jedisco: I have to say I'm extremely impressed by your analysis, quiet articulated and intelligent analysis. I have never done anything gambling and really don't like it. For over 5years I was seeing cryptocurrency as gambling. This week a friend gave me a brief...4days now, I couldn't sleep...research and research. I have to say God bless you guys on this forum. In less than 4days, I've invested 120k in Betece, eth, chainlink and XRP. I've lost 6k especially on eth..I bought at 1400, bought Betece at 35k. Nevertheless, I'm not scared to loosing money, I want to understand the market and I'm also prepare for long time investment. It seem loosing in this market happens to impatient people and people who emergencies forced out. God bless you guys. I'm following. I very interested in day trading or picking up profit from low and rise of prices, where is the best place to learn in addition to here. Thank you 8 Likes |
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Should I Go Back To Abuja Or Stay Back In Lokoja? by kolagbemi(m): 9:55am On Dec 25, 2020 |
Do you know that, not everyone that sleeps under bridge are homeless in the real sense, some have home in village or in their comfort zones. But they will rather chase after opportunity where opportunity abounds. You have to position yourself for opportunities. Does Lokoja gives you more opportunity than Abuja? Consider prospect over comfort....if you cannot meet up with rent....you can downgrade standard of living maybe from 1bedroom flat to selfcon or a room. You can move to an area you pay less on accommodation and change of environment is even good for someone like you because of network building is your main asset. My advice would be rough it in Abuja. God will answer you soon. Merry Christmas 1 Like |

KaluwisxPRO: Far from it, but I wouldn't want back and front with you. Ponder on this, how come the states did not replicate the Nigeria Army, The Road Safety among others...this agencies are solely control by the federal government and no state government can replicate it..... your point initially is that the Fire service is failing because FG is the sole controller and each state should have it's own fire department. |
Career / Re: Naptu2: Why Nigerians Need To Stop Attacking Firefighters by kolagbemi(m): 2:19pm On Sep 05, 2020 |
It's only in Nigeria that firemen are relegated and disrespected. Abroad they are heroes. Have you heard about the story of when the Queen Elizabeth came to Nigeria, and refused to come down from the plane because there is no Fire Service and emergency personnels. He refused to leave the airport with the mountains of the police and other security presence. Heard she told them it's the emergency personnels that are more important. Firemen enjoy huge discount on shopping or special recognition in planes and several other platform but in Nigeria we rather stone and beat them. Long way to go..... development is an upward change. We want to develop but want to remain and behave same way. |

KaluwisxPRO: Well, the reverse is the case. All state of the federation has its own fire service. The state fire service are the most ill equipped, and they are the one Nigerians are having more contact with. With the exception of Lagos State Fire Service and the FCT fire, they are nothing to write home about. Infact, haven't noticed the problem facing the states, the federal Fire service are the one now expanding to states and providing modern equipment and training to the states. The federal Fire Service is well equipped and with well trained personnel. See below present face of Federal fire service and equipments under President Buhari...for over 30years Fire Service was abandoned until Buhari happened in 2015.

smallsmall: This saying has never been correct and will never be correct... No firefighter will ever run to a fire scene with an empty tanks. It's an age long assumption that is now sounding true. Because a firefighter exhausted it's water before a fire was put off is not because it comes to the scene with empty tank. A fire truck can only carry a minimum water even when the tank look so big....the vehicle is an emergency vehicle that need good mobility, too much load reduce the timely response to an emergency. People therefore assume firefighter come to a Fire scene because the water brought to the scene was exhausted before the fire is put off. Several reasons can make the water finish before the fire is put off, the intensity of the fire determined the pressure requires to put off the fire, the more pressure/bar the faster a fire truck exhaust it's content. That's why there is a need for a close hydrants. In developed countries, for every fire call or response, there are several fire truck responding this eliminate possibility of abandoning a growing firefor refills. That's not the case in Nigeria until recently when President Buhari purchase new several modern trucks for Federal Fire service, in places like Abuja and Lagos we are beginning to see rapid response to fire incident with several Fire appliances on ground . Believe me, no fireman will risk going to a fire scene with an empty tanks, especially in Nigeria. Let's give it to PMB, he has begin a revolution in the service and Soon Nigerians in other states outside Lagos sand Abuja will begin to see a difference. |

Psalter: OP don't waste time and money...go to the High Court and get the LOA. No lawyer can help you bypass the LOA. A lawyer is suppose to know that the moment a bank request for a LOA, it means the mandate is both to sign, if it's for either to sign, they won't ask for LOA except if the staff that attend to you didn't check well. All you need to do is go to another branch of the bank, if you are told the same thing. Jejely go and get the LOA...only the probate Court will get you the money. Good luck |
Business / Re: How Much Do I Need To Register A Business Name With CAC? by kolagbemi(m): 2:19pm On Sep 01, 2020 |
realhovaps: LLC=LTD. LLC is a US version of LTD.... which both means a Limited Liability Company. Mine wasn't an LLC, you are advice to make use of the service of a lawyer for an LLC. Only an Unlimited Liability Company can be registered as a business name....this are Sole Proprietorship(one man business) or partnership. Mine was just an ordinary Business name registration |
Business / Re: How Much Do I Need To Register A Business Name With CAC? by kolagbemi(m): 12:31pm On Sep 01, 2020 |
Don't let anybody deceive you, you can conveniently register a "business name" by yourself. Remember "Business name is different from a limited liability company. You will need a lawyer to register a LTD company" but if your business is a sole proprietorship or an ordinary partnership, all you need is a "business name registration" and you don't need a lawyer except you wish to outsource it to them. Just got https://www.cac.gov.ng/ Click on "public search" and type the name of the company you wish to register to ensure the name is available. Check every name listed and see if a close name already exists, if not or it's a bit distinct from the listed, then go to the next option Online Registration, click on it and begin. CAC made the process very easy...ask questions or Google anything you do not understand. Don't be scared of "query" I got query during my registration and made corrections. I registered my own company. Good luck. 2 Likes 1 Share

Though he said he may not guarantee an accident free car but in the case of the Camry he guarantee a no accident car. I don't think an accident car is a bad idea as long is not a major accident or what do you guyz think. |

Gentlemen, Thank you for the wonderful help and analysis here. I need your help. This is my first car and with a salary of less than 150k. I am in need of a car with Durability to withstand 5hours of Uber/Bolt at my off duty in Abuja. I approached a dealer friend to help me get a Tokunbo corolla 06-07 but he's advising me to rather go for a Camry 07-09 that the price difference is less than 200k and that the Camry is more suitable and command more respect. He's saying Landing cost is 1.6m for corrolla and 1.8m for the Camry but my budget initially is bellow 1.5m. Assuming i am ready to spend 1.8m please do you advise i put such money to buy the Camry, which other car will you advice me to get. I love Lexus especially the E350 but I doubt if the car can withstand using it for Uber. Please i will appreciate suggestions putting in mind Price Maintenance Economy Durability and comfort - it will also serve as my private car for me and my wife. Please urgent before i go enter trouble. 1 Like |

They are called Famzhi limited, while we were in training he use to show me his interest monthly. The business idea look so strange to me up till now. DigitalMallam: Let me say i have read lots of negative feed back as regards this Keke business. At the beginning of 2019, i sat down and did projection on hire purchase and decided to try it out. I was Jobless for close to 2years and was desperate to do something. I got a loanof 2million and put everything into the business. I started mine on hire purchase plan in February 2019 with 3keke at 690k for purchase of New Bajaj and license registration. My experience is here in Kurudu/Nyanya area of Abuja and I deal only with Hausa guys. I had intention to involve Police and Lawyers at the beginning, also wanted to put comprehensive insurance, with health and life assurance for the hirers but I jettisoned them all one by one due to the fact that I was lucky with the drivers i got. Next month will be 1year since i begin, though it is not as smooth as i thought it would be, but it is not a bad venture. The Major obstacle to meet up with my projection was even me and not the business performance. I nearly finish my capital myself. I had a projection of ploughing the money back to acquire more as the repayment of 20k weekly are made and it hit a total amont to buy another one. The first 6months were perfect but then i started to deep and into the capital due to challenges from home front. I should have hit 10 keke by now but I have 6 keke instead. The hirers performance is close to 80%. One of the first 3 keke has missed just thrice (3weeks 60k) in all the one year. Another which is close to 8months now missed a week payment. Out of the 6keke only 2 are not doi g excellently well which I have retrieve Keke from them and give to another hirer. I don't call them, i have never had issue with any of them. In fact, one of them, I only saw him yesterday since I gave him keke since February 2019. He came to checkhis balance. That's my experience here in Abuja. The FCT administration is now limiting the activity of the keke which have now affected my going forward with it. I am now in the process of windingdown the business here. 4 Likes 1 Share |
