Forget about Alexa rank, check aderonke Alexa rank(despite adverts on social media including nairaland) but her blog views. Anybody who has money can buy Alexa rank for themselves but its not sustainable. I live your slow and steady approach. My very first six months in the world of blogging, I get less that average of 50views per day but with time it increases although there are some things I don't know back then but knows later. Over 2yrs now but we keep learning everyday.

Its not true. You can't buy alexa ranking. However you can pay someone to help you improve your website to increase your alexa ranking more like SEO. Alexa algorithm analyses so many matrix before it rank any website.

My advice to you is Write Quality Content based on Long tail keyword. Write about what people are searching for e.g. How to...., Where to...., Best...., etc. There is no sure ways of getting huge traffic in just 5 days unless if you have the money to spend on advertisement.

LAGOS — The Federal Government, yesterday, paid N421 million to the Ikoyi whistle blower, who provided information leading to the discovery of $43.5 million, £27,800 and N23.2 million at No. 16 Osborne Road, Ikoyi, Lagos. Vanguard exclusively gathered that the money was paid to the beneficiary by officials of the Ministry of Finance after which he left Nigeria for an undisclosed country.
