Christianity EtcRe: Is It Really Compulsory To Go To Church On Sundays?? by kodlins(f): 12:13pm On Jan 10, 2016
The reason we come to Nairaland to ask al these is because we have refused to read the scriptures.

1 the Bible says do not neglect the gathering of believers

2 I'm the days of God's power, men shall be willing.
I know when you have a genuine encounter with God, all this questions will stop.

3 don't practice religion. Seek to know God personally and for your slef

Bros chill.
Which part of Benin do you stay??
Benin people think electricity is free..

Btw it's BEDC

luluosas:
But why is EEDC (Edo Electricity Distribution Company) still rationing power supply of 3 hours on, 3 hours off to Benin residents till date? Are they not sourcing power from the same source as other states? Their management need to be fired!
PoliticsRe: We Now Have 23hrs Eletricity Supply In My Area: Is It The Same In Your Own Zone? by kodlins(f): 10:26am On Dec 28, 2015
No.the reason is simple.
Most companies have closed for the year hence the Disco's can now channel supply to residential areas.
It's all about maximising profit

NgeneUkwenu:
For The 3 Weeks, In fact since the beginning of December, we have been having almost constant power supply in my area and I wonder what could be responsible for this, though one of my neighbors attributed it to "Harmattan Season"!

Can I hear from you guys?

lalasticlala Can we get the general views of the people...We need to hold government accountable to the people.

Your history should have told you he was a saboteur. He remained loyal to Nigerian Army Betraying his own people.
His family in Onitsha had to change their name to avoid stigmatisation

Harbioollah:
one of the participants of the First coup. I got to know more about him after reading "How we Struck" by a fellow coup plotter, Wale Ademoyega.

A dynamic man, going by what i have read about him. He even joined Biafran side during the Biafra war, where he was finally killed. By who?

Your guess is as good as mine, OJUKWU

Really shocked
I can't believe I just read this from a Nigerian.
1 how old are you?
2 it's not about tribe
3 that book was a JSS Syllable for many years.

This is the reason why Kai Muhammed and other old men will keep being in leadership circles
REMMEI:
What's "Eze goes to school" doing on the list if you can't include

•Akin goes to school

•Sani goes to school ?

Or probably you're trying to tell us the book 'you' have read as a Nigerian.

Something like that
PoliticsRe: Akoko Edo Where You Can Have Stable Power Supply by kodlins(f): 2:49pm On Dec 14, 2015
The reason being that 330/130 kva lines probably passed through your village. So you are using a special a special stepdown distribution substation (transformer)

silvermania:
When I say stable i mean uninterupted also i mean a situation where by you can never have a flat battery for even year. There are times i visit my home town just for a visit and I might end up staying for weeks, during those periods come rain or shining there won't be any power outage. It has been like that for many years according to my dad. Enough said, am talking about the largerst local government area in Nigeria, Akoko edo in Edo state. If you doubt me just take a visit there for high phone users your power bank will be useless.
CareerRe: Are You Frustrated With Your Job,why Are You Still Keeping It? by kodlins(f): 10:10am On Dec 14, 2015
This is my story.

dazzle101:
Sorry, no reasons at all and no regrets too, just up and went, quit the job of 9months, it wasn't making any sense to me no more, had become practically disgruntled, sick, tired, fed up of the life threatening situation. I was losing it, didn't have no peace, was sick everyday but alas each morning I rise up really early and rush out, like the drone I had been propelled to become, I work all through and am expected to keep on a plastic smile in a bid to remain customer centric, return home and I can barely keep still to feed myself, bathe n get enough rest before the break of dawn the next day and the cycle begins all over. No time to even eat until ulcer became a familiar caller. Of course no one knew what I was going through but me. Asked a couple of colleagues, friends and anyone that meant something to get an opinion and everyone; Aaah u want to quit ur job, the country is hard o, see this small girl, what of us that have been here for 8-9yrs, no raise no promotion? My dear please try to manage Oooh, that's how the country is and u have no choice, besides there are many people looking for this opportunity and u want to pass it up. Noooo please don't, continue managing and keep on applying(where was the time to even look out for another vacancy) I tire.

Hmmmmm what was a girl to do? I braced up took d laws into my own hands. Waited for pay day for the month, wrote the darned resignation and signed off. Everyone was aghast, all sorts were said and done but hey; the earlier the better plus life is just too short, no? Between my umblical chord wasn't tied to that organisation or any other for starters.

Funny but the world didn't seize to be and life went on, I was glad I took my freedom back. Today I am happy I did what I did and with other opportunities abound, I remember to thank the Creator who has been merciful.

P:S -. I will never settle for less again, will continue trying and pushing and praying till I get what I deserve from the universe grin grin

OP thank u for this thread, the company I left is still recruiting and there's even a fresh thread on them with everyone scampering to get in, but little do they know and each time I go thru the thread and read their genuine interest at the offer I feel bad all over again as they know not what they are vying for.

The exploitation of graduates have got to end!!!
