Tntsi:
My advise to this star is to disengage from unconstitutional appointment.
It will stain his cloth soon.

Until the nation is settled, no right thinking person should donate himself.
When the foundation is faulty, no matter how beautiful the house looks, it is heading for collaspe.
Allow people who want to move forward to move please, those who choose to remain stagnant can remain.
Politics › Re: Customs Lists Conditions For Reopening Land Borders To Vehicles, Rice, Others by kokoA(m): 8:28am On Aug 11, 2023
Mrsoft3:
It simply means we will further weaken the naira because we are selling to buy other countries currency.

The question that should be raised is

Why is rice expensive?
We produce locally, why the blame on exchange rate?
Who are the people sabotaging the current situation the country is facing?
Do we have enough paddy rice to meet demand?
What can we do right now to cushion the effect of dollar to naira
Nigeria is a very difficult place to do business so it is better to buy from outside and sell to people at moderate cost than deceive ourselves, you don't need to close any boarder if you do the right thing to stimulate local production. No wise business man will establish business in an economy where you can't get adequate electricity, double taxation here and there, insecurity, bad roads, lack of access to financing, etc, even if they do such costs will definitely be transferred to the final consumers which is me and you.

TV/Movies › Re: Jagun Jagun: Femi Adebayo's Movie Gets Tongues Wagging by kokoA(m): 7:08am On Aug 11, 2023
Half of the movie was "slow motion", I hate that. Why must every fight scene in nollywood be in slow motion? huh The storyline was quite predictable to. Anyways, I will give it an 8/10 by nollywood standard, it is better than all the nollywood movies I've seen this year.
Politics › Re: DSTV Banned In Malawi by kokoA(m): 7:31pm On Aug 10, 2023
It's a private business out to make profit. You can't dictate how much they charge for their service but you can decide how they can run it to favour your people. Like here in Nigeria we expect NBC to enforce pay per view, why should I be paying for what I don't watch?! sad But NBC cannot force DSTV to charge a particular amount.

miceroms:
There will be push-backs from these agencies. This is because they all get additional money for collecting these taxes. They will use the National Assembly to frustrate whatever is to be proposed. Even an executive order won’t do much in this regard.
Not when the will is there from FG. There's nothing FG wants to achieve if they really want to, the problem has been lack of political will.

Dittodat:
Really? Shock?
Is there anyone in Nigeria who will not take bribe when given the opportunity?
Nigeria is a country full of corrupt individuals but they expect their leaders to be saints.
Are the so called leaders not from the same corrupt society?
The average Nigerian will enrich him or herself but will still be complaining about others doing the same thing. What sort of hypocrisy is that.
Even you sef go collect roger if given the opportunity.
