The world knows Harland is a goal machine and one of the best finisher the world of football has ever witnessed but you don’t have to take anything away from Osimhen, he always gives his all and plays his heart out with passion whenever he is on the field of play. If he is not scoring much, not because he is missing all chances that comes his way but simply because he doesn’t gets much chances to score.
You are contradicting yourself and yet pouring out accolades at the same time , it's not making much sense.

Anthony martial played well and his team lost to manu.
Okocha pkayed well sgainst Denmark in france 98 and we lost 4 1.
It is logical if you play well and your team looses.football is a team game.
A midfielder can create 5 clear cut chances of which only one is converted and gisbteam couldbloose 3 1.
Football is a team gane. Tgis toit ligic is flawed
I actually disagree with regards to the bold.

Playing well is intrinsically linked to the result, you can't hide from it.

When you get flogged 6-3 you can't have played by very well, otherwise you wouldn't have lost the game, it's simple.

My response was in regards to the infantile exaggeration made with regards to Nwakali. It was stated he had " played wonderfully" but somehow his team lost 3-1 but he was exceptional.

That's a load of balderdash and codswallop.

Anguissa was EPL, he also played for Villareal on loan and did well.
Tomori was an EPL player. Elliott and Carvalho were astounding youth team players with whom it was only a matter of time, you will find those anywhere. All the players you have mentioned had some top level experience but were playing in the championship due to circumstance and/or choice.
Tomori was a Chelsea youth player not given any opportunities.

He went to several clubs without any impact including Hull where he played alongside Aina. I watched them several times up close and personal.

Aina was outstanding arguably best Wing back in the Championship at that time. However, Fikayo was at best very average and not impressive.

However, next season he went Derby county and began playing as a CB. He improved exponentially, possibly best CB in the Championship. I called then, for his immediate selection to the SE, even told a few in the NFF.

The rest is history after that he got into Chelsea first team and from there to AC Milan and England call up. But it all started in the Championship.

Kelechi Nwakali and Abbas Ibrahim both had wonderful midfield showings today. Details later.

Nwakali's club lost by the way.

Abbas' club drew.
How can you have a wonderful match when your team lost 3-1.

I guess when it comes to Nwakali all the rules change and goal posts are moved in my making assessments.

Come on bro you can't compare a local grassroots academy to Liverpools academy!! Haha

Fulham have a scheme called the Fulham pathways program. It is from that scheme they select players for their academy. Most players in the Fulham pathways program are trained by other grassroot academies. That's what I am on about. We are in the pathways.
No one thinks you are an insensitive conceited Buffoon. Just annoying with your comments sometimes and I think you do it deliberately.

If you're in the Fulham area let's meet for a pint.
I don't know any grass roots football academies, I know grass root football teams we don't normally call them academies.

When you said "academy training" you didn't say grass roots , so what do you expect me to think.

And yes glad to meet up .

don't forget haaland and akanji came straight from "same quality as the championship" bundesliga. Don't forget
So also, did Ivan, Tomori, Carvalho, Elliott, Watkins, Tega, Eze, Olise, Ssegnon, etc, etc come direct from the Championship.

The Championship must have astounding quality look at how many players have gone from the Championship to become too players in the top five League in Europe.

Anguissa from Fulham to Napoli, Jude Billingham from Birmingham to Borussia ( arguably best young midfielder in the world) Arnaut Danjuma from Bournemouth to Villa Real to name just a few.

How can Manchester United be getting flogged like children, 5-1 at the 67th minute.

how komekn couldn't even recognize the pitch since it's a Fulham affiliated club in the same London is confusing

Now that you have something to do with Fulham maybe you might know komekn because he is a scout/ reporter/ coach with Fulham

But komekn that I know will avoid you since you work with Fulham This is your fellow Londoner who works with Fulham.
I live in the North West of England in the catchment areas of Liverpool and Manchester as well as Leeds.

Most premier League clubs will have a network of over 300 scouts across England Europe and the Americas.

Trying to know all the coaches in the club is possible but highly unlikely. However, getting to know all the foundation and development coaches at different age groups and multiple locations near impossible.

Its a training u9's match so what facilities were you expecting to see? Lol

My son is in a local academy where we live in South West London and I am one of the coaches. It has links to the Fulham foundation, their training ground is walking distance from my house and my son has trained there too since he was 4!! My nephew is same age and is actually signed up to the foundation.

This was one of his awards a couple of seasons ago after one of the games with poor facilities. grin

We are Chelsea fans and also go to Stamford bridge together at least a few times every season and Nigeria games too when they're in London. I have added pics of us at Stamford bridge last season and Wembley for Nigeria v England. wink

When you say in England we this and that, fyi I have lived in London for almost 30 years!! More than 3 quarters of my life.
Forgive me like forgiveness.

You used the term academy training .

That in itself creates a plethora of assumptions, about facilities, infrastructure, coaching staff, environment, etc. Thats my understanding of a football academy.

I feel no reason to put my football CV on this forum , I don't need this forum to give me accreditation.

All Cat 1 academies have several age group foundation and development squads for players considered to be potential players for the academy. But are not based in the academy they visit on occasion but are not signed Academy players.

With regards to Fulham you should know Malcolm Elias head of recruitment , he is long standing professional associate.

I was at Liverpool FC this morning, l was talking with a African player who will leave in January. I also went to the academy indoor arena, where the U6/7 players train during weekdays.

I didn't want to bore you with pictures of near 20 different flat grass pitches for the academy plus a football arena where the U18 + Train.

But for those who do not know it gives some insight and prevents anybody from thinking I am an insensitive conceited Buffoon.

Once again congratulations to you and your son, we may come across each other. For instance I'll be at a youth tournament in Faro towards the end of the month .

Academy training....
Forgive me.

But the facilities look very poor.

Patchy pitches, no facilities in clear view, just surrounded by trees and one goal post .

In England we have categories of academies for instance EPL academies will all be cat 1, followed by a good number of Championship teams. .

I am going to watch a game a EPL this morning, If l were to take pictures you would understand , what I mean.

But congratulations on your son, it's a very long walk, waking up , going to training and matches in the cold and rain. He looks like U6, If he does well and be outstanding at U12 he can easily get picked up. Although with goalkeepers it can be very challenging, because it's only one position.

Take faith and BELIEVE it will happen.

Soap go soon clear for our eye. Let's be debating which league a player plays in instead of what the said player brings to the fore. How much have we really benefitted from the league a player plays in. Na so we do and truncated Onyekuru. Yall say Super Eagles is not a place to revive people's career. That's why there is no continuity and consolidation. Once a new rave of the moment comes along, we discard the old. Flash in the pans.

The Era of Mikel, Victoria and Enyeama is long gone. Wake up and smell the burukutu. Let's stop being sentimental to Utopia that will not come. If na so Westerhof and Bonfrere do, nobody go hear about them today.
Onyekuru was always suspect able to make it in a less competitive league but unable to make the step up. Add to that injury has not been his friend, he has now dropped to Turkish league.

The league you play in has a direct correlation with your quality not entirely conclusive. But it cannot be dismissed.

When a players excells in lower league he will get offers to move up. When he remains there is a reason.

We don't seem to talk about Noni Madueke, English U21 player.

He is not a hype, he is not a flash in the pan player, he is not struggling to get a team. He is on the wanted list of several top clubs.

Yes he is an England youth international but unless he becomes the next Pogba in the EPL when he arrives. He has a lot of competition to get into the Three Lions.

Playing for the SE may become an option albeit not his first . But there are several top midfielders all waiting in line to claim a position.

The entire narrative is based assumption , that there is a legal framework that empowers two offices to issue license for fire arms, the IG and NSA .

That is executive convention and traditional practice it's not the legal framework. It's a traditional inheritance of military rule and executive excess.

These assumptive executive powers are not underpinned law enshrined in the constitution.

The power to create state police is not at the behest of the Presidency.

Coach Komekn, you don't always have to be serious about these matters. cheesy grin. Ofcourse no argument here. But yet you guys need to come home on some of these issues. Most of the players you are mentioning are Uk-born, they usually have a head start. At worst they get to play in league 1, if they are barely average. On the other hand average players coming from home don't have immediate access to such opportunities. Most of them have to be above average(with some luck) in their age bracket to break through. If i can get an average player at home, why go all the way to spain. You have to be at least good for me to consider you. It's the reason i insist he's not that good a player. I don't venture into money issues. This life no balance.
Bruv you are very gravely MISTAKEN.

Will give you some questions to ponder and rethink your proposition.

1. 43% of all players in the EPL are BME ( Black and ethnic minority)
2. Only one BME player is a team captain.
3. How many black players are Football Managers in the EPL, Championship, and all the professional league in England maybe 3/4.
4. How many black individuals are Directors of EPL academy , don't know any maybe 1or 2 or even none.

And you still think it's very easy for black players to make it.

His previous team ended his contract in April couldn't wait to get rid of him.

On the subject of money .

What do you think will happen when you get a quality manager like Ten Hag, Benitez, Brendan, Mourinho, etc

First of all he will not be controlled by my guy Amaju, and all the side deals that NFF do with their preferred players and agents will STOP.

The basis for selection will be consistent outstanding top level performance not favouritism from self and conflicting interests.

But we got a guy that will dance to the tune of the NFF , we looked for loyalty to individuals not competence and quality.

Now we are all up in arms.
