Keep up to date will you. Spain's age of consent is 16. The new law came into effect in 2015. However for Sicko like Robert, the age of consent would have been 18. Only those relatably close in Age to the Minor can use 16 as their defence in a law court.

Now let's address the points you made. Let start with the Aaliyah case. Let's start by asking Why a full grown Man would KNOWINGLY marry a Child? Is that normal human behaviour to you? The only reason He was not prosecuted was because Aaliyah and Her parents decided not to take any further actions. Aaliyah I can forgive as She was only a child but Her parents need their heads examined..

The only reason He isn't currently serving Pen time for the crime He committed against that Child is because of Her parents.
