Just called one of the numbers on Toyin Aimakhu twitter page and the lady I spoke said he has been found by his brother but the police are still going to interview why he behaved like this. Thank God he has been found. Toyin Aimakhu should update her twitter page so that people would not be searching everywhere for him. |

Career / Train As A Business Analyst Or Project Manager Or PMO by kokorunna(m): 3:04pm On Aug 28, 2014 |
Ever wondered how certain people can earn up to £500 a day as a project management or business analysis professional? Let’s say we went for the more realistic average rate of £350 a day as a PMO Analyst or a junior Business Analyst, that's still over £7,000 a month The real issue here is practical work experience. Over 90% of people experience will find it extremely difficult securing a project management or business analyst role with little or no work experience even if they have a Prince 2 or Business Analyst Certification. Even with a degree, masters or PHD, without practical work experience, securing a PM or BA job is literally hopeless these days. This is where we come in! Get trained and equipped with all the tools required to effectively initiate, plan, monitor and deploy a complex project such as integrated life style mobile apps and mobile commerce. Working in a team of 12 - 15, you will have every opportunity to master each project management and business analysis tool. You can choose to attend a one week or weekend intensive session which runs for a period of four Saturdays. You will be joining an existing project team of over 100 strong project management professionals who are either already working a project management or business analysis professionals or currently gaining practical work experience. Your practical work experience will give you access to live projects, tools, templates, software and the entire PMO framework in order to successfully secure your ideal job as a project manager, PMO analyst, project planner, business analyst or QA Manager. You also get to get your hands dirty using industry standard tools, giving you a competitive advantage over your peers. Tools such as MS project for project planning, MS Visio or gliffy for business process modelling, basalmiq for creating wireframes, jira for managing agile based projects and the defect management life cycle, basecamp, sharepoint and google apps for document management, status accounting, online project collaboration and confluence for managing software requirement specifications. PLEASE NOTE THIS FOR UK CITIZENS ONLY, IF INTERESTED SEND ME YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS, NAME AND MOBILE NUMBER |
Career / Learn About Project Management by kokorunna(m): 4:38pm On Jul 25, 2014 |
Dear Nairalanders, Its been awhile have posted anything and now I want to share some knowledge on project management. The industry is broad and noticed that there are alot of training centers around that just offer theory explanation Define Project Management Project Management is the art of managing all the aspects of a project from inception to closure using a scientific and structured methodology. The term project may be used to define any endeavour that is temporary in nature and with a beginning or an end. The project must create something unique whether it is a product, service or result and must be progressively elaborated. As the definition implies, not every task can be considered a project. It would be worthwhile to keep this definition in mind when categorizing projects and studying their role in the success of the organization. If you are a project manager, you will know that project management is important. Project management is the science and art of achieving success in your projects. It’s a science because it is possible to set down techniques and methodologies to follow, and an art because you need to have the ability to see which of these to us, and where and when to apply them. Project management is important because it allows us to tackle projects in a clear, repeatable, and successful manner. If we approached every project we face with no clear idea of the techniques to use, we’d end up trying to muddle through every time, making the same mistakes over and over again. This is all avoidable with the proper project management techniques, experience, and knowledge. This means we have more successful projects, achieved in a shorter time, and at a lower cost. So what do you need to do in project management? 1. Understand what success is for your project 2. Plan how to get there 3. Find and allocate the resources needed 4. Monitor progress 5. Identify the project risks, and how to avoid them, or how to mitigate the effects if they occur 6. Solve the problems that occur along the way 7. Hand over a successful product at the end 8. Review the project at the end, and learn lessons for next time (for yourself and your organisation) Notice, though, that none of these imply a particular methodology, a particular set of tools. The right tools to use depend on what job you are trying to do! It would be ludicrous to try and use the same tools for a $500 project that you do for $5,000,000 project! One of the most important things in project management is to know when to use the techniques and methodologies you have at your disposal, to know which of them are right for that particular project. Jobs/Vacancies / Where To Find Work In 2013 by kokorunna(m): 12:13pm On Jan 14, 2013 |
If you're looking for a job in 2013, here are the industries and regions to keep an eye on. Infrastructure, Hampshire/National Nearly £13m is to be invested on upgrading motorways and A-roads in Hampshire, with improvements on the M27, M3, A34 and A3 part of a £217m national programme to improve traffic flow. The £12.8 being spent is expected to help create up to 40,000 jobs between 2013 and 2015. Added to this, more than 23,000 new homes are scheduled for build in the county by 2020, creating jobs for the local construction industry. Retail, NationalThe high street has undeniably suffered over the last few years but there are retailers who plan to expand and take on more staff next year. Department store chain Debenhams plans to open 17 new stores over the next five years, with locations including Cheshire Oaks, Fort Kinnaird, Beverley, Wandsworth, Scunthorpe, Darlington, Shrewsbury and Newport, South Wales. German supermarket chain Aldi is in the middle of a two-year plan to open 40 new stores, having seen a huge surge in trade after successfully moving upmarket and gaining recognition for its high-quality produce at low prices. There will also be opportunities in the rapidly expanding designer shopping village sector, led by firms like McArthur Glen - which very recently gained planning permission for a new £35m development in Swindon. Pharmaceuticals, North WestRecruitment specialists Hays Life Sciences have identified the North West as a particular growth hotspot for the pharmaceuticals industry, with major players still expanding and new start-ups springing up around them. The company's Manchester director David Nixon said: 'The excellent transport links, outstanding universities, affordable office and laboratory space is fast making the North West an attractive place to do business. This is particularly true for the growing number of start-ups in the region.' Redx Pharma, based in Liverpool, recently secured £4.7 million in regional development funding to create nearly 150 jobs developing new anti-viral treatments over the coming years. Tech start-ups, East LondonEast London has changed dramatically over the last decade with urban regeneration accelerated by the Olympic Games, but the area has also become a hotspot for computer technology start-ups. Known as Silicon Roundabout or Tech City, the area in question is centred on Old Street - but business is expected to spread eastwards as businesses move into the legacy facilities left behind by the Olympics. In a recent opinion piece for the BBC, Tudor Aw, KPMG's Head of Technology Europe, said: 'The number of UK seed and start-up companies that have benefited from venture capital investment has grown steadily over the last few years, despite the financial crisis. Today, almost 5,000 digital and technology companies are estimated to be operating in East London, almost half of all the UK start-ups.' New tax breaks and support measures for the creative industries are intended to keep the momentum going - so London (and the more established 'Silicon Fen' area up the M11 in Cambridgeshire) is the place to look for tech jobs. see more on http://technostartups..co.uk/2013/01/where-to-find-work-in-2013.html |

Its only GOD that can comfort the families that have lost a love one, no matter whatever sin they have committed. Nigeria has always been a lawless country where the corrupted politicians and killer politicians get away with murder. The video of the killing has gone worldwide and to be treated in this manner is barbaric by those that was involved, clapping, watching and shouting. The country has a whole is upside down and under President Goodluck, it has been nothing but bad luck the worse Nigerian President I can remember in living day light. No one has been brought to justice so far, the government and police are nothing but useless .... another sad case in the history of Nigeria. |

Health / Re: Advice Needed For Hbp,nerves Pain & Internal Heat Patient by kokorunna(m): 2:17pm On Sep 25, 2012 |
I am not a doctor but know someone who had a high blood pressure of 189/80 which is extremely high, does not sleep at night and she is constantly complaining of chest pains. Now they have done all test, scans and x-rays but cannot find anything wrong, the only advice the doctor gave is whatever that's stressing her she needs to tackle it. Secondly needs enough rest, sleep and try to relax, the only thing she was given was a sleeping pill for 14 days and advice to bu a HBP monitor and just monitor it. High blood pressure increases the heart's workload, and over time, this can cause the heart muscle to thicken. As the heart pumps against elevated pressure in the blood vessels, the left ventricle becomes enlarged and the amount of blood pumped by the heart each minute goes down. www.mayoclinic.com/health/high-blood-pressure/HI00062 |
