talked down Victor Osimhen in Wolfsburg and Sadiq Umar in rangers when they were going through tough times. See how the story has changed today.

Moreover Nerdy was only giving his usual match reports and not hyping

I am a bit puzzled by your proposition.

Because all the U20 boys, l have mentioned are also the same England U17 of the same era

It's quite remarkable that a huge portion of them are Nigeria origin players. The 4/5 years time span you are talking about is with us NOW.

Tega Abrahams
Ovie Ejaria
Tega Onomah
Ademola Lookman
Fikayo Tomori
Seyi Ojo

I have not added all the other English players like Mason mount, Reece James, Calvert-Lewin, Lewis Cooke, Ainsley Maitland, Dominic Solanke, James Gomez, Kyle Walker-Peters, James Maddison, we could also add Adarabioyo and Iorfa who all fall into the same age grade.

All these players have come from the same age U17 / 20 grade teams and era you attempt to make comparison with.

So what is exactly is your pointhuh ❓ Because your comparison fails as these boys have Alll gone very far ahead in thier careers playing in the best clubs in the world.

Look at Yahaya, Eze and Nwakali and you are trying to make comparison, with these players mentioned above.
How can you compare boys who were born in England and either moved from academies of EPL clubs to the first team or went on loan to championship club with boys born in a different continent who do not have the same footballing education (most of the played street football for the better parts of their lives) and opportunities.

Some of these English boys joined top EPL academies as early as age 5 and have spent over 10 years by the time they went for the u17. Compare them to our boys, some were discovered playing street football or sand pitches.

They have to work twice as hard to get opportunities while battling with issues like loneliness, environmental change, racism, unequal chances at that age in order to make it in Europe.

On Victor Osimhen transfer matter

Osimhen’s agent Ariyo Igbayilola has spoken out on Spurs interest:

"We told Mourinho that if he wants Victor, will Harry Kane be leaving? If Harry Kane is still playing for Tottenham will Victor play? Because he will always be benched for him."

"Kane is their number one striker and he is the captain of England; all this will always work for him in the club but at Victor’s detriment."

"He [Osimhen] needs a club where he will always play full games week in, week out. Not to be kept on the bench.”
I love the way this young man is going with his career. He will rather stay at Lille rather than go to a BIG CLUB to sit on the bench. He chose career development over big club status and big pay. Kudos!!! I hope other players learn from this.

Barca can't not finance such deals without loans. The club is owing about 600 million euros for stadium revamp. The deal to sign Antoine Griezmann was financed by a bank that help clubs make big money purchase. It was the same back that financed Joao Felix deal to Athletico Madrid

How much was shared in Anambra State?

How many people have come out in Anambra to say they were paid?

Why start in states with no confirmed cases?

Why share money in states that are not on lockdown where life is still going on as usual while people are going hungry in affected states?

How many people are in these states that's they've shared 3billion already?

Do you know that Lagos State has done more than the federal government in this fight against covid-19?

Some people may choose to believe the federal government scam, but they cannot fool everyone.

He also stated that ministers have already donated half of their salaries to fight the Virus cheesy

Last last, he said he'd share 1k for 20 people grin

Yup, after promoting mtn(as if we care), lied that they've donated 50% of their salary. He proceeded to share 20k. Azzin, Twenty thousand Naira o.

smh
I saw a breakdown of the 50 % salary donation by over 40 Nigerian ministers towards the fight against corona virus and guess what.....the total sum of 50% of their official monthly salary is less than 4 million naira

One thing is sure our politicians will make money from this pandemic. The money allocated and the donations to fight this pandemic will be looted.

They took delivery of 400 Toyota Camry 2020 model some weeks back yet ministry of finance was begging Elon Musk for ventilator.

Imagine sharing billions to only 2.6 millions households. How much was shared.
Someone made a very silly joke that we are about 160 million people in the country so if they decided to credit everyone with BVN 2 million naira from otedola's donation we will still have change left.

Over 10 billion has be raised from donations, the money should be put to good use....more test centres, isolation centres, test kits, ventilators and insurance should be provided for the frontline warriors (medial doctors and nurses).

There are ministers and personnels addressing the issue putting all neccessary measures to curtail the pandemic.

What is he actually gonna say you dont already know? Stay safe,we are on top of the situation, we will come out stronger, bla bla bla.. no one needs those motivational quotes to stay safe and do the right thing.

Italian PM has cried on media so many times yet the death toll keeps skyrocketing.
Even boris Johnson even suggested half of UK to be injected with the virus so as to attain immunity..what does he got?, the virus in full. cheesy

I guess that's how many insisted he make a statement on the virus, when he released a press what happened? They turned it to a caricature and mimicked him making jest and unprofound allegations..

The president doesnt need to address shiit before what's right is done..

Lest i forget, he is no more in Cuba as alleged by uniformed propagandists? grin
If you're comfortable with the elected president addressing us twice a year, (independence and democracy day celebration) so many Nigerian are not pleased with that. We didn't vote him in to ghost on us. We need proactive leadership, Someone who takes the wheel and shows exemplary leadership in the face of an pandemic attack like this.

Most information about covid-19 from the presidency has been done from the Twitter handle of his aids.

The blast in Lagos was addressed from his Twitter handle.

The blast today at Akure has not been addressed yet......

This is not the leadership we voted for.

Please note:

Brazil 3-4 Nigeria (31 July 1996)
This is not a story you’ve heard. Not a story you’ve read. But there’s a lot that needs to be said.

The story still feels like a dream. Who survives a 3-1 onslaught by a star-studded Samba squad — and goes on to win 4-3? Nigerians watched the match in the wee hours of the morning, the period when sleep tends to be sweeter, but the result was certainly real and definitely more delicious.

Parading around the likes of Bebeto, Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Juninho, Aldair, and Roberto Carlos, Brazil were overwhelming favourites to clinch the Olympic gold at Atlanta ’96. Nigeria brought their dream team — Kanu Nwankwo, Austin Jay Jay Okocha, Daniel Amokachi, Victor Ikpeba, and Sunday Oliseh, coached by Dutchman Johannes Bonfrere — but it’s possible not one soul believed they could get a result.

3-1 down and with 12 minutes to go, either a comeback spirit possessed Nigeria, or the team was lifted by thousands of prayers muttered half a world away. Ikpeba reduced the deficit from 20 yards before captain Kanu equalized with a goal mouth scramble.

Then, three minutes into extra time, the whole of Nigeria quaked with thunderous screams of “goal!”

It was not just any goal; Kanu’s second was plated with gold.

Wild celebrations erupted across Nigeria. People filled the streets, some running stark naked, some lighting up the dark by burning tires. There were drinks aplenty as shops and restaurants reopened to make massive sales. It felt as though Nigeria had already won the tournament.

And that they did. Nigeria went on to beat Argentina 3-2 in the final — with another comeback, of course — , clinching the gold medal and making Olympic football history by becoming the first African team to do so.

After the historic match, forward Sunday Oliseh said, “I guarantee you that as I talk to you now, everyone in Africa is celebrating. There is no sleeping tonight. Everyone will be happy"
When Nigeria beat Brazil, when Nigeria beat Brazil oh. Bebeto come they cry, when Nigerian beat Brazil.

Unforgettable night from Atalanta 96 Olympics.
