andrewbaba44:I always knew with Marco Bielsa Leeds were always going to come to the EPL very well prepared. |
Omanambala:Just the same way l have been wishing Etebo, Ighalo, Iwobi, Ndidi, Obagoal, Musa, Mikel, Azeez, Awoniyi, etc, etc. You are very wise and show your intelligence with your objective and balanced view. |
realpoacher:First of all Iwobi has shown good quality consistency in the last 5 consecutive seasons in the EPL arguably the best league in the World according Bleachereprot . What has Nwakali done in the past 5 years It is an INSULT to compare Nwakali to Iwobi. |
kellycute:I would not call it on the rise. He made little or no contribution to the promotion of Huesca to La Liga, so there is no rise an individual player. Second thing the Segunda División is poor quality and not a good benchmark for quality. He has done nothing beyond being mediocre for the past give years. Looking at the team composition they look like immediate relegation material. |
Eberechi Eze has entered EPL debut |
realpoacher:If you do the homework l will answer the question comprehensively. Make a comparison of the team composition of Huesca and Fulham FC. Players to players by pedigree, value and ratings. |
elunico:You use the description " hype " can you expand. Because thats the first problem. You cannot describe they hype given to KC, Osimhen and Nwakali to any kind of description placed on Tega Onomah. His team got flogged today by a much better resurgent Arsenal under Mikel Arteta. I thought his team including himself gave a very good account of themselves in the first half in their first game back in the EPL. Second half they lost it but they never resorted to do or die, kick and rush tactics. They played with their limitations. They lack good quality proven forward players to bring the game to Arsenal. I am looking forward to their next games. Meanwhile l am excited about Southampton again Crystal Palace two teams that are more or less on the same level. And yes my eyes will be on Eberechi to see how he makes the step up today. I am expecting a goal from him he will have room to express himself today. |
Omanambala:I commend you for your blatant bigoted prejudice. Thankfully your opinion has no influence whatsoever. |
jihday:To underpin my response to somebody else. If Nwakali struggled to get into a Porto B team, why would he then walk into a much more competitive Fulham first team and why will he even make the Fulham B team that's the U23. Without prejudice. |
BascoVanVeli:Well your " No matter What" has already been proven to be TOTALLY WRONG. Tega started and he did not. This is the EPL it's not about aimlessly dribbling without end product and it is also about work rate to defend and close down. |
benji93:Absolutely playing good quality technical football may look very pleasing to the eye. Without real quality forward players, you are going to struggle. And that is Fulham they absolutely need at least 2/3 more proven quality forward players . Burnley and Sheffield United have found a way to battle and grind out results from average players. Look at the quality on the Arsenal bench, Fulham are totally outclassed. |
TheSuperNerd:Wow !!! you are comparing Nwakali to Tega Onomah. That is like darkness to light. Nwakali will not make the academy team talk less of the first team. |
ChrisKels:Tega plays more box to box in general. Check out the number of interceptions and tackles he makes, and then turns the play from defence to attack. Unfortunately Fulham have just one quality striker and that is Mitrovic recovering from injury. So their game plan is about containment not out and out attack. Tega has been a key player for Fulham in this game undoubtedly. But they are now in the latter stages of the game and are getting tired after being pulled left and right by Arsenal. I NEVER expected Fulham to win this game not even get a draw. Just wanted them to play good quality football and not get slaughtered. |
lloydtruth:You are playing a resurgent Arsenal with arguably the best Striker in the EPL Aubmeyang and you want to be dribbling around and loosing possession. Fulham are loosing 3-0 not unexpected but they are in damage limitation. Midfielders are more concerned with containing the attacks of Arsenal it's their first game in the EPL. |
Christology:He is not good enough and they would not waist money on a liability. |
tbaba1234:The Benchmark is the EPL not cup games against sometimes very low quality opposition it gives a false impression. You don't have a right to play you earn the right to play by what you do in training and games, he has NEVER done enough. He does not deserve a place in the SE. |
Karlovich:It depends on what is good. But he spends way too much time being injured. |
Edopesin:Tega na jaguda, Warri no deh carry last. Although I expect Fulham too loose, the new left back for Fulham is a player that has an interesting story "Jedi" |
Meanwhile l will be watching Fulham and Arsenal with a keen eye to see our boys potential and existing. I remember years ago Fulham football academy was called the Nigerians there were so many Nigerian boys there then. |
sheyishemba:Once the arrival of Tega, Ovie, Tosin and Eze then matters will change. |
Edopesin:Thank you very much 100% correct. Big money big expectations this is the reality of football. |
Philosopher1979:You make a devious dichotomy between players born in Nigeria and brought up in Nigeria with players brought up and or born abroad. But you do it like there is a HOSTILE CONTENTION between them, is that your perception There is not one EPL academy that doesn't have a good number of Nigerian origin players. And that is from age 5/6 onwards. There are some EPL academies that have up to 40 Nigeria origin players. I am at this early stage seeing the next set of England U15-17 players and i was looking at players from U12. Some have already got personal endorsements from sports manufacturing companies. And yes there are Nigerians among them. So you should STOP this regressive negative bias and prejudice, you are creating another form of TRIBALISM. Move out of the dark ages into the light. |
Danielnino00:Iheanacho is classed as home grown via youth set up as well as outstanding talent. Ndidi most outstanding player in Belguim league. Success l just don't know, but look deeper into the ownership of Watford and his former team by the one family. And there is room to manuveur. |
sheyishemba:I have been watching Sone Aluko to see if he can still cut it. |
tbaba1234:He has been having an abysmal start if the truth must be told. No window dressing. 5 goals in EPL after 20 games in the 2019/20 an improvement on 2018 /19 season where he scored 1 goal after 30 games. But in the general scheme of things very poor for a £25 million striker. It's a reflection of a lack of quality strikers in the SE that's why KC is still in consideration. Because outside of Ighalo and Osimhen we don't have any quality strikers. |
BascoVanVeli:I know many will jump to thier antagonistic views with my comments. I said before that pre season games are just warm up games that nobody takes overly serious. Particularly with opposition from the 4 tier of Italian football. The real test as I said months ago will be when he plays in a team. Where he Victor is not the focus and where the game plan is no longer centred on him alone. Seria A is not French league. Italian league is tactically and technically superior to the French league, pace alone will not be enough, he is going to have to learn quick improve and adapt his game. I have not given Victor all these premature over stated accolades. My view is if he can score 10/12 goals he would have done well enough. But the expectations of the huge transfer fee may require a lot more from the fans and the coaching staff. |
TheSuperNerd: EVASION It's apparently obvious for once YOU HAVE NOTHING TO SAY. What was the subject matter? the Segunda División is very poor in all respects and the quality of players very poor. My proposition was very clear, a club earning promotion from a poor 2nd tier league does not automatically mean the team has become higher quality. To be objective and without prejudice a comparison has to be made. La Liga is the best league in the World arguably. So let's compare the Segunda División to the Championship. To ascertain that supposed progressive quality. I have given two comparative units of measurement to make an objective deduction upon. 1. A comparison of the entire Segunda División transfer expenditure to just the expenditure of Fulham FC. 2. Comparison of mid table Stoke FC. Showing just one team in the Segunda División that can match just 25% of the quality of players in their squads in a like for like comparison, player to player. That should end the discussion. |
Karlovich:Every time l hear about this player the word injury is not far from the discussion. |
jargooflife912:Work permit rules are not tied to cost but appearances with national team and FIFA national team rating. |
TheSuperNerd: You have EVADED the question completely and started a new narrative to suit your own narrative. You just cannot help yourself. Everything you are saying is subjective and perceptive and concludes with the assumptive. Which football style is better and more effective is open to debate. Even if my personal preference is for technical football. I have seen Mourinho use kick and rush with the long ball to beat Barcelona and Liverpool in teams he has managed. BUT THAT'S NOT THE QUESTION. If a league is poor quality and a team wins promotion to La Liga. The team does not automatically therefore become quality. I asked you to make a comparison of the team composition of Stoke City FC. A mid table Championship team and make a comparison of Huesca team. Player to players, quality players, the actual transfer expenditure cost of players. We can then have an idea of the quality of the league. It's the quality of players in a league that determine it's quality not just the name. Please don't deviate, it's a very a simplistic comparison. I once asked that someone to compare the players transfer expenditure made by just Fulham FC and compare it to the entire a Segunda División expenditure on players transfers coming into the league. These are very objective based units of measurement that bring us to a more substantive appreciation as opposed to an assumptive emotive led inference |
FieldMarshall06:Can you kindly repeat the FACTS that have underpinned your conclusion. Please educate me, it's not sufficient to just say " someone who had facts" That's very superficial and lacking in substance. |
FieldMarshall06:I don't have facts but circumstantial facts to underpin my opinion. For Pro Force to participate in international trade fairs, they absolutely have to meet international standards assessment. So the ARA is able to achieve STANAG level 4. I do not think, correct me if l am wrong, but it seems the Ezugwu had not been subjected to independent international inspection. So my view is that the ARA is considerably superior. |
