BRATISLAVA: You get it.
Also, please refrain from replying the numbskull starzo. His stupidity is congenital. I actually thought as much..... that's why I ignored |
Crime › Re: I Helped Officer To Urinate In The Toilet and He attempted To Rape Me - Woman by kolagbemi(m): 8:39am On Oct 12, 2022 |
BRATISLAVA: But that's exactly the problem with the police officers story. It's clear to see that they are hiding him, because what she said is probably true.
Why is it that we can't hear what he says happened, and are only being treated to the assumption of their branch that it could be an erotic situation gone wrong? Didn't he write his own statement of what happened, too? Why is it that the said officer isn't speaking? Perhaps they are trying to bury his case and make him out as innocent. It looks less erotic and more of sexual assault. Because their approach to the matter is too lopsided. And worldwide the police are notorious liars when it's time to protect one of their own who has committed a crime.
Once it's insinuated that it was erotic, the majority of the audience has lost the plot—as the past few pages have shown. Just mention sex in a crime and Nigerians will suddenly claim it was an erotic meeting. As if all sex is consensual. Exactly, this is at least a likely sexual assault. |
Crime › Re: I Helped Officer To Urinate In The Toilet and He attempted To Rape Me - Woman by kolagbemi(m): 11:53pm On Oct 10, 2022 |
BRATISLAVA: Why don't you ask why it is that rather than releasing a statement from the accused officer, the spokesperson suddenly claims it was something erotic? The plaintiff has said her part, what about the accused? Isn't he part of the police force and shouldn't he be treated fairly by the police?
That's how the akwa ibom serial killer said his victim was having a good time of sex with him, and that she was so excited to do so that she told him to use a condom, and instantly all the men lost the plot. Nobody questioned why he murdered her. It was now an erotic case. The easiest escape route. Funny enough, if we should go by the erotic insinuation from the police, does she not reserve the right to say stop? If you say it's an erotic affairs gone wrong, it also means one party decided to back out hence the brutality and assault....if we decide to insinuate rather than hear from both sides of the story we should further go down the road. |

Starzo: She didn't mention any type of 'consent' wether before or after in her story.
She said she accompanied a grown man without any disability to the toilet to go 'ease' himself.
Hence the reaction from the majority of nairaland users.
You're the dunce looking for 'consent' in her statement to try and peg reasonable people as rape apologists.
You and that woman need your heads checked You see your life...this is why I say you guys are too intelligent...By the way you should go back home to collect manners, they forget to give you one, you will need it in public forum. |

Based on the intelligent nairaland majority, it means if a woman initially consent to a sex she can't withdraw the consent? Abi am i missing something? I hope some of you will be careful in reality. |

Good day guru in the house. Please i need your opinion on My Jetta 2.5 2006. I bought the car Tokunbo over 6months ago. I first noticed that the car goes off on motion after driving for like 3hrs.
My technician changed fuel pump 4times before it finally stopped.
Then a month or two later, i noticed my gear 3 selection is very hard.....it will delay few seconds when selecting from gear 2 to 3 Then enter with force.... force that sounds as if a car hit you behind.
My technician have service the gear no positive effect.
Now, gear 4 to 5 is now having same issue.
Note, the car select perfectly for the first 1hr of driving before this problem will start.
Please what could be the problem....my technician think i should buy new gear even when the scan detected no fault with gear. |

Dbegining: What law was broken?
I ask again sir, what law was broken?
The police are not to work or subjected to persecute according to moral standards or what they think is right or wrong.
They are to work with one thing only: the law.
If any known law was broken, I support the persecution but if they are acting this way just because they believe it is wrong, then they are totally wrong.
Now, I'll say two things: 1. Not everything that endanger the life of citizens is a crime. If it were so, all tobacco and cigarette producers should be in jail. Or All those involved in the exploration of oil ln Rivers State should also be in jail because of the soot. What counts is what aspect or part of the law was broken.
2. If this matter were to go to court (as petty as it is) the state will loose. Because there is no evidence that there was a fire or any thing that could spark a fire. And please don't even say generator. If generator was something that could spark a fire, there wouldn't be filling stations because Filling stations use generators.
Don't get emotional.
I didn't say "things that endanger the lives of citizens are not crimes" I said "not everything" And I say again, not everything.
What matters is the law. What should matter is the law(what it says concerning the subject matter)
And don't divert to smoking tobacco in certain places because it is actually a crime to smoke in certain places in Nigeria (even some big hotels)
But the real harm is not smoking it in a particular place but actually smoking it. No matter where the act is done.
Those guys that ban it in their buildings are just saying, "hey, don't smoke here, smoke somewhere else"
No2. The ban on petroleum was a very obnoxious law. Other states also banned last year but it hasn't been enforced. If it was being enforced, even you and I should have entered the police custody because of it and let me remind you, a law is only as good as when it's enforced. If not, it's not a law.
No3. Even though there is no evidence to the "apology" you said they gave, I'm not sure I'll be surprised if it's true. I mean have you ever had an encounter with the NPF? If not, I pray you don't. Even when you're right and on your right, you will still be the one saying "sorry" with money in your hands. So yeah, they must apologize. That doesn't mean their action was wrong.
Lastly, you still haven't shown me the part of the law that was broken exactly. Sorry for engaging you....I understand you better. Continue..... |

With this your logic, any action that did not directly cause harm isn't a crime.....then one wonders why you get booked for a traffic violation despite no accident occurred. Why should you get booked for drinking and driving when you didn't drive dangerously neither were you involved in an accident, after all, it's your money, your mouth and your stomach. Bro it's about the other citizens not just you alone. In other society tobacco production, smoking or Smokin at a wrong designated points are offence. Just the way tailgating, turning on a wrong lane are offences but your likes will call it "petty offence" yet you want naija to be like Dubai. Now, were you born when the government ban buying of fuel in a jerry can? That's one direct offence committed by them. I hope you will volunteer to go defend the offenders in court, you can asked them to withdraw the apology already tendered too. Try and learn |

Hello guys,
I just bought a Foreign used VW Jetta 2006 and I noticed some few things.
1. I have to start the car like 4-5times anytime i bought fuel. 2. While test driving it for a whole day before taking it for small body work on the Venda, the car went off like 5times on a motion. 3. I also noticed a white smoke that fade away after few minutes.
Any help with this problem and recommendations of a good Volkswagen technician in Abuja.
Also, please which Engine oil and transmission oil will you recommend. Thank you |

dadabashua1: a very difficult one for real...lol the saying tukubor is better than naija used no matter what, but this is corolla we talking about here, honestly its a hard one but if I'm in your shoes I will pick the corolla(assuming its in a GOOD condition), for a lot of reasons, like easy to maintain and fix(not major fixes like transmission or engine anyway lol) and the Nigerian craze for corolla so just in case the need arises to sell it off corolla will be easy to sell of with better returns, and the way every dick and harry can get it fixed,BUT the major issue with uncle Coro is the security issues, must be very careful due to high theft record, its just my opinion o,doesn't make it the best ,its up to you at the end. Thank you |

lagusboyyy: VW jetta is a German car,so obviously it will be more luxurious and solidly built, with better driving dynamics than the corolla,if you have a good technician that can handle it,then i will support you picking it.
But if not, just choose the known devil, because German cars need the utmost professionalism when handled, and that jetta sef no be joke, you have to pay so much attention to it,it wont tolerate the type of abuse that toyota will endure.
FOR LUXURY AND DOPE DRIVING EXPERIENCE: VW jetta.
FOR RELIABILITY AND NOT SO FUN DRIVING EXPERIENCE: Toyota corolla.
Best of luck in picking your choice. Thank you sir |
