The real issue is that our society values and rewards different elements compared to their own. And as the business/management adage goes, "What gets rewarded gets repeated".

We value small thinking, oppressing your neighbors with small money, relationships without depth, the mysterious that we call "miracles" etc.

They value big thinking, legacy (long term) thinking, crowd funding to help others, clear processes for success, education/constant learning etc.

Our results will surely be different.

When I tell people colonization is not the reason why all African countries are poor. The only countries in Africa that are not poor have a mixture of whites. When we argued, she’d use things I told her when I was vulnerable against me. She remembered every little thing I said and turned it around perfectly to make me feel guilty. I go end up apologizing for something I didn’t even do wrong.
Outside, everybody thought she was perfect. My friends used to say, “Guy, no let that babe go o, she get sense.” Meanwhile, I was the one dying silently inside.
When I finally decided to leave, she didn’t beg, didn’t even look surprised. She just smiled and said, “You’ll come back. People like you always do.” That line shook me to my core.
This girl taught me something: not everyone who looks calm is peaceful. Some people are emotionally cold but know exactly how to pretend otherwise. They don’t feel emotions they study them and use them.
Since then, I’ve learned that love without empathy will drain you. Some people are not violent, but the way they play with your mind go humble you.
So when people talk about toxic relationships, I just laugh. Because not all toxicity comes from shouting and fighting. Some come quietly, in the form of peace that slowly destroys you.

Bro, I’m not even based in Benin. I made the biggest mistake of my life driving down to PH, so I passed through Benin. That main junction link road when you are travelling through benin damaged a lot of things in my car; the engine leakage till date is still under management, and the back and front bumper are gone forever.

The annoying part is that even 100 bags of cement would do justice to that road. With ₦20 million, trust me, that road would fly. What is the state government doing if the federal couldn’t fix it? And you want to campaign for the next election with a budget of ₦100 billion, but just ₦20 million is needed here. I got a contract early this year and, trust me, I finished all the money fixing my car because of that road. Worse mistake of my life, I had to lodge in hotel for more than 30 days because the gear of the car was sent down from lagos, and we kept going back and fort, I didn't want to leave the car in ph then return to lagos. I can't write the story of my life without including that expereince. Just because of a road o....

Benin roads, caused by Buhari that didn't fixed any federal roads in Edo State for 8 years and by Obaseki that also couldn't fixed the state roads for 8 years. When it comes to road infrastructure, Obaseki was a total disaster.
