Hotstepper I was in Toronto two weeks ago, it is pretty diverse u are right. It is big as hell though! CN Towers and Downtown was nice places to visit. Went Essence nightclub for New Years Eve's Jump Off. |
Not sure Deji, but i think the man wants to come to Yankee. |
Dblock A Song and reality are apples and Oranges. |
Please can anyone here in Yankee answer which rapper is Hot in Heeere!!!! |
@Spike U say who is hottest rapper in the US right now abi? Or of all time? In the Us RIGHT NOW.........IT is a southern Rapper. In Nigeria i am not sure who you guys are bumping. But right now East and west Coast Rappers ain't got nothing on them Southern Boys For real. Now the songs that are played on Black Radio here, are different from what i heard when i was in Naija recently. The songs that are played in Nigerian Clubs are TOTALLY different from what is Jumping here. Nothing against NAS, I think his Lyrics are the Shit, but in America today,Southern Rappers are all the Rave and are getting MAD Air Time. ATL,HOUSTON,MISSISSIPPI,VA, anywhere below the Mason-Dixon Line.......... |
Hottest Rapper today in America i would say is Young Jeezy AKA Snowman. He spits FIRE!!!!!! But if you disagree with me fine. But for real though Southern Rappers are the Hottest thing going in the US right now. T.I,PAUL WALL, DTP,LIL WAYNE,BOW-WOW,BUN'B,LIL'JON,LIL FLIP,Cash money Crew ETC. These Southern rappers ain't going no where. |
Wrong how my Guy? |
@Medube Please do not apologize for anything on this thread, you point is well taken. Bottom line is that as much as we want to sensationalize Naija, and some of us a making a biased argument, the truth is that Ghana is better than Nigeria today. It was not like that 10-15yrs ago, but now they have been able to engineer change in their political and economical situation and have given their people hope for the future. Kokscity appealing to NL member, home and abroad to stop giving nor receiving bribe! |
@Omon and Ijebuman Nothing personal from my last post!!!!! |
@Omon and Ijebuman I was also in Ghana this pass year!!!!!!!! Lovely organized place. I think they should start asking Nigerians for a Visa to go to Ghana. We all know how we can fu*k people's places up with fraud and drugs and robbery ETC.In Johannesburg Nigerians are know for selling Ecstasy, In Milan Nigerian women from Omon's area(Edo/Delta State) known for prostitution. Nigerian male prostitutes from Benin dominate the Italian landscapes. Nigerian Prostitutes hold down black prostitution in Amsterdam(Ijebuman i am sure u are aware of that fact) Nigerian Yoruba and Ibo boys dominate the "Ike fraud scheme" in the UK. And thank God they are catching them here in the US and sending them to Jails.A lot of them are now coming out of Jail Gay, and deported back to that filth. They are punking Naija boys in American Jails and that is one of the reasons why HIV is prevalent in Naija today.Last one in Tx was a Naija Lady that used someone's credit card for Drycleaning amount: $400+.Her ass is in child and i hope freewilly can get her! Kokscity a Patriot with reservations. ![]() |
@Ijebuman U know i respect your opinion, hey it is "UR OPINION". But i have to say that Medube is on ground and as much as we read and know and as many times as we visit. That Nigerian Oyinbo(JK) has his feet on the ground and can see the difference clearer. Hey by the way good looking out on the other post in chatterbox. @Omon I think your issue is too much love for your COUNTRY to a point of arguing blindly sometimes. And you are always the first or second to bring links into an argument. No let me take that back i think Ijebuman and Joftech are first with links and rap songs in Joftech's case. But my point is that Nigeria is a lost cause and i will hope that we can all call it like it is. I was in Nigeria in NOV/DEC and will be back in FEB. I know what my experience was like and i am talking based on my encounters with Police, customs, Road safety, ETC. I tell you it is a sad place to call home. Kokscity a conscious critic |
@Tommiekid Solution= Taking matters into our hands, and using unconventional methods to affect change. When u see an army man's son in Jand bragging about anything, tell him to shut up and return your money. If the law permits hold him by his trousers and tell him that you want his father to return taxpayer money. Tommiekid if not protest his A** right there and then. And if all fails, call him an MF for me please!!!!!!! I hear there are a lot of them in Jand. Kids with parents that have stolen money from the countries coffers!! |
Medube Please push Omon and Ijebuman to wake up. Look @ Omon Snoring !! and Ijebuman is in lullaby land...........Pour water on them and tell them to be battle ready!!!!!!!! |
@Omon Jonathan and Sowore are affecting change from the US abi? They had to leave Nigeria to get that done. My personal belief is that people yearn to be free and if people are looking for better opportunities in life that Naija cannot offer,i think they should leave. Infact mass exodus sometimes makes a country rethink it's policies and it is a form of protest. Kokscity left Nigeria and did not look back!!!!!! Waiting to kill some of these thieves that are ruling us. Catch them on neutral ground and might egg or even pie them. |
@ NA If a child was to be born today(2006), which country do you think that he or she will want to be born in if they had a choice? Nigeria or Ghana? Kokscity will have his kid in present day Ghana over present day Nigeria! |
@Ijebuman, U know i could not sit on the side line too long. I could not resist. @Omon My guy,my guy, take a chill pill. I think you have not been home in a while from my exchanges with you. U have too much faith and hope in that country. I keep telling you that what we need is to Arm ourselves and take back this $hit, or else that dam is broken. The next 10 generations in Nigeria are guaranteed to be corrupt, if the police can take Naira 20 on the street, and get away with it. Then think of what that" Ape" in Aso Rock is doing. Nigeria is doomed and i hope we can stay together pass 2007. We need a revolution to get rid of corruption and greed and injustice. Kokscity is battle ready!!!!! |
@Omon Cross river is not clean, only Calabar is clean. Once u leave the state capital, it is the usual dumb that you expect in Nigeria. @Ijebuman Nigeria's resources should keep it's population and economy vibrant. I think we continue to make these excuses to our demise. @Medube Dude u are as Nigerian as any one here. Feel free to run your mouth and accept my apology for Freewilly, i think she is Hating!! Freewilly u sound like a hater,str8 up!! @Topic Let us call a spade a spade and not a Garden Fork, Ghana is better than Nigeria and you can use any metrics or facts as a yardstick and Nigerians will argue that we are still the paper giants of Africa. Soon Ghana, Cameron and Senegal will be able to beat us Militarily because we are not investing in our future. I personally think Nigeria is one of the worst countries in Africa, and i find it absurd that Nigerians still claim we have out $hit 2gether. Kokscity calling it like he see it from Yankee. |
Sbucareer Nigerians generally do not have a strong sense of Patriotism anymore, so when you talk of emigration it is a matter of personal choice. Trust me Indians and Chinese Emigrate in larger numbers than Nigerians do and many even claim citizenship in places you would not imagine and never go back. Well i left because i had the opportunity to leave, and i am not sorry that i left and i have been back many times and everytime i come back i validate why i left. And if u ask me i would encourage people to leave for better place in this Globe. My reasons for emigration includes economic, education and simply to leave a better life than i had in Nigeria. It worked out well for me, i am not sure if everyone will be that lucky, but darned it they should at least try............. |
