EASTERN Province has been stocked with over 1 million pieces of condoms ahead of Kulamba traditional ceremony of Chewa people of Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique slated for this Saturday in Katete district.

The province has been stocked with 1,249,920 latex material ahead of the ceremony which is expected to attract thousands Chewa's from the three countries.
Kulamba Ceremony is an annual traditional ceremony that portrays the rich cultural heritage of the Chewa people from about 210 Chewa chiefdoms in Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia.

Here's a thought provoking suggestion to the government of our great country Nigeria.

*A senator earns N36,000,000 monthly*.
If this is divided into two, he collects N18,000,000 and the balance *N18,000,000 can be used to employ 200 Nigerians graduate who will earn N90,000 per month.*

200 persons multiplied by 109 senators = *21800 employees*.

This means that 200 Nigerians graduate can live comfortably on half of a senator's
monthly pay.

*A member of the Federal House of Reps. earns N25,000,000 per month.*
If this is divided into two, the 'Honourable'
earns N12.5million per month. The balance *N12.5million will employ 135 Nigerians who will earn N92,500 per month*.

135 Nigerians graduate multiplied by 360 Honourables in the Federal house of Reps. = *48600 employees*.
135 Nigerians graduate can comfortably live on half of a monthly income of just ONE Honourable member of Reps.

*This administration can actually EMPLOY 70,400* *Nigerians graduate who will earn N90,000 and N92,500 respectively _just from the simple REDUCTION of the monthly income of both Senators and Rep members_!!*

A former Governor of Ekiti State and current Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Kayode Fayemi, has said he would not take issue with his successor , Governor Ayodele Fayose .
He stated that he had chosen not to reply Fayose who has been attacking him because the governor enjoyed entertaining the people.
Fayemi said this in Ado Ekiti while replying questions from journalists during a visit to the family of his late deputy , Mrs Funmilayo Olayinka, for the death of the late Olayinka’ s father , Pa Festus Famuagun, on Saturday.
Fayose had, last week, accused Fayemi of plotting to manipulate the Supreme Court Justices to remove him from office .
He said the new plot was in furtherance to his earlier allegation that Fayemi , in collaboration with leaders of the All Progressives Congress in Ekiti and Abuja , were seeking to return to power through the backdoor , by enlisting a section of the judiciary to revisit the 2014 governorship election in the state.
Fayemi, however , said , “ I have told you several times that I won ’ t discuss the present governor of Ekiti State on any issue ; and on this issue, I won ’ t dignify him with a response.
“ This is a free world . As you know , anybody can propagate any idea as he deems fit . I don ’ t belong to the mud and I don’ t want to be dragged in the mud .
“ He is free to say whatever he likes and just let him continue to entertain the people or himself. ”
On the entourage with the minister was his former deputy and new Chairman , National Board for Technical Education , Prof. Modupe Adelabu.
The former governor described Pa Famuagun as an asset to Ekiti State , praising God for giving the deceased the opportunity to live a good life.
“ Pa Famuagun was not just a father , he was a confidant. We thank God for his life because he served God and humanity. Even at old age, he kept on sending messages to me and asking after everybody .
“ His death to me was like losing a loved one . But we will emulate his good virtues and this I believe is the best we can do to honour him . ”
But in response, the Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media to Fayose , Mr . Lere Olayinka, said Fayemi was living in a fool’ s paradise if he thought he could come back through the back door.
