quickberry:This particular media source is not the most reliable and or reputable. With regards to Ibe that was settled years ago NOT INTERESTED. I did explain in detail at the time. |
ChrisKels: A persons perception is a reflection of the person. What your eyes see is what is inside of you. BUT WHY ❓ ❓ There is anger and deep seated BITTERNESS in your response. How could you come to such deductions. I have nothing to say beyond get rid of the bitterness that you carry. Because nobody is carrying it with you but yourself. After all the various informative as well as fun filled sometimes comedic interactions we have had here. You have not CHANGED but remain the SAME. CHANGE is the antidote required to progress. Bitterness and rancour is like cancer they don't do us any good indeed they end up destroying us. I have no more to say but leave you with some quotes of wisdom. I could use Biblical but l don't know if you are a Christian and therefore that would be arrogantly presumptuous.

ChrisKels:We are largely anonymous on this thread. For some that means l can say anything l like without any sense of right or wrong. I take the view that one will have to give account for his words and if l loose anonymity, would I be ashamed of those words. Certainly not. For me this forum is largely light hearted entertainment and banter. I do not take anything that serious. Absolutely nobody can offend me because l don't take offence. For that reason you will never see me use vitriolic acidic rhetoric and abusive language to anybody. That is true even in my personal capacity. I may use very diplomatic language and long drawn out diction to say someone lacks common sense and or more. But abuse a big capital No. Nonetheless, over the years our words are recorded whether they are lies or truth. They say something about us. They paint a picture about us. In my professional capacity l am always 95% of the time the only black person. I come across ignorance and blatant discriminatory racism very often. My response is to show those ignorant racists overwhelmingly consideration and love. To a point they become ashamed of thier ways and begin to see me and other black people in completely different light. It means that l can not get bitter from the bitter racism l am shown. It's actually biblical. But back to you. I do not lack discernment to see the spirit behind most of your comments and the nature of them. However, I choose not too be like you and not reciprocate. I can not anyway, because it's simply not in my nature. We know as a man thinketh so he is. To the pure all things are pure and to the impure everyone and everything is impure. So what you perceive is not neccesarily a truth but a reflection of yourself. I was born in UK but made in Warri. I spoke in comedic tongue and cheek language specifically Warri pidgin, in light hearted banter. I am almost certain Edopesin, andrewbaba44 and Joebie will bear me witness. However, when ChrisKels responded giving his address. I remember our Warri saying "na joke joke, people deh take talk true". Maybe he really needs some help I thought I thought too remove any stigma let me gather the forum to eat along with him albeit of us together, albeit it Virtually. l truly was looking forward too it. The spirt here is brotherly love and consideration in jokingly way, not insult and abuse (as you somehow have alleged) You called me to honour my words. I then gave you a proviso, that you should take a picture so we can all join in and eat with you AGREED. Indeed a quite a few people were looking forward to the event, again in light hearted fun. But you have spoiled it. But now you have shown a lack of of truth integrity, honour and even civility. You can't cover unrighteousness, lies and deceit with a supposed good deed. It would have been better you took the money and explained say tings tight oh bros , l decided to cook one pot of Oha soup and show us, everyone will understand, even hail u join. But what you have done here hmmm is simply not RIGHT, after calling me to honour my words.

Humility017:You sure say u go uniben ❓ Maybe you did but I doubt if you are from Edo or Delta states. Or you ever lived there. Because your understanding of the Edo and Delta pidgin is seriously seriously questionable. You seem not understand the terminology and meaning and dramatic comedic impact or if you like tongue in cheek. I am sure Edopesin and Joebie can definitely school you. You have totally misconstrued my words and substance in the pidgin that was used to convey the message. |
BascoVanVeli:When Ibori offered the former chair of the EFCC a cash bribe of $16 million dollars. What happened NOTHING. Delta state government shamelessly trieste even claim it as giver funds. But it would result in multiple self indictmentd. So the money has remained thier. Although l will not be shocked if it has been given back to him through the backdoor. This is after all NIGERIA. |
charlesemeka85:With regard to the bullish Amokachi it's really is the case of the very deep rooted blackest pot calling the kettle black. |
BascoVanVeli:You are taking like someone that doesn't understand the Nigerian situation. Over the years some of the highest placed public official have been caught in outright stealing and corruption in all ramifications. But what happened to them❓ NOTHING We have had IG's over the past years found to be totally corrupt. But what happened. The Current COAS Buratai and his $ million + flat in Dubai as well as other issues. What happened, NOTHING. Look at Ganduje caught red handed what happened NUTTIN. Look.at my former governor IBORI acquitted on all counts of corruption in Nigeria. But pleads guilty to almost identical charges in the UK before even going to trial in the UK.He went prison. Then return to Nigeria and is welcomed like he just won the Noble peace prize. But welcomed by ex governors sitting Senators and former president's essentially the high and mighty of the political class in Nigeria. Corruption is entrenched endemic and acceptable in Nigeria at the highest levels. And has been since independence and prior. |
Subzero047:Your statement is birthed entirely by yourself and your own perception. Explain how you think Chuks will be the most high profile player in Nice❓ |
daveP:Agreed without reservation or question |
Subzero047:In what way please |
safarigirl:Nice waiting to hear more. |
Subzero047:Dude wake up smell the coffee, which team is going to build its team around a youthful player who is just starting and is not by any means the most outstanding player in La Liga. You more than most should know that, dont allow sentiment to carry you away to dreamland. |
Humility017:LOL like dat actually i don send d money within the hour he dropped his account details. So na the pizza i deh wait too see |
andrewbaba44:That is a very weak way too look at it, club performance Aribo did not have any real top class club experience to underpin his call up, but he immediately seized and claimed jersey.Once you get into the SE forget club he who performs takes the position particularly when there is no underhanded politics going on. Look at one my more favoured players in the SE Etebo, Warri gra gra boy, gbeghe wager, I actually 100% expected him to become the next Ngole Kante after a small time playing for Stoke in the Championship, such were my hopes for him. He has been arguably our best midfielder in quite a few games. But he struggled to gain a footing in the Championship and make any mark in that league, i have often said the Championship is a very physically taxing league that requires special ability to play technical football. Particularly when you are surrounded by carpenters. Meanwhile Ovie, Eze are way ahead of him in all aspects by club performance. I Cant even say conclusively that he was much better than struggling Tega Onomah. Yet he remains undoubtedly a very good player for the SE put Ovie and Eze in that team and that assumption could be seriously tested. |
Subzero047:I believe him 100% and he will have other stories but doesn't want to open the big rotten can of worms. I could give many stories and i mean many that i have witnessed and some that a number of Nigerian internationals have told me past and present then i could add the experiences of European agents have told me about. |
Curtisaxel7:There are two approaches to this phenomenon if you like, one is a very light hearted one that emanates from the social dynamics and in a sense reverse racism as is exemplified by CurtisAxel7 questions. I will write two different posts and this is just to give it a bit of context. Then you get into the historical as well as contemporary socio -cultural dynamics of counter establishment movements that some call revolutionary and other the perversion and immoral break down of societal norms and values. That’s very academic and can result in multiple academic based research papers and intellectual dispositions. But without any consensus agreement and or conclusions. Essentially the more you look, the more you see and the less you understand. That’s the kind of dialogue that Rabzy opens with his question. I will really approach it from a perspective of personal experience and my Afrocentric heritage as well as my Eurocentric appreciation by birth and interaction professional and social. When I was in Nigeria, I had my cousins who were mixed race who we had lived in close proximity when we were in the UK. As a consequence, on return to Nigeria we were very close, we were always hanging out. At age 14 we were all driving our parent’s cars and going to places we really had no business going to at that age. Which brought us into contact with lots of females. Uniben was one of our places of interest. There was then an obsessive, incomprehensible, mind boggling and shameless fixation sexual and otherwise with mixed race kids (SafariGirl) may be able to explain because I cannot. I remember when we would get to if I’m right Hall 1, I immediately became a GHOST, none of the females could see me. But were falling over themselves like dogs on heat to get closer to my cousins. Meanwhile I was an invisible spectator. That was then; As we reach England, matter change THE HUNTED became the discarded and the invisible became the much more desirable visible. Before we proceed there are some very distinct differences between the dynamics of relationships in the Nigerian context between men and women and in general European women and men. First thing most European women are not hungry and are seeking personal fulfillment by way of companionship and in addition blow my mind and my head off and scatter my brain bedroom athletics. And as such an illiterate brick layer with muscles in his head and an 8 pack alludes to that promise add to the fact that he is black and its bingo. So having a PHd, X6 and triplet sized pregnancy beer belle will give you no Kudos. On the other hand i find the vast majority probably 75% of women in the Nigerian context are looking for £££$$$ and that always remains a central theme in my experience all the time, even unto marriage. |
I deh wait oh Were I go send the ££ go, or hungry no deh blow u again. Were U deh? Food is ready |
rabzy:I will reply to this comprehensively later in the day, you will not be suprised to know that many of these forgotten children have father's who are VERY HIGHLY PLACED. Some find thier hidden escapades somewhat embarrassing. |
ChrisKels:Good morning Nwokem. No SHAKIN food is ready, Please send me your account details and it's on the way the way. One proviso " You must take a picture of the Pizza for everyone to see. Not a picture of yourself just the steaming hot Pizza. So everyone can enjoy it with you albeit virtually. |
daveP:Sorry to say Siasa fall my hand, itself he hand no clean. But then which person hand clean for NFA. |
Joebie:No be today he start deh declare himself as a Warri boy. He expressed his intent even when he was playing U21 essentially years ago. I did say that donkeys ago here. With Yobo for ground tings deh Change. |
ChrisKels:Unfortunately l tried even over the phone they refused. Screen shot below is self explanatory. The barbecue chicken and Beef suya Chairman pizza is only 9k for both of them. Unless I go send you money.
|
ChrisKels:Where is the nearest Domino's to your location❓ |
junnyjake:I gave you a number of questions to answer you have not been able answer yes to one. I can, as a result I don't solely rely on the press. |
[quote author=Subzero047 post=89320360]Chinedu Obasi recounts his experiences of being asked to pay before being invited to the national team the context of Nigeria unfortunately irrespective of the endeavour, you can never rule out the overriding pecuniary self interest. The way of Egunje. These are the things that have discouraged a number of Nigerian origin players abroad that have been approached the wrong way. Hopefully, with Yobo a lot that will now STOP. |
ChrisKels: Red flag to a very angry and hungry bull. See how you charge at me Chei. Bruv Eéeeeeee be like say alarm deh blow u serious ting, u neva chop breakfast. Dem no deh take shame chop poison, tell me your location l go order Domino for you, yes the one for " the chairman " Then you go Kool down. |
Toju200:I have had the discussion over a long period giving a multi faceted approach with solutions. You can go back to my posts. The more l look at the $600 package detail the more l see we have been ripped. But it's a corporate thing and some people are laughing all the way to thier offshore banks. Unfortunately this not unique to Nigeria it happens across the world and yes in the West particularly in the USA and UK with all kind of payments under disguised headings. The UK fraud squad was able to trace £7.6 billion in corrupt payments from the Saudi Arabian arms deals to UK officials that included Tony Blair. That investigation was summarily ended abruptly in the name of national security. BAE systems have had a long standing sinking account to meet the pecuniary interests of the various international government officials it deals with. |
bidexiii:Israel wants peace but prepares very strongly for War to ensure the peace. |
rka2:Your NAF statement is not a statement of fact but of projection. To say cost effective then you have to have a parameter by comparison to make that conclusion. But you have none, what is your inference based on❓ Then the other observation amounts to convoluted overstatement of primary purpose. Particularly with the addition of advanced combat flight training. This is an overpriced turboprop it's not a combat jet advanced flight trainer. Indeed every aircraft can be used for flight training it's just a question of how you choose to use it.. How long does it take to get a civilian flight licence for a turboprop with the USA FAA. If you have the time and money and depending on your CFI and your own ability two weeks more or less. This is a forum it's not an academic think tank. Nonetheless, there has to be more than just supposition based on perception. There should be a substantive definitive base line data that we can underpin our preferences and deductions upon. We should question not accept, we should appraise and balance not just believe. Otherwise we run the risk of becoming noise making deceitful politicians. And loose the substantive informative core of what the forum should be. Although not yourself but many take offence at opinions different than thier own. Then get all sanctimonious and acrimonious with infantile vitriolic rhetoric. But why ❓ |
junnyjake:Do you know him❓ have you spoken to him❓Do you know the Liverpool scouts involved in getting him into Liverpool. Where you around when that catastrophic arrangement was set up to in London to supposedly select players for Nigeria U17. Unless you can say yes to all that you are relying on media hearsay and beer parlour gossip |
Bolowolowo:Where did you get that from. This boy now man is a Liverpool born black i.e. LBB an A typical scouser. By the way he knows his Dad very well he is a mixed race ( half-cast) and unfortunately a dead beat alcoholic. Liverpool has a very deep historical relationship with the Nigerian south. In my estimation 65% of all mixed race children have Nigerian fathers. So if you have anybody that worked for the old NNSL and had been in Liverpool it's likely he has some forgotten children. Years ago l nearly started an NGO to link the lost children to thier Nigerian Fathers. I had and have and still do link quite a few of them to thier Nigerian fathers. |
andrewbaba44:Sorry sorry football is about taking your opportunities and taking advantage of them. “ I say luck is when an opportunity comes along and you're prepared for it.” Denzel Washington. We have heard the good word about being prepared in season and out of season. UNFORTUNATELY in life not the most deserving get the opportunity. This is the reality of life. I am very dismissive, indignant and intolerant to players coming out of Nigeria, who considering the multi faceted challenges we face just to live in that country including extreme poverty. Add to that the desperate loving expectations of parents and family. Get to Europe and become indisciplined and loose focus. In this regard l have to commend Victor Osimhen after being rejected in Europe by multiple clubs he still fought and fought like a man possessed he refused to be defeated. That is CHARACTER. He as single handedly dragged his family if not generation out of poverty. The rest is history. Talent only get you so far but diligence, determination, drive and FAITH will overcome so called talent. In most cases it's not the most talented players that make it but those who combine DILIGENCE with talent succeed. And because this is a very short term career youth is intrinsically linked to progression. And if you haven't used it well then you have failed yourself. That's why l have little time for Success and Nwakali. |
