you can do that only through the court. past a notice to quit on the property and take evidence of service. get a lawyer to file for property recovery from the tenant in court. if the lawyer is good and magistrate is nice and fast, the matter will be fast. the court will come and remove his property with bailiffs.

My location is Rivers state.

Please how do I recover my property from a tenant who has been absent for thirteen months without trace and the apartment under lock and key. His rent expired 2 momths prior to his disappearanceg, making it one year and three months rent arears. Initially, I reached him on phone and he told me that he secured a new job as a tanker driver, that I should be patient with him, that he will come back soon to pay up all his rent arears. But for the past few months, his phone can no-longer be reached. And right now, I really need to take back my apartment legitmately, not minding the fifteen months arrears.

Nwanne, it is not what u think. Ogbum-nu-Abali is a name coined from two Ikwerre communities in Port Harcourt City Council Area. The communities are:
Orogbum (Ulogbum or House of Gbum) and Oroabali (Uloabali or house of Abali).
The two came together to form a single community and gave it a name from suffix of their original names, thus Ogbun-nu-Abali or Ogbum-na-Abali or Ogbum-and-Abali.

Note: 'Oro' is the ikwerre word for house. The isuamas (i.e other igbos) call it 'ulo'.
