Good points, but if you read my post, you will know that i do not have anything to do with a Nigerian Passport. I am a die hard Fan of the USA. And when i swore in, they whole USCIS office knew i was proud to be an American. My point is i do not want dual citizenship and if i have to go home, i will get a visa. I will rather die American, than carry two passports while travelling. This ain't no joke. Infact i am looking to Join the Marines or US Army soon.(If i can pass boot camp). There is no sentiments here people i just need to know what i should do with that green passport. Please more suggestions. Maybe i can return it to the Nigerian embassy in NYC?

U would be shocked at the number of Nigerians married to other races and cultures. Many times the Nigerian has more to lose than even the Oyibo man or woman. Please wake up and smell the coffee bro. It is 06 people marry who they want, regardless of race,culture or ethnic background. I think if she likes the white dude, she should settle down with him.It is probably less drama than marrying a Nigerian man in Yankee.

Damn! this is my first Post. Please patronize this post with honest suggestions. I am giving my self till the end of the month to make a decision on what the hell i am going to do with my Nigerian Passport.

I recently became a US Citizen, and as many of you know, i am big on the US. I am wondering what to do with my Nigerian Passport. Hell, it has been a challenge travelling with it around the world, for the last ten years. I need suggestions on what to do with the boring green passport,especially now that i have gone "Blue". Can i donate it? Frame it or Just straight up burn it? Or maybe keep it as a memorabilia?

I think you need to baptize your passport with another country before you go to the US.Try UK or somewhere in Europe first. I am not sure who will write you a letter of Invitation of the bat. You see the person that does,is usually responsible for you. That is Financially, Physically ETC. So if you get into trouble, that person is like your next of kin. I would not do it for someone i do not know. But anyway all the best in your endeavors.

It matters! Her Pool of Nigerian men to draw from are so few up there. I think she would have it harder than someone in NY,MD or NC or even FL.Her Pool of "Good Men" Period are few and far apart in RI. I think you can improve your odds on the internet or maybe you might need to take more vacations to other places. But you have to do something that gets you out of RI. That is if you want to meet More Nigerian or African Men.

I would say Lagos is the worst city in the World to Live.I Lived there for five years on the Island, and Mainland and the place is a complete dump. We do not need the BBC to tell us what we already know. Lagos smells to high heavens, No priority on the Environment, The city lacks planning,Transportation is a mess and crime (OH MY GOD). Would not live there even if i was staying @ the meridian.The Place is a $hit hole!!!

I must admit i miss that good Goat meat pepper soup. But the US brings out the best and worst in all of us. My Sister is 100% Nigerian and her Husband is Half Cuban and Half Japanese, and she is as happy as i ever saw my parents.She now cooks and eats mostly Japenese cuisine. And all of a sudden i have Japenese inlaws. Now i cannot knock anyone for seeking hapiness any way they can, and that applies to Naija men too. If African American women and Bologna Sandwich does it for them, Hey!!!!!!! I personally am a bagel person.So whatever rocks that boat, if Naija men in the west have opened their eyes, then maybe there is something out there that tickles their fantasy.

I must say you are right about Asians, but Hispanics have the highest domestic abuse cases in the US. It usually goes unreported because of fear of deportation. But you will be shocked at the rate Domestic Abuse is prevalent in that community. Your point about Nigerian men not treating their women with respect is not accurate, i think Nigerian women in the US, get better treatment than their peers in Naija. The have laws and rights that are usually in the woman's favor.

But the problem is that a there is an abundance of diverse women in the US. As we all know that a man cannot survive by bread alone. Plus Naija women need to go sharpen their dating/sexual/relationship skills, because in some parts of the country, there are just not enough men to go around. I know some Naija women that are taking matters into their own hands, and going back home to handpick their men.
