Adeolamikaay: That's being thoughtful but since your medium of study is English. You go and rough it... Have heard from friends schooling in Germany that he knows of people that don't hear much of German and are working. After all he was just a novice when he was going as well... So, it all depends on you sir and the decision you feel it's suiting and point of view. ahh i see, did he tell u how long it took for him to get a job after he arrived since? since he didnt know any word of german |

@deutsman and other brothers in the house, do we need german language proficiency to get a job in germany while studying? as my course will be delivered in english, i was advised to stay till summer application and learn some german as many employers in Germany demand for the language proficiency cert b4 employment , however, i cant seem to bear staying in this country, i feel irritated every second of my stay here. i plan to learn a bit here and continue in Germany |

boywonder225: yo! I made this mistake last year, apply for something else that will give you an admission on time. Those courses are restricted and they give admission letter very late. Like around October/November or so bro am only trying to go for a course in line with my previous bachelors degree, just so i wont be viewed as a non-genuine student or it doesnt matter if i apply for something different from previous course? please any suggestion for a course with quicker processing? i have a bachelors in public admin and local govt |

ladyb4sure: Uni-assist takes 3-4weeks to forward your details to Rhine-waal of which within 24-48hours you get login details to the university portal via mail. You have to wait additional one week for admission or rejection letter.
All the best ok thanks what course are you going to study |

Aerofly76: @Kolombo88 The website of Rhine waal should have the answer to that your testas question. Except someone here applied for your same course that can share his/her experience. However, I know that Rhine Waal requires Testas for their MSc in Mechanical engineering and it was clearly stated there. So read up on the requirements of that particular course of interest. I'm sure it will be there stated if required. Cheers thanks for ur response bro, am applying for a BA in international business admin, and theres nothing like testas as a requirement for the program |

brothers @badmus306 and dailydollar, thanks for your response, i've read some part of the thread, but i never thought its possible to gain a student visa without ties to home country, thats awesome and encouraging, can i confidently assume german student visa process is easier than countries like Australia, CA or the US? as we just need to attend interview alongside our AL and block acct evidence? |
Travel › Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 6 by Kolombo88: 4:05pm On Jun 04, 2019 |
Deustchemann: @bolded 1, at Goethe Institut, you'll spend 3 months per level. So, from A1, A2 to end of B1 will take you 9 months.
@bolded 2, for bachelors admission, you'll need either HND, completed 100L transcripts of a university program or a completed Bachelors degree to apply. You said you have a nursing diploma. I'll strongly advise you mail the course coordinator of any course you desire to apply to. Find courses at DAAD.de, you can also Google out the list of universities in Germany and open their website one after the other to check for their available bachelors courses. On those links, you'll see the mail address of the course coordinator. So you can send them a mail to confirm your eligibility.
@bolded3, other guys on the thread will give more input Cc Chriswazo, Fabcol, eldee, heybaby12, Philfit thanks for your response mate, i have now sent enquiries to various cordinators of two unis via daad.de for the bachelor of science/nursing/nursing management, hoping they reply soon. |

Godsgracee: Finally, visa has been approved after many weeks into lectures. I didn’t defer my admission as was suggested by elders here because doing so involves lots of processes which I’m not ready for now. To those expecting admission, appointments and visa I wish you all the best and success. congrats man how long did it take to get your grant after interview? and what documents did u show as ties to home country, i suppose you also did ur medicals before the interview. |

Deustchemann: That's like searching for a white rhinoceros.
Advices have been given 1. Learn German up to B2 level. Then apply for studienkolleg, and read read cos they say its kinda hard. Their medical courses there are solely taught in German. You'd be interacting with patients who don't speak English at all.. So how are you gonna treat them if you don't understand what they say? 2. If you insist on English taught nursing program, look towards USA and Canada. I think I've mentioned that to you before.
Incase you want more details on studying in Germany as you said you're a newbie, start reading the thread from page 1. You'll find a plethora of answered questions. thanks man, i'll have a read, please can i also pm you? |

Hello guys I just got a refusal on financial ground, I was told I needed to show about N24750000, as compared to 15million which i showed. I’m wondering if it’s an error on their side as my course is for 3 years, I’m meant to understand that we can only show funds for a year since the visa grant is only for a year. I need help on this, as I intend to reapply. Thanks |

femijck: Medical is sent directly to INZ by you panel doctor.... most of the time you don’t get to see it except if there is a significant finding. If u can wait, If u choose to wait, u will get your e- medical number Which u can include in your form, if not, don’t worry the panel doctor will send your result with a copy of your passport data page and often with your application number if u already have one before doing your medicals Thanks for the response man |
