TheGoodJoe:
Please, the people at FIFA who decided to opt for the MRI scan due to its high accuracy, read far more peered review articles on this matter than you can even imagine. One of your biggest challenges is that you run with the little you know on a topic and think you know it all.
Can you even phantom the number of medical professionals that work with FIFA? The number of medical consultants etc.
Just chill please, you can not disprove the accuracy of the MRI scan. The MRI scan is 100% accurate but the data that underpins the deduction of bone fusion is NOT. And if you do not know. Educate yourself subscribe to an academic journal Portal. Otherwise you will think you know but you do not. |

You are doing as if the discussion was not all centred around academic articles. Do you understand the implications of a peer reviewed publication. It's not hearsay , it's not opinionated or preferential schmaltzy but empirical research. I have nothing more to say. |

Stop playing games. We have discussed this at length. You are well schooled on the accuracy of the MRI Scan. If you deny it, you are not deceiving anyone. I substantiated my position not with an opinion but with a published paper in established academic journal. So unless you have a published paper then not sure who you are schooling. |

Also I never said the uzoho is older nor of the same age with the guy I got the info from but stating that for the guy to be 32 already that uzoho logically should be also in his early 30s or late 20s
Many here hv made claims of how ex international and current footballers cheats when it comes to age so why the sudden twist of tongue? He isn’t the first to indulge in such practice and won’t be the last
I wonder how many the npfl player who secured a move to the Swedish league and was mocked for being an age cheat hv sued since then

I am not saying it's right, but the end justifies the means. The obsessive linkage between age and monetary value for football players is institutional.
African players are at a blatant disadvantage and this is one of the means to mitigate against this practice and give yourself a fighting chance..
Thats not to say age cheating is right. But age discrimination across the board with a good dose of racism, are also catalysts to the issue.
However, sometimes we African over do it.
I was at youth game for Manchester city FC , and there were two Congolese born players playing in the U13. They were destroying everybody.
They claimed to be 11but were bigger stronger than anybody else but in my opinion very minimum age they could be was 15 and even 16/17 very likely.
They will go far but when those English boys of 13 grow at 16 then that advantage will have been reduced if not overtaken. But at this stage they will already be in the system and even if they don't make first team.
These two Congolese boys might end up in the Championship getting £20k a week for the next 10 years, so it's still a successful career. |

charlesemeka85: uzoho is above 30. I knw a guy who attended the same secondary school with him and was his class mate. The guy is 32 already so uzoho should be close to 30 or in his early 30s We have a prevalent culture in our country, of denying the truth and or the probability of truth. Even when we know the TRUTH. Age cheating is an intrinsic part of our daily life, people working in government ministries and department regularly change their birth documentation to extend service time and avoid retirement. Many men have married and or dated women older than them , without knowing. These popular terms official, football and or Nollywood age reflect the practice. We do not have automatic birth capture data, so we rely on the integrity of people in a country where integrity is not considered an attribute. We rely on sworn declaration of age, etc . We know our politicians falsify their ages , Jagaban is 70 but his daughter is 60. I've been to a quite a few local football academies in Nigeria. The response I get 99% of the time , when I ask for a players age is always, "how old do you want him to be" not he is, 16, 18 or 19. I understand the reasoning, I don't blame anybody. Value has an intrinsic relationship with age. If you reduce your age from 22 to 16 you may have the opportunity for a very lucrative football career. That can be the difference literally between life and death. That dynamic can change not just your immediate family but extended family life opportunities. MRI Scan gives you an age that you cannot be in relation to bone fusion. But bone fusion is relative to several factors nutrition, health , environment, race, etc So its highly possible that your bones have not fused due to malnutrition at 20/21. You can scientifically claim to be 15/16 by virtue of the MRI . HOWEVER, if your bones have already fused then you are simply not under 17 you could be 20 - 24, nobody will know. MRI cannot specifically tell you your exact age. I am not speaking with assumption, l had this discussion with a head of radiography at a university teaching hospital. But as for Uzo, I beg leave matter we are not blind , Dude is an Agidi. |

The highest number of goals by a Nigerian striker in the french league but you still went ahead to say he wasn't up to par compared to others. Please give it a rest and just own your bias with your chest. My comments were strictly in the context of him not being good enough for Chelsea. Chelsea will in general buy World class strikers and or top forward players who are at the peak of their game in club and league. That is the context and comparison was made with past and present strikers Chelsea has bought compared to Moffi. In this regard he is simply not good enough. In 2021/22 Moffi was in the top 40 with just 8 goals, that is essentially, 1 year 6 month's ago
In 2020/21 he scored a total of 14 goals he was among the top 11 goal scorers. He is currently on 8 goals this season which is very good. My opinion remains the same he is not good enough for Chelsea. But it seems you have presented a complete distortion of facts and information to underpin your false narrative. But why ❓❓

charlesemeka85: Premier League Hall of Famer reveals how Tella's move to Burnley came about English Premier League Hall of Famer Vincent Kompany, who now coaches Burnley, has explained how Nathan Tella's move to the Clarets came about. In search of regular game time, the Super Eagles hopeful joined Burnley on a season-long loan from Southampton on August 11. Tella has exceeded expectations since his arrival at Turf Moor with five goals in eleven appearances. The former Arsenal schoolboy helped Burnley extend their unbeaten run to ten games in the Championship on Saturday, scoring the game-winning goal in a 1-0 road win over Coventry City. Kompany is very pleased with the signing of Tella and admitted that he was monitoring the progress of Tella for quite a while before getting the deal over the line.
Speaking on his pursuit of Tella, the Belgian coach said at his post-match press conference after the win vs Coventry City : "It was an opportunity given to us by some good contacts.
"He was a player I liked and followed for a long time. "As soon as I heard there might be an opportunity to help him with game time, I made an immediate phone call". Kompany continued : "When you have a player who plays with a smile on his face it usually tells you everything, he has a spring in his step and thinks he can do anything at the moment and we don't want to stop that. He is a great lad around the dressing room. "We know we don't technically own the contract long term he has blended in as though he is going to be here for the next five or six years "I don't take his attitude for granted, he comes in every day and is doing well and not changing habits." Burnley, who are targeting an immediate return to the Premier League, are fourth in the table with 22 points, two less than Sheffield United who lead the way after thirteen matches in the Championship Have your noticed how the team squad has completely changed at Burnley. Since the arrival of Kompany. This is a club I am very familiar with and under Dyche it was simply blatantly and shamelessly white washed. And this was driven by the Dyche, if you were black you would not get in. I know a player released at 16 by Burnley who has now at 19 played one first team game for Liverpool. Of course that player was Black. |

And it was interesting to see Wolves U21 get flogged and spanked like small children by Liverpool FC U21 5-0.
I was shocked, this is the team that got narrowly beaten 2-1 by Villa Real B who are above mid table in the Segundo division.
Liverpool FC will play Accrington Stanley on the 18th October. They will get beat in my opinion , this is a league one team at the lower end of the league one table., |

Danielnino00: Awazeim has spent the better half of his career playing in the Portuguese, Spanish and French leagues... Those aren't obscure leagues... His problem is more of a lack of good agent or maybe lack of ambition.. He could have signed for Nantes permanently but they couldn't meet his valuation...
So,if leagues like Croatia doesn't meet your validation of "small league" perhaps you could give us a clarification of your definition of the term..Won't be surprised if it's limited to the English football space..
Your takes on certain issues are well known to be inconsistent... You are embellishing his attributes and over stating his qualities. He played how many seasons in the youth team of Porto B and got 10 consolation games for the first team. After excelling in French league 1 , he was rewarded with a esteemed move to the retirement league of Turkish football to the exceptional team of Caykur Rizespor. He did so well him and his fellow CB partner in the SE were rewarded with a great move to La Liga in a relegation bound Leganes. They were promptly sent to the poor quality Segundo division at the end of the season. From there to a relegation courting Boavista and after that back to the retirement league of Turkish football and now in Croatia. I'm sorry to burst your bubble that's a journeyman career it is not a reflection of quality. He has been generally anonymous every where he has been. Let's be honest and sincere, if not for undue favouritism should he even be in the SE. Even with all the SE packaging his career has not progressed. |
