Politics › Re: How Opposition Is Going To Win In 2027 by Kog45(m): 4:50pm On Feb 05, 2025
proeast:
According to Tinubu supporters, he is a god of politics. He is infallible and unstoppable. Even Tinubu himself and those within his cabinet also have this belief. However, like the popular saying, 'pride goes before a nasty fall' emphasis mine.

During the heydays of PDP, they also believed they were unstoppable and they claimed they were going to rule for many decades to come. One thing has become clear, and it's the fact that Nigerians including the politicians all have short memories. Everything that happened prior to 2015 are all gradually unravelling with uncanny resemblance...

Despite all the spirited efforts of the ruling party to destabilize the opposition parties, a powerfull alignment has started behind the scenes. Already, Tinubu is terribly unpopular in the North, East and indeed across Nigeria except a section of his tribesmen that place bigotry & tribalism above any other consideration.

On the international scene, Tinubu is also very unpopular except in France. Africans don't rate him and neither is he recognised in the United States. Tinubu himself knows the importance of having Washington on his side, and that's why Despite how they shunned him during Trump's inauguration, he still hurriedly sent his condolences over the air mishap.

The unfolding USAID scandal is going to open a can of worms that will further make APC so unpopular both within and outside Nigeria. Just like Bring Back Our Girls campaign was used to destroy Jonathan while the Democrats in Washington mounted pressure too. Trump's Republican is even more Machiavellan than Obama's. He is currently dealing blows on countries that are supporting BRICS and Tinubu is among them. Tinubu also supported his opponent during the election, so Trump will grab any opportunity to take back his pound of flesh and such opportunities are fast manifesting. Let's not even talk about the Chicago cases the Democrats refused to make public!

For those basking in the euphoria of that Tinubu can't be defeated, a shock awaits you!
So this is how oppositions are going to win....I don tire for una theories.

As usual, so many people are not versed in workings of various policies and their respective implications.

By the time it take #3 million for people living with H.I.V to treat themselves and they start to die, you will begin to see that it may be better to begin America.

Gibberish!

How many countries invade and intrude into the affairs of other countries!

Morafvcker make it sound like the money is free!

The fvckin money is indirectly for intrusion and interference! Did any any morafvcker come to the White House to beg for funds!

The US should fvckin get out of countries and fvckin take their morafvckin aids along with them!
This is the most empty statement I have ever heard.

What intrusion are you talking about?

In what way did American intrude into Nigeria or Africa except with the active participation of the powers that be in that Country?

Elon Musk has only said the Plain truth which average Americans have hitherto shied away from.

Let Nigerians stop depending on them and focus on our National Development. Oil Money has made us Lazy and Complacent. Which is why I support the Tax Reform Bill.

It is also why I support 100% what Donald Trump is doing. Maybe, just maybe with this move, we will pay more attention to what Councillors, LGA Chairmen, State House of Assembly, House of Reps, Senators, Governor's,, Ministers and everyone is doing at their respective duty posts

I think Amunike should stay with heartland. It is a long term project. He carried out an open screening and ended up signing 30 players. With time, gems will rise from the youngsters and we will see fantastic crop of players there.

No they are not brothers but very solid players.... Oluwole Johnson and Sunday Johnson are the only home based players that always making Thijs Libregts team...... Oluwole Johnson was a typical Patrick Veira style of player,tauted to replace Sunday Oliseh but injury ruined a beautiful career......Sunday Johnson was Finidi George and Tijani Babangida combined, Sunday Johnson was only home based outfield player that made Sydney 2000,he was on the verge of signing for Ajax but lost out due to failed medical.

Amunike is damn GOOOOOD, in just short time and he get this boys playing beauty football with sexy penetrating passes and orgasmic dribbles! Kudos to Him.
He n his team were unlucky vs My darling Kwara United team @Rashidi Yekini stadium Ilorin some weeks back, they also outplayed Kwara United.
Are you Ilorin based man cuz I don dey follow Kwara United tey tey o.....from Water Corporation as a kid with my papa to Kwara Utility fc,later Kwara bomber then we are landlord in division two for years.

Facts we are not able to secure promotion until we bought Exide fc of Ibadan slot and changed the name to Kwara United to make it to division one and Kwara Star fc a private owned by Olusola Adekanola bought Kwara bomber place in division two......this led to fierce rivalry between Kwara United and Kwara Star,also we have NIPOST fc and Doyin babes owned by Chief Samuel Adedoyin.It was fun then watching NPFL in Kwara Mini stadium which was later remodeled by Bukola Saraki to modern main bowl stadium but now Rashidi Yekini Main bowl but the stadium is now George Agbazikah Innih stadium complex.

Kwara United had his best years between 1996 to early 2000s with CAF confederation cup participation and lost out to Zamalek....this team produced good players......the first eleven players are as follows

1.Yakubu Haruna.. Goalkeeper
2.Friday Ejedegba...RB
3.Monday Obaze....LB
4.Sani Abacha.........CB
5=Alphonsus Ezimoha...CB
6=Oluwole Johnson.......DM
7=Sunday Johnson.......RW
8.Tony Alegbe.......AM
9.Christian Okonkwo....CF
10.Seyi Olofinjana....CM
11.Gabriel Melkam...LW

We also have Victor Gbenebeche a solid Keeper,Tolagbe Alanamu,Olu Adewumi,Kazeem Ahmed,Saheed Adeyinka,Rabiu Antiga,Waheed Olagunju,Anayo Onyenekwe,later Lati Alanamu,Balance Inawole,Taofeek Babatunde,Eniola Aiyejuyomi

Yes I watched Kwara United and Heartland when I was in Ilorin.I gave it to Amunike,good performance from away team.....I received Heartland team along Saadu Alanamu road at Abdulrazaq junction GRA and led them to Rotana hotel.I had bit talk with Amunike who is a friend to my bro a FIFA licensed agent.

Do not worry we go connect bro.

Kudos to PBAT!

The 20.79% surge in Nigeria’s non-oil exports to $5.456 billion in 2024 is a testament to the country’s gradual but strategic shift toward economic diversification, driven by increased agricultural, manufacturing, and solid mineral exports, reinforcing the critical role of policy-driven trade facilitation in reducing reliance on crude oil revenue. 💪

A lot of hungry and angry people will never agree with you on this. But, I must say for the record that for the first time in a life time in a long while,we can see policies that are beginning to yield positive results.
