Can we all agree that the African Nation with the most in-form players is Nigeria smiley
I support my country Nigeria.

But that doesn't mean l loose objectivity.

In this regard look at Senegal and tell me we have better players than they do.

it will linger for a long time because nothing presently is being done to solve this problem now and in the future....

the leaders/political robbers pay less attention to education, poverty alleviation programs, birth control etc. ..
currently we have over 10million amajiri kids who are not in school...but roaming around with plates...

none of the political class took the educational policy introduced by GEJ for this kids serious..... the former governor of Niger State even claim that almajiri part of their culture....
and recently Rev. Fr. kukah wanted initiate a means to see this kids feeding and education it was grossly resisted probably because of fear of them being converted to Christianity and all....

you can simply project the future by can taking a close and objective look at the happenings now.
It's tribalistic regionalism to label one area in sweeping blanket statement lazy and backward.

Ita also comical that these supposed lazy, backward and uneducated people. Have been running the country and have effective created a defacto dictatorship.

While we consider ourselves so intelligent and wise. Who is fooling whohuhhuh

Finally, I have never in all my many years in Nigeria seen such a blatant unbridled attack on our democracy. With the Sowore saga.

The DSS have become like the official thugs of the ruling party. Desecration of the court and then assuming we are all big fools denying they even entered the court.

I think our democratic experiment is now officially a JOKE.

And you say we are WISE

I hope iheanacho ends up scoring more epl goals than nicolas pepe at the end of the season

Pepe should score 12 epl goals unless i will confirm him a flop for this season

Some arsenal fans here wont have it easy with me, especially those ones that usually diss iwobi
KC is improving and the more he plays the more he will improve.

However, playing the adventurous system Leicester did against Villa is tactical by the Manager. And a reflection of how they see Villa.

I doubt if they would play that same system against a stronger EPL team.

ndidi came as a replacement. but if Bonaventure make a move to either Leceister or Manchester United, he will have to struggle for playing time.
He's not going to be first choice at those clubs and he may end up being a bench warmer.

Leicester have upped thier game with the arrival of Brendan.

Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr and his employers - the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) may have opened another chapter of contention over player's selection.

NFF president Amaju Pinnick has been making effort to convince Queens Park Rangers midfielder Eberechi Eze to pledge his international allegiance to Nigeria.

While that effort has not yielded a result, Rohr has sighted someone else, a midfielder, who could easily agree to play for the Super Eagles.

His name is Ovie Ejaria, signed to Liverpool, but currently on loan at Reading.

The 22-year-old midfielder who is valued at £1m has shown versatility under Mark Bowen at the Madejski Stadium and Rohr is keen to add the Liverpool player to his squad.

“He’s (Ovie Ejaria) a good player no doubt and I will prefer him in the team now than the player (Eberechi Eze) the Federation are in talks with,” Rohr revealed.

“We will contact him and know what must be done to make him play for us. He is a better player than Eze.

“My fears are if we start chasing him in the media, England may join the race and it could be difficult.”

Pinnick met with Eze in London last month in a bid to lure the 21-year-old to switch allegiance to Nigeria but he requested for the chance to continue to focus on his club career which is going well so far.
Wise words and a far better approach to player recruitment.

This is what sensible and focused managers do. lts no longer speculation you can see that his approach and requirements are different from the NFF.

That's the problem of the NFF pursuing different agendas.

Aston wants Iheanacho, and suddenly he gets his first start? Against who? Same Villa? hmm just hope Komekn was wrong, bkus this is looking like a marketing strategy, to me.
I said something about KC and his first game in the EPL. As usual I got the normal dogs abuse.

Below a screenshot which says something.

When a Manager wants a player BADLY what does he do to get him.

They normally give up player they don't neccesarily want anymore and or value.

You can now speculate from a position of knowledge.

Queens Park Rangers attacking midfielder Ebere Eze is enjoying his best goalscoring season as a professional, with his double in yesterday's win against Preston North End taking his tally to 9 goals in 20 starts in the EFL Championship.

Only six players have scored more than the Eze in the English second-tier this season, namely Mitrović (Fulaham, 15 goals), Bowen (Hull City, 14), Watkins (Brentford, 12), Ahearne-Grant (Huddersfield, 11), Fletcher (Sheffield Wednesday, 10) and Grabban (Nottingham Forest, 10).

QPR manager Mark Warburton noted that his number 10 is exceptional with the ball but pointed out that the England U21 international must improve without the ball to be a complete player.

''You see Ebere’s quality with the ball and I want to keep working on his quality without the ball. To play at the very highest level, you have to make sure you have that,'' Warburton told QPR's official webpage.

''He is a talented boy, is playing exceptionally well for us, scoring goals and I hope very much that he is playing with a smile on his face as well.''

Eze, who previously trained with the Super Eagles before becoming provisionally cap-tied to England, has kept the Nigeria Football Federation waiting over a decision on his international future, saying he wants to concentrate on his club career.
These are outstanding statistics for a midfielder and we have just about got to half the season.

This is the reason why I voted Omeruo the best defender. I think your performance at a tournament proper should carry more weight. He was our best CB at the AFCON this year. And was even our best CB in Russia 2018 imo
I did a screen shot but it was ages ago so can't find it anymore. But if you have time you will discover according to AFCON Aina was statistically the best defender.

Omeruo was not voted as one of the outstanding CB s in the tournament. I found him lacking several times.

coincidentally, for the second consecutive game, both players have played side by side for Sheffield Wednesday. If Odubajo can stay consistent we will have to bring him into the convo also.
He has been good but not outstanding like Dominic. He has a lot of work to do but in the context of the SE he is an option to be considered.

Everything about Sheffield Wednesday has Dominic at the centre of it.

Conor is the Captain at Wolves

Iorfa is in the Championship, case closed
Can you explain how the case is closed.

Jordan Henderson is the Captain of Liverpool but he is not the best Midfielder in Liverpool or anywhere near the highest valued. Indeed he leaves Liverpool he will be in the Championship.

So can you explain how Conor Coady who was a team mate of Dominic Iorfa and has never been invited to the England senior set up unlike Dominic.

So what makes him better than Dominic. That's a very superficial approach to analytics.

So when the January transfer window closes and Iorfa is in a EPL team does that mean he is now good enough.

I have often said l would rather have the top performing player in a lower league than an anonymous one in a higher league.

Tega Abrahams was consistently outstanding and the top goal scorer in the Championship last season. He has come to the EPL and is ripping it apart. So according to you he was not good enough before.

Or we can talk about Fikayo Tomori ripped the Championship apart. Now in the first team for Chelsea and an England international.

Conor Coady is the face of English legitimacy for the Wolves Portuguese project.

This is not true. It's just fallacy of hasty generalisation at best.

Do you know how many times Madrid came for Scholes? yet the guy didn't leave Man Utd. Even Rooney at a point was disturbed by Barca, before they went for David Villa, but Rooney still never wanted to leave England.

The thing is, not everyone has a dream of playing for both clubs like most y'all Barca and Madrid fans like to make people believe. For every player that went on Strike, just to join Barca or Madrid , there are many other players that rejected them as well.
When you are on the EPL living your best life with your brethren why would you want to leave London for Madrid.

Why would an agent or football associate.

Based in the UK go carry bad market.

Do you know how problematic it is too get a player from Nigeria to the UK. It's already a failed business plan.

When there are multiple African origin players who don't carry the problematic excess baggage allowance of work permit, TPI, signing dubiously with multiple agents, talking to the corrupt club chairmen and academy owners in Nigeria ,etc

That's a very very poor business plan.

When l can sit in England get a few players signed and pull in a few thousand every week not naira but £££

well, inane dribbles will have to matter in a goalless encounter.

You are talking as if Atletico scored 5 goals, when they had nothing. At least Chuks made the match worth watching for many people. He was trending at the top of the Twitter trends on a day Sowore was bundled from a court, Cardi B was in Naija (with Jidenna) and TheExperience was happening. So, many people rather enjoyed watching those inane dribbles

This may be hard for you to believe, but some people actually care about those inane dribbles
However, not the people who matter the coaches managers and heads of recruitment in football club in Europe.

Football has moved on dribbling, doing skills and show boating without end product amounts to NUTTIN.

Look at Man city, do you think Raheem, Gabriel and Sane can not do skills and dribble up and down. Try that too much and you would do it on the bench for ever.

form is not permanent. That's why continuous competition is necessary. Don't be surprised that even some of these youthful players will have a deep in form at some point. What do you do then? Still shut out other players who are showing great form at their club on the ground that we have a young team? Next year is 2020, although we hope that our players stay excellent and consistent throughout the year, it rarely happens in football. So let's keep the sentiments aside, when any of our players start to struggle or become consistent bench warmers they have to be shown the way out until they can fight their way back in the team. That is how excellence is achieved.
Agreed without reservation or question or any cross examination.
