Of course! All the players in the U-20 world cup claimed to be of the required age and substantiated it hence why they were accepted to participate.

Now, here in the court of social media etc we have people asserting these same players are 25-30 years old. In doing so it is down to those who accuse to provide evidence to disprove what the players have already proven.

It is not me (wayodude) that has to prove or substantiate anything.
How did they independently corroborate verify and substantiate their date of birth and therefore ages please.

I don't need to prove anything. The burden of proof lies with the prosecution. As an accuser YOU have to prove your assertion.

The argument is not whether there is a suspicion of age cheating or not.
Anything you claim to be you must substantiate, with an authentic unquestionable unit of measurement and or corroboration.

Go to the bank with your sworn declaration of intention to pay back. And see if they will give you ANYTHING. You must prove you can pay back a loan and substantiate that intent with collateral.

Exactly.

There are three aspects of life you can't cheat:
1) Nature
2) Time(Age)
3) The Truth

Funny thing about the truth is, it always has its way of showing itself no matter how many people ignore it or how long they try to hide it. It's an agent of exposure. An extrovert if you will cheesy.
Look.at most of our players once they hit 30 they are unable to play top level football.

Ighalo, VO and Obagol are exceptions but in general that's more often than not .

The bolded is not true.
You can't prove it's not true and you can't prove without independent automatic birth data capture.

So you have to rely on the players integrity,in an environment where age is intrinsically linked to your value and progression.

The difference between you and a top contract is your age, in many instances.

That's what I was trying to communicate but I'm being told otherwise.
Some people don't understand the modern footballer needs a far different skill set to get to the top .

Mbappe can play wing and cross the ball with pin point accuracy both feet 🐾.

If you don't have those skill sets as a modern day forward player , you will find it hard to get to the top.

Now there are some strikers who are so good you play to their strengths and appreciate their incredible talent. For instance Lewindosky , Kane and Lukaku come to mind .

Mikel and Etebo were not at their prime in the Championship.. in fact you should not be mentioning Mikel's name in this convo.. you don forget say Mikel play for Premiership just because of Onyedinma don reach there now.

And yes Nwakali is above Mikel's level near retirement. grin
Mikel played for Nigeria with EXCELLENCE even when his time at Chelsea had come to an end in 2015/16.

He was still outstanding for Nigeria in the World cup along side Etebo. But on arrival in the English Championship they did well but were not outstanding and or exceptional.

Even now if you put Mikel Obi and Etebo into the Segunda division they will dominate and become oustanding and exceptional.

Nwakali has never been at the level of Etebo and or Mikel.

My comments have nothing to do with Onyedinma, l said it before repeatedly I don't think he is good enough yet for the SE .

However, Nwakali is way off the mark in terms of SE quality in my opinion. He needs to stop playing for relegation teams in very poor quality leagues . There are too many players better than him.

Etebo is 3 years older than Nwakali what prime are you talking about ❓

They did it with Koulibali, they could do it with Victor. But knowing Victor with his stubborness, it might be Napoli's loss eventually as Victor may just wait out his contract and move for stubbornness,. Honestly, Napoli shouldn't be greedy, strike while the iron is hot and make some good returns on the young man now.
Well Koulibali came to the EPL with huge expectations and a good fee of £33 million for a 30+ player, I dint think he has been very good.

This is what happens in football he looked sensational for Napoli now he looks hmmm 🤔

One thing I've learned in football ⚽ strike while the iron is hot.

Vihalovic, Lukaku, immobile, were all too goal scorers in consecutive season now they are way down the pecking order.

It's taken VO three seasons to hit this form, there is no guarantee that Napoli can replicate this level of performance and therefore VO.

If he doesn't move now although the transfer fee is too high , next season may not be as favourable and his value drop.

He need the move now nobody can predict tomorrow.

Sky Sport Deutschland: Bayern Munich remain in the race
to sign Napoli striker Osimhen

German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich remain
interested in Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
This was confirmed by Sky Sport Deutschland transfer
market expert, Florian Plettenberg who wrote on his
Twitter page on Tuesday morning that Osimhen is still a
priority target for Bayern Munich.

He disclosed that the Bavarians still want to sign a
marquee striker in the summer transfer window and are
working on a strategy to make that happen.

The club executives Uli Hoeneß and Karl-Heinz
Rummenigge want to make a statement signing this
summer and have shortlisted Osimhen as a top target.

The 24-year-old is not the only desired target, with
French striker Randal Kolo Muani and England's record
top scorer, Harry Kanealso on their shortlist.

Osimhen is one of the best strikers in Europe at the
moment and has attracted the interest of big teams in
Europe.

While the Italian Serie A champions are still hoping he
signs a contract extension, Napoli owner Aurelio De
Laurentiis wants 150 million euros (estimated as N120
billion in Nigerian currency) from any team willing to
prize him away from the Blues.

Osimhen is also attracting interest from Chelsea,
Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.
Bayern‘s position is very clear and confirmed again:
They still want to sign ONE big striker! They are pursuing
a clear strategy in the background.
Clubs are competing for the very best strikers they can get for the best price.

While Napoli have fuelled speculation with their outrageous transfer fees, clubs are completing deals.

I hope they have not decided to use delay and overpricing to prevent VO from leaving.❓

Bros, I think you’re talking about the old winger system aka the 20th century football. Modern wingers don’t need to have any of those qualities: crossing abilities, speed, etc. it’s not their jobs anymore. Today, we have those positions called “wingbacks” to perform those roles.

In the modern game, your wing forward plays more like a 9 and half. Got ithuh

VO signed for Spartak Moscow in July 2021 and then had a lucrative contract extension on the 10th February 2022.

As at the 10th February 2022, Putin denied publicly that Russia had no intention to invade Ukraine. He lied BLATANTLY as they invaded on the 24th February two after VO had signed the contract.

VO is essentially stuck in Russia and would probably never had signed an extension if he knew what Russia was planning.

Because you anchor ⚓ yourself on emotive preference not objective appraisal.

Consider Mikel Obi and Etebo they were not outstanding in the Championship good but not anywhere near the best.

Is Nwakali anywhere near the level of Mikel and Etebo❓.

😳 moving from the Bulgarian league to Russia is terrible?

The boy seized the opportunity of he’s exploits at the u20 World Cup to earn that move. Moving from the Bulgarian league to Russia is a big leap if we are honest to ourselves

Ex u17 forward Olusegun is on the verge of moving to ligue 1 from the same Russian league after doing well in a lowly rated Danish club where he got he’s move to Krasnodar

Is a big stepping stone for Nnadi to bigger leagues for he’s age

Moreover it’s miles better than playing in the Spanish 2nd tier and will be far easier to attract a call up to the national team if he performs well in Russia 🇷🇺
Actually that move is a complete failure and worst thing he could do in his career.

Russia is ostracized on too many fronts on account of it's invasion of Ukraine.

Nobody with any brain wants to ge there .They dint have much money and cannot attract players.

Going to Russia from Bulgaria is out of the frying 🍳 pan into th FIRE 🔥. One level of mediocrity yo another level of be deeper MEDIOCRITY

Russian league rated 18 and Bulgarian league rated 27in Europe . Both league are in the backward back end of Europe.

You have to be extremely desperate and or a very poor quality footballer to choose Russia at this time.

Among the S.E hopefuls, only Igoh Ogbu has what it takes to actually nail a place in our starting eleven, aside Omeruo, Balogun and Awaziem, not all these Adarabioyo, Torunarigha, Uduokhai, that are nowhere an upgrade to what we already have.

I know many of you will be surprised at the names i rated below lgoh Ogbu, but it is what it is.

We have a CB in Igoh Ogbu.
It's more likely that club form will be replicated in the national team.

That's why the only basis for selection is consistent outstanding top class performance in n your club and league. Obviously the better the league and club the higher your rating.

Omeruo has spent the last decade in mediocrity, no where near a top club or league. From the Eredivise where his only accolade was, the only player in the history of the Eredivise to score a goal, an own goal and receive a red card all in one match.

He had two seasons in the Championship in 2013/14 & 2014/15, he was essentially anonymous. From there to Turkey and then one season in La Liga in a relegation bound team and had permanent residence in Segunda division, with Nwakali best long ball Midfielder in the world who had found level semi professional football in Tercera division.

Adarabioyo Tosin is currently miles Ahead of all the defenders you mentioned. Wanted by West Ham, Tottenham, inter Milan to name a few.

Tell me one better club interested in Omeruo please.

Igho Ogbu is playing in what league and club currently and where was he before that ❓l think you ar way too ASSUMPTIVE about this players ability. If he is good at 23 what is he doing for 5 years in Norwegian league and now he had jumped so high to Czech league.

You seem to carry statistics as the be all and end all of football appraisal. I say it again statistics are indicative not conclusive.

Are all goals the same NOT EXACTLY, a player may not have one on one dominance but is a fox in the box and get lots of tap ins and scored penalities. So it

When you start making comparison between different leagues it becomes even more problematic. Not all second tier league are the same.

Not all leagues have the same distribution of comparable quality from top to bottom. Not all leagues have the same physicality and intensity. In this case the Segunda division Vs Championship.

Without prejudice Nwakali would be lost in the Championship ok n the other hand Onyedinma would-be dominating in the very poor quality Segunda.

Segundo division is poor quality and there is a big gulf in competitive quality between La Liga and the Segunda.

Nwakali would not have any dominance in La Liga with his limited ability, he would be in Valladolid or Almeria. Getting RELEGATED.

So why would Peseiro invite him just because he is in La Liga. Don't think so
