In darwin not Sydney. Ethiopian airline does not have direct flight to Australia. They connect with Singapore airline to Australia. So check from their offices.

I came with Ethiopian airline. But connected to Australia with jetstar.Their services are wonderful.However they don't have a direct flight to Australia.So need to connect with another flight to australia

Thanks for the reply. It was in the application to the school and not the embassy. They said I must upload a refusal letter. Nothing like writing date and time or stuff like that. I am going to be sincere with the embassy when I'm asked.

Using an agent wouldn't add anything to your application . Take time to read the thread from part 1 to part 3. Organise your documents well and if there is any doubt somewhere ask questions and you will get a response. Except you are the busy type then you can seek an agent.

Its looking like this is the new basis for rejection - Once they can't verify your business or place of work. Its like they are expecting every business to be registered online or have a website for them to visit. As for me, there's more to this amidst the eyes. They have other reasons best known to them and I believe there's someone working there who doesn't like Nigerians... Period

Pls all nairaland members make sure that the company you work with has a website and company/business email too. This shows how professional the company is. If not you can create one yourself but inform your boss about this.They called my boss asked if he had a website?

Pls make sure that your sponsor's business is fully registered .
Let's be truthful to declare all previous visa refusals when applying.
I remember somewhere in part 1 of thread someone advised us on this issue creating a website for the business.They check all these things as well. Pls lets try read from part1 to part 3 of this thread.Everything we need here has an answer somewhere. Good luck to all visa hopefuls and may God shower His blessings on us.

It looks like if you are not married, above the age of 30 and you are not working in a well known company in Nigeria, you won't be granted visa. They probably don't want young, single Nigerian men in their country. E be like say na to marry then apply again oh... so they know you have a wife in Nigeria to come back to.

These people no get joy.... If you like submit heaven and earth documents, they just don't like young single men. I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be given a visa from all that you have said

I am more than 30yrs and single but yet got my grant by the grace of God.

Additional doc: 15th June ( first degree cert, employment letter)
CO contact: 27th July (requested for extension letter/extension letter was dated 28th july)
CO contact: 31st July ( pointed out that extension letter date has passed and that course should be deferred)
Visa Grant: 14th November, 2017.

Initial start date: 17th July, 2017.
New start date after deferral: 26th February, 2018.

No statement of account was asked ( AL1 school- UTAS)
Masters degree.

You can still upload additional documents even after submitting visa applications, including bank statements and any other one..

I did contact them in July, when my orientation date was approaching ( July 10, 2017).But they replied and said I was within the processing time. Since then , I waited for them to contact me

My family, Victory at last. I just received my grant today.
I applied on the 12/06/17.
No contact until August 2017 , where I was asked for my deferral letter which I submitted.
Now the good news just popped up.

Visa Grant will start falling from this month going

Hello all I have submitted my application for student visa since June 28 2017. I even had to defer my studies till February 2018 as I was given admission. And eCOE for July 2017 initially. But the embassy hasn't sent me any correspondence since I submitted the application. Written series of mails to them this September. But they don't reply mails. Is this a special case or is it my village people or does the visa take 4 months now. On thier site processing times is max 2 months. I'm really tired of waiting on them. Thanks for your reply.

Usually four months before school starts, that is, for those starting their course in February. Normally in November you should hear from them about your visa status

When you type your GTE to certain stage, and you haven't finished with it, you can simply write in uppercase like this "PLEASE SEE CONTINUATION IN ATTACHMENT ". You are then expected to attach in MsWord file to where appropriate. I hope this help!
