If Eric Chelle desires another tall, mobile, aerially dominant, pressing and goal scoring forward to deputize Victor Osimhen in the National team, the answer is not Paul Onuachu or Tolu Arokodare.

He should look at Elijah Adebayo of Luton Town. The guy is mobile like Osimhen, is strong, has positional sense, very good with his head, can hold up play, and more importantly is proven at the highest level, the EPL.

He bagged 10 goals for Luton Town in the 2023/2024 EPL season and that is no small feat considering he was injured for a large part of that campaign. Also, you'd appreciate that feat when you juxtapose it with how other Nigerian strikers have fared in the same league in recent times

Luton Town has dropped to the League One now but I still rate him higher than Onuachu and Tolu based on his general play and output in the EPL in that one season.

How I wished Awoniyi is injury free and add up to his goal scoring,he would have been a good deputy for Osimhen...a fit Awo dey press o...yes Elijah Adebayo is currently injured,good that we have Akor to complement Osimhen
