My parents had similar encounter with the fraudsters. One of them called my mum on phone, told her he is her distant relation from the village. Told her some things like her brothers' names, her maiden name etc. Told her bout supplying a particular equipment to a company in Asaba and making a profit of 850k per supply. I've forgotten the details, but my parents finally realised those men were fraudsters. My parents very nearly withdrew money for the thing. Na God save them.

The modus operandi of these crooks is to first tell you something to make you assume that they are your relations or friend from the past, etc.

Hello Nairalanders I need your help on how to recover my old nairaland username. I registered on nairaland many years ago, probably in 2006, not so sure. I used my main email address, but can't rememeber the username I registered. I have tried to log in several times with a username I think I used but I am unable to do so.
