The army is the largest and most equipped arm of military, besides, the army is closer to the president than the others, there's a dedicated brigade of army for President's protection. You can't plan a coup if you are not an insider.

Who is the president of ECOWAS ?
Which army will provide the bulk of ECOWAS soldiers ?
Did tinubu object to war with Niger? Or was he one of the people in ECOWAS pushing for it ?
Is tinubu a pedestrian in ECOWAS or is he the president (the driver) of ECOWAS ?
"It is not Nigeria/tinubu, it is ECOWAS" is not an intelligent strategy to evade responsibility on behalf of tinubu. Everybody can see clearly, the usual Yoruba alternate reality won't affect people's thinking.

What's my business with Tinubu, I only tried to correct you. ECOWAS forces under the name "ECOMOG" undertakes such mission, how is that Nigeria army? Can Nigeria alone choose to go to war without the backing of ECOWAS? You guys are making it look like Nigeria president can just wake up one day and say let's go to war..
