chrisooblog:Aribo's call up was well before he joined Rangers,he was already invited and had been in consideration by Rohr and the NFF for over a year. Rangers had their first game in the 2019/20 season in Scottish premier League on the 4th of August 2019, that's the day the season started. It was also Aribo's first game in the SPL . Aribo had just played 4 games in the Scottish premier League before he played for the SE on the 10th September 2019. Are you suggesting that after just 4 games he was therefore invited to the SE❓. You know that's not TRUE. |
Kog45:Then if that's the case what happened to Isaac Success. |
chrisooblog:I am not hear to make a moral judgement. But the issue is , the pertinent question❓❓ , does this in any way affect affect their ability to perform at the highest level. Sleeping with your wife or girlfriend or Escort it's a question of perspective. Having a bout of bedmatics may actually help a player to relax and focus on the game and overcome stress and nervousness. And one thing for sure, it will enhance his ability to get a really good night's relaxing sleep before a very important game. |
safarigirl:Poverty can strip you of many things, but it will eventually come down to CHOICE. But it poverty can also motivate you to succeed and overcome AGAINST all odds. It will build character and resilience as you strive to overcome. Sometimes having it too easy can make you spineless, and have a warped sense of value, conceited, selfish and inconsiderate. Such people become perverse in thier dealings with everyday people. This year I was in an Nigeria for 7 months over three trips. To keep myself in perspective, l go to see some friends who live in abacha ( kpacko houses with sheets of tarpaulin) , in Lekki. There are zero facilities. But the people live in extremities, some choose crime, some choose righteousness, some hold on to thier dignity in the midst of extreme poverty. But it helps me to keep myself in perspective. People have said to me why❓ ( they are not in your socio economic strata) I learn humility and appreciation from them, and life values. |
Napoleon55:Sorry dude your talking balderdash. You know how many top world class players use the services of Olosho as well as have side chicks. Neymar, Balotelli, Ronaldo, Rooney, Benzema, Raheem, Kyle, etc, etc the list is absolutely endless. Many are a lot more discreet about it. |
humility33:I absolutely do not rate the Swedish league as a quality league. It is rated at about 14 just below the Turkish league. Yes according to you, I have never rated , Ighalo, Etebo, Victor Moses, Yobo, Mikel, etc, etc |
Danielnino00:Sorry typo will modify to Midfielder. He made is SE call up from English League one, and has remained outstanding in the SE to date. |
TheGoodJoe:I was talking about our Nigerian origin home based football coaches from the NFF. |
ABIODUN105:It is of no consequence to me, because context is the issue for me. Every Nigerian national coach I have known has always wanted and even demanded women. Even in the UK it was something when they arrive to see players , it was almost normal to organise an Escort to entertain him. I must say Amaju is not like that. |
Danielnino00:In that deduction you have failed COMPREHENSIVELY. Because one of our most outstanding midfielders essentially came from English league one and went straight into the SE and scored on his debut, was simply outstanding and has remained so to date . That player is Joe Aribo. Finally, everything with Amoo is speculation he might not go much beyond that level , we simply do not know. But when and if he does, then his selection will be based on objectivity, consistent outstanding performance in his club. Not sentiment based preference. |
Napoleon55:Agreed without question and or any reservation. |
safarigirl:I agree and disagree, but its not so simplistic. You can be from a very poor family and yet still have strong values standards , uncompromising discipline and be diligent in all that you do. There is need to understand that the moral and cultural norms and values in the west don't always align themselves with Afrocentric one's. Having indiscretions with Females is not in my opinion an act of gross indiscipline. We should not use media based sensationalism to make objective and balanced judgements. One man's minor indiscretion becomes another man's wild near fantasy based orgy. If most men had just 1/10 of the temptations that these young boys face , from scheming , shameless and manipulative females. Then they would do a lot worse even the so called pastor among them. I am talking from first hand experience and of things that will never get into the media. Because you give money to older poorer siblings even your parents. If there is strong family structure with focused leading parents who have integrity, honour and righteousness as uncompromising family values, whether monogamous or polygamous. Cannot in itself lead to misplaced priority and misbehaviour on the part of the football player. I know of highly indisciplined hooligans , literally never do wells. Who came from the most elite families in Nigeria when l was at university. Sons and daughters of governors, Major Generals and Billionaires some were drunkard's , cultists, rapist's, drug heads. For instance, not every girl that comes from a poor family that has put herself and body up for sale. In conclusion, poverty is not the singular Foundation for indiscipline and poor behaviour. IMO |
do4luv14:You are calling Akinkunmi Ayobami Amoo a player who has played one season in lower level league to come straight to the SE. It seems like many here you get all emotive about former U17 youth players and think that the attributes of youth football performance can easily be transferred to the senior game. Quality outstanding and consistent does not hide, if he is that good he will be in a much better league next season. He plays it seems more as a winger and from watching a few clips , I would not rate him better or even anywhere near as good as any of our existing wingers. For me it's a non sentimental capital NO. |
andrewbaba44:Agreed without question. We are talking physicality and brutish aggression not pace , Zlatan Ibrahimovic will mash up Rudiger. I should add also that Zlatan has a black belt in Taekwando. |
MetalJigsaw:Quality ascends it doesn't descend. Both of them played for an inconsequential team in La Liga, they were not outstanding and not unexpected they were relegated to the very poor to quality Segunda Division. Awaziem was so outstanding he found himself in the lowly rated Turkish league and Omeruah remains anonymous in the Segunda Division with Leganes. Leganes are currently romancing with relegation with him. And yes Ekong has been far from outstanding I would describe him as basic functional. However, put the both of Omeruah and Awaziem in the EPL ( no club would probably even consider it) and they be would both be out of thier depth. Considering that Omeruah played 6/7 year's ago in the Championship and nobody even considered him for a championship transfer, talk less of the EPL. That says it all, add to that he is now much much older, football age or not. He would be a liability . There is a failing in the NFF we should really have recruited and or given opportunity to better CB's doing much better or showing promise. |
forgiveness:The pertinent question is , WHAT WILL GIVE DENNIS THE GREATEST CAREER BOOST ❓❓❓ Becoming the highest goal scorer in the AFCON.❔ Or scoring 20+ goals in the EPL ❔ For me it's very clear , ascdency in the EPL will see him move into another level. |
kikuyu1:What you do in Training is what you are most likely to do in a real life situation. Your training will determine your actions in reality. That's why in training it's made as realistic as possible with no be detail left out. |
When you read claims and counter claims by our security services on this incident in Yobe. One is literally left speechless. The depth of deceit, misinformation and disinformation from supposed high standing armed forces institutions, is SHOCKING. Can we really believe anything these institutions say ❓it's a sad day ,they the NPF have confirmed what we either already know or have suspected . |
darkelf:It may seemingly have passed you by football has moved on. And the terms winger and striker are no longer as restricted or used as abdolute descriptive terms in football. The more modern, up to date and encompassing term is " Forward Player". In this regard we may find the roles are interchangeable and evolve in real time as the game is played. For this reason, Ronaldo , Salah , Mane, Neymar , Mbappe, are all forward players who play a duplicity of forward roles. But simplified in the one term forward player. These are the modern day forwards, play maker, winger, Striker etc, all rolled into one. This requires a different skill set, even learning curve. Which is exceptional skill and technicality, football intelligence, strength and speed with versatility. In this regard I rate "Dennis" much higher than any other forward player in Nigeria. He is the numero One in the HERE and NOW, where Nigeria is concerned. He has found a club, league and Manager that has given him direction, focus and upped his applicable skill set for outstanding performance. Considering Osimhen horrific injury , I would ask him not to compete in the AFCON if l was his adviser. I would also advise Dennis not to either, he is on an uoward trend going to the AFCON may see that trajectory lost. He did not need National team selection to forward his career. He needs to keep his momentum not loose it and or his place in the Watford team by going to the AFCON. If Dennis continues on this consistent outstanding performance in the EPL he will be worth £50 million ➕ at the end of the season. Going to AFCON will not help him. I remember when Yobo sacrificed his place at Everton to go the AFCON and things were never the same for him. He was benched and Jagielka took his place and his relationship with Moyes went sour at the time. |
andrewbaba44:Agreed without question. He is outstanding for Watford he is effectively in the HERE and NOW our best striker. |
bidexiii:Serious stuff 50 Cal. Sniper Rifle , with Thermal night optic sight. It looks like the British AS50 made by Accuracy International UK. This rifle is very effective in the hands of a trained operator, 1.5km accuracy assured. That means that at 1km away you can put one round into the engine block of a technical ( HMG carrying soft and skinned pick up truck) and Engine is KAPUT, it's going nowhere. An incendiary round into the cabin and all the Boko combatants are toasted. You really don't need to be calling for air support. However, l don't think we seem to employ this tactic. It was very common among British marines in Afghanistan and Iraq. |
bidexiii:Our people can be funny. Obligatory AK47 in covered vegetation not necessarily rain forest but with sunglasses and using steel sights (not even up) l guess for some it looks impressive. |
DubaiLandLord1:Selective war against corruption. Who is fooling who ![]() |
Aufbauh:Consider the bold . Particularly where Nigerian women are concerned that particular proposition cover about 90% of women. * Women marry in Nigeria essentially for money. * Girlfriends are concerned with money * Prostitute are just HONEST & UPFRONT about the £ * Runs girls just want money £$€too. * Church girls are fasting, casting and binding for a man with money ££$$€€ According to the UN 20%+ Of children in Nigeria have father's who are not thier biological father's. What's behind the deception £££ $$$ €€€. |
drDoom3:Agreed without question. For most players already playing in top leagues and clubs. Playing in the AFCON will add no value WHATSOEVER to thier career progression. The absurdity of the situation is that CAF have created a situation that actually depreciates player value and makes AFCON players to become a liability to the club. If CAF do not change the schedule, this competition will become a non event and star players will opt not to play in it . |
SamuelAnyawu:The rate at which ISWAP ,Boko and others seem to able to drive in supposedly contested areas in convoys of technicals. Is great cause for concern. The NA seem to be static in their FOB, and other bases. We don't have spatial awareness in these areas. On the other hand ISWAP BOKO are just running wild outside of our static bases. Boko and ISWAP have been testing and probing the defences of the Maiduguri metropolis for year's. We are repelling continuousy not seeking, overtaking, annihilating and obliterating the enemy. For him never to return again. |
Stormtrooper11:This particular discussion is of no consequence. F7 are essentially Chinese copy cat engineering of the Mig 21 albeit on this occasion under licence. The super turbo props A29 can have external fuel pods if needed, they can be taken off and or put on depending on needs. Again it's superficial irrelevance. Nothing to get heated and argue about. There are far more important pressing issues to discuss |
Guyman02:This is an aberration of the Law. Navy rules are not law and at no time can they supercede the Law ⚖️. Navy rules and by regulations are binding on Navy personnel as long as they don't contradict the law. The Navy has no legal jurisdiction to carry out detention on the basis of a criminal breach of the law. What we have is LAWLESSNESS X LAWLESSNESS , using military uniforms as a prop for entertainment Films/ comedy doesnt constitute a criminal offence. Many of our knuckle head officer's have failed to realise that we are no longer in a military dictatorship. The Nigerian state has not been subjected to military rule for over 22 years. You would like to assume the military are aware of this ,but it seems not. |
Angy55:You cannot be conclusive. Because among the Usobo names are not completely homogeneous. We have different dialects which are not necessarily a reflection of different ethnicity or tribal heritage. The term Usobo is from the colonial times which was used to describe the ethnic group which we now call Uhrobo and Isoko. Later on Isoko LGA during colonial times was called Eastern Uhrobo district. I am an average man from Isoko south UNDILUTED and UNADULTERATED. And I don't have the attributes you have to described. And none of my friends from lsoko LGA North and South ,who went to similar Russell group universities as myself, have those behaviours. The Father's of my Isoko friends, who are university dons both in the UK and Nigeria as well as high flying business people , some are even hedge fund managers. They do not adopt or ascribe to this type of regressive behaviour. Maybe you need to look at yourself. The say , " Show me your friends and l will tell you WHO YOU ARE" Maybe you need to change your friends ❓❓ |
Ammishaddai:When a text is taken out of context it becomes a CON (deception) the pertinent diction is MULTIPLY or MANY depending on which translation you decide to use. That in no way makes the marrying of more than one wife proscribed. Consider Israel was birthed from two wives and two concubines. The Biblical concept of concubine will bring greater light to those who actually read ,study and then meditate on the word of God. |
Ammishaddai:Can you expand what makes it Satanic, PLEASE 14 likes that means you know something, l do not in know. |
solonnachi:We are talking the SE Senior national team. It's not a place unproven youth players like Destiny and l can't see how you can you invite Sadiq when there is a plethora of players who are well ahead of him. |
