Nigeriafirstlad:How will I go home this Christmas, I don't have a helicopter. |
Amedino99:You don't select yourself for national team selection. At best you may make private communicationd you wait to be approached. Because it's not just a footballing decision Samson Siasia and Salisu have shown there is more to what we see. |
Meliforme:He was in the shop window in Frebch league one had one season end of the season nobody interested. He had to descend to Turkey . It has been downhill since |
V.O. is now top of the goal scoring chart in Seria A, two good games including a hat trick and he is top dog. Excellent progession. It's not easy but he has done it, the season is young can he keep it up. Then that big move to , who knows Real, Barca, Man U. etc will come in , let's see. |
BannedLarge:He has had only one good season at Leicester city in 2020/21 he was among the top 14 goals scorers with 12 goals, that's very good but not World class. He has returned to his mediocre self one again. |
Meliforme:So why has his career always been on a downward spiral ❓ Culminating in him playing in the backwaters of Europe in Croatia. |
fabyom:Thank you |
Righteousness2:Mr Righteousness one question ❓there is man who was a King that God described as " A man after my own heart" indeed the lineage of Christ can be traced through him. Of which Christ is often called , " Son of David" How many wives and concubines did he have please❓ The nation of Israel, God's chosen was birthed from two wives and two concubines, God's plan, what say you ❓❓ When was polygamy proscribed and or made unlawful, please dont use conjecture or assumptive probability ❓❓❓ When you have established these by purity of scripture then substantiate SIN in this regard , if you can ❓❓❓❓ If you know the word of God you cannot be decieved. However, if you don't, then you are already DECIEVED you just don't know it . |
daveP:Make way and play in the EPL a very big YES , but to THRIVE he will need more. Thrive in the context of a top 5 goal scorer in the EPL at the end of each season. With regards to the bold , V.O. is yet to exceed expectations in Seria A , in what is his now third season. Unless you want to do unnecessary praise singing and over hype. |
TheGoodJoe:You keep using your perception which is already prejudiced. Where did I say V.O. will struggle, I said if he is to THRIVE he will have to improve. |
gatecrash123:He has scored 90 EPL goals in the premier League over near 260 games over 11 seasons, he has never been among the top 5 goal scorers in the EPL in his career. Indeed his last 5 season in the EPL have been Largely anonymous, maybe you have a different definition for world class. What's your definition of world class please that may help to understand our differing positions |
TheGoodJoe:Here we go again , your perception is not my position. Because I don't get all emotively euphoric about your favourite player does not mean, I have DOWNGRADED him . I don't do praise singing thats your department. Because I refuse to join your V.O. choir doesn't mean negative disposition towards your idol. Get a grip stop acting up and misrepresentating matters to suit your parochial one track narrative. And anyone who doesn't agree is your enemy of progress. Sychophancy and praise singing will not help a player, but constructive even harsh criticism will. I did not say no big club will sign him , if you go back I used the term THRIVE. It's one thing to join a big club it's another to thrive. |
AndSunGorilla:So much shege, he got a hatrick and three assists. |
daveP:You are being assumptive, I did not use one game to make any conclusion, CHAI ! ! ! Football is like psychology there are more probabilities than conclusions albeit informed probabilities. This is why last seasons super star can be this season flop. Consider Sanchez outstanding at Arsenal a big flop at United. But I deviate, l looked at V.O. attributes that have given him great success so far. I reiterate, pace, blind determined relentless raging attack. He is physical but not overly ,( wouldn't call him a muscle head) good aerial ability and finishing. However , guile, trickery sublime skill and technical ability are not his attributes. The EPL is extremely fast and physical much more so than Seria A, French league one and the Belgium league. For him to thrive at a top 5 EPL club he will need more. He is well known now, do you know that clubs have access to hours of footage of individual players and they prepare meticulously covering every detail. It's quite normal for individual players to go analysts and say give me 2 hours on V.O. My view is simplistic , which is what he experienced in his two games against Liverpool is a precursor to what he will find week in week out playing in the EPL. But with greater expectations, as a top goal scorer from Seria A. |
Odunayaw:Go back to the school of civility and until you do. You will be given the best answer SILENCE |
gatecrash123:Sorry to burst your bubble Giroud has never and probably will never be a world class footballer. Unless you have a very low threshold for what you call World class . |
TheGoodJoe:Please some degree of objectivity and maturity. Once again you deviate from the subject matter , what has Manchester city Academy got to do with subject we are discussing ❓ Actually it's two games against Liverpool without scoring. You are too presumptuous, I aligned V.O. attributes and l skill sets to the demands of the EPL and the top level teams he should be associated with. Not just on game. Before this current discourse , I talked about the teams he would be most suited too. So my view did not start a few days ago . I will tell you in football one exceptional game will get you noticed and two will be get you offers and by the third you can probably get a pre- contract agreement. It works vice versa , if you have been hyped to the heavens and you have an average game it will be considered a poor game, if in the second game you don't improve bids are off and interest dies. Football is characterized by short term decisions. |
Odunayaw:I guess you have a great view because that's where your head is right up your own petrid orifice. Once again I feel sorry you, your inability to engage in any sort of civil substantive discourse always sees you resort to your comfort zone, the rancid gutter. |
skallion7:Very apt thats what your brain is full of . I sympathize with you , it's too much for you to dissect and appraise and highlight faults and or error in deductions. |
TheGoodJoe:You never stick to specifics you evade the subject and create a new narrative to suit your sentiment based notions. I pointed out specifically that V.O. got schooled, bullied, out muscled and out paced in this game against Liverpool CB Van Dyke and Konate. This is the nature of the EPL not all defenders will be like those two. But that's the level he needs to contend with to be a top player in the EPL. Consider the bold stop being infantile and misrepresentating facts. Let me remind you , many years ago when V.O.was at Wolfsburg this is what I said at that TIME. He would not get past the selection requirements for a top academy in the EPL and that included some championship academies at the TIME. I advised that he should drop to Bundisliga 2 and or a less competitive league where his skill sets will be better developed and reinvent himself and then move up. He seemingly took my advice because that's exactly what he did. V.O. is very direct but guile, trickery, sublime skill I would not say he has. But speed undoubtedly, relentless determined unbridled rage a big YES. His physicality has improved over the years but he is not an overly physical player like Haaland, Lukaku, Mitrovic, etc Stop getting overly emotional, because I dont get euphoric about players you are obsessive about. |
Emmy450:In looking at a player you look at how well his attributes will adapt to your team ethos, unique character and strategy. I am looking at the top EPL teams not the Liecester City level of teams who probably cannot afford to buy V.O. He will be looked at by the top 6 teams in the EPL not the mid to struggling teams. And for the top level expectations are different as well as standards. Finally last week spent a few days looking at PSG youth team at tournament in Portugal. And the skill sets are different, shockingly the U14 to U19 set of players are almost all black African. So my view is not completely English biased. Although BREXIT has created new challenges for us . |
TheGoodJoe:Once again in your emotions get the better of you. What's the fastest and most physical league as well as competitive league in the world, The EPL. Haaland is an enigma with a skill set that is made for the EPL , he is a true number 9. He can even be more physical in the EPL than the Bundisliga. In addition I've never seen a 6"5' player with his acceleration. I didn't make any deduction, just that V.O. will require more to succeed in the EPL. He has played two games against a not on top of their game Liverpool and failed to score. But that's not particularly relevant, it was the way he got checked, bodied and locked by a Konate that was interesting. V.O. is the most aggressive, relentlessly determined, hot headed with rage I know. However, Konate just poured ice cold water on him and he couldn't do much. Those attributes that have given him great success in Seria A and French one may not be enough in the EPL. That's objective appraisal not emotive preference and favouritism. To use your proposition of sentiment, Saka, Martinelli, Mitrovic, Awoniyi , Sancho, Rashford have all scored against against Liverpool. Why not therefore Haaland and V.O. All these players used guile, trickery , technique and skill and with Awoniyi plain good luck to score. These are not the attributes of V.O. he needs to find another way IF he wants to thrive in the EPL. |
Since the Liverpool Vs Napoli match there has been be a deafening silence that is bewildering and quite surprising. But then again considering the unbridled favouritism our V.O. gets here it should be expected. Nonetheless, this was supposed to be the game our world class striker, Monster striker V.O. announced himself to the world as well as to potential EPL suitors. But it didn't happen, he failed the test . Instead there has been an outpouring of emotive sentiment based rhetoric. Some being by those best described as TheSuperDelusional as they are suggesting he was continuously fouled and unfairly treated. Admittance of failure is the beginning of success it's the basis of constructive criticism. You are then able to address gaps in your skill sets and strategy and improve. But instead many are blaming the weather, unfair referees, the bright red Liverpool strip, etc. The EPL is the most competitive, fastest and physically exerting football league in the world. What works in Seria A may not necessarily work in the EPL. V.O. is no longer an unknown quantity, he is not unknown he is one of the main focal points for Napoli attack. Liverpool would have gone through hours of footage of Osimhen and studied him in depth. His strengths and weaknesses. In addition Liverpool FC have been having a torrid time in the EPL this season, they are off the mark standing 9th in the league table with even Fulham above them. They needed this win and would be like a wounded Lion . They return of Konate absolutely vital to them as well. In summary V.O. got out muscled , out paced and got bodied all over the pitch, he couldn't get one shot off on target. Konate had him locked down and Vsmndykr put pad lock on the gate. Actually he actually did most of the fouls on Konate and resorted to desperate measures including simulation. This would be a good learning experience if taken in the right context critically, for V.O. to up his game As opposed to what most are saying here.

Odunayaw:You also are befuddled with emotive negative bias and are unable to reason objectively. What happens to any football player that leaves a lower quality and less competitive league to a much higher one❓ In this case, from the Belgium league rated 13th to the EPL rated number 1 in Europe. But in addition he performed above expectations. As a consequence his general rating and value went much higher, this is what happens in football. Did you expect Dennis rating to go down Your are eviscerating the substance upon which football appraisal is anchored upon and replaced it with a nonsensical proposition without any iota of substance. You need help, bad belle is making you sick, jumped on a sinking ship proposition in your bitter prejudice. |
Philosopher1979:Dude is anonymous in low level league and has absolutely no business being in the SE. |
Danielnino00:Your prejudice had befuddled your mind and entire sense of reasoning. Where do l start to try and reason with the unreasonable. Dem say , " Who deh follow craze man deh argue , himself deh craze. You have agreed with me and then you condemn my position. I think you are confused. |
Toylove:He drives a Rolls Royce Culinan like to party has issues and is no longer committed to his career IMO. Doesn't have a stable family background and he has lllost his way . |
Ppogbae:Agreed he needs a professional sports scientist to get him some muscle without compromising his pace and agility. He has over the years put on a lot more muscle , when he first started he was very lightweight. |
Danielnino00:If you can be honest , put Dennis in that Villarreal team and what do you think his stats will be. Or if you like vice versa with Chukwueze in Forest. My opinion remains the same Dennis is a lot better. |
AndSunGorilla:Dude talk better thing . I've substantiated my opinion on that the league is poor . |
Danielnino00:Chukwueze is not better than Dennis and is a player with limitations can only play as an outright winger not much else. How many goals has he scored this season ? Dennis is far more versatile and a much better goal threat. |
LordReed:You live in a vacuum and have no idea , what you are talking about. The socio dynamic deconstruction of normality to include abnormal depravity as normality. Has changed the pillars upon which society has rested for thousands of years. In modem times they criminalised the critical appraisal of this deviant behaviour. Even the diction is condemnatory , i.e. homophobia which in itself prevent any criticism. In the UK your 12 your old child can declare himself or herself as gay , lesbian or identify with a different gender from birth. If you are to challenge that behaviour you will be prosecuted for child abuse and your child taken into state care. With your parental rights extinguished into vapor. So don't tell me nonsense about USA not creating laws to force people into LGBT. In the UK the legal age for sexual activity is 16 but you cam change your gender at 12 and your sexual preference. Thar's simply hypocritical bigoted MADNESS. The Nigerian government should create harsher laws to sanction the promotion and advocacy of this sick disgusting perversion. |
