OneNaira6:Unfortunately, you'll never find Biafra on world map. |
By their fruit ye shall know them. The days when desperate politicians rape the the electorates in broad day light is over. A lot of them will be shocked to the bone marrow come March & April 2015 |
Is Biafra nation really recognised somewhere? I watched an American movie "Alien Outpost", a Nigerian (by his name) - one of the black soldiers in the movie was asked by the documentary crew where he was from, the dude responded "Biafra" instead of Nigeria. |
Waste of time. Doyin is a politician. He can't be trusted in giving out the 1million, even when you did his bidding. |
It was irreconcilable mistake amalgamating the Northern and Southern Protectorates and called them Nigeria. These were distinct entities that were meant to be apart |
sCun:Sensational journalists will never cease to amaze me. I doubt the credibility of this report. at Ikeja outside Lagos. I also doubt if it's coming from New York Times inside Ogun state |
What the woman meant is that, she is voting APC at the Federal (TShirt - top) and PDP at the State level. She is not a biased supporter |
Nigeria does not need prophecy for change. Nigeria needs attitudinal and mental change. I see attention-seeking-prophet here. If much prayer will avert the alleged riot in the prophecy, then Nigerian's votes will bring the expected change come next election. Religion as practice in Nigeria has indeed compounded Nigeria's problem. |
I sensed high level of envy in this so-called pastor's commentary. Was Pastor Osinbajo picked at gun point or under duress? He could have declined if his most senior pastors never gave a nod to his mission. This Pastor is very bittered and sentimental. Rev Mbaka was not this direct people misunderstood him. I wonder if this man is anywhere near non-partisan as a man of God. The devil is a liar |
shizzle11:Apologies for quoting you in the first place, I thought you were an adult. I won't give you the luxury of thoughtless bickering. My point was made. It does not even make sense trying to justify our politicians' actions when (as Nigerians) we are on our own. I am moving on... |
KwoiZabo:In as much as I am not in either camps of the players, I wish to emphasize that, people should learn to respect covenant in closed doors. Even GOD himself respects covenant. The reason HE hesitates in saving any soul who consciously covenanted with the devil for material aggrandizement and power. If it's true GEJ had made a deal with his cabal, he should honor the deal. If he is too greedy to honor a covenant with his small cabal, I doubt if he will ever honor his deal with Nigerians if given a second chance. Come to think of it, he failed to honor his first deal of 'Fresh Air to vote' to Nigerians in his first chance. Little things matter in life. You can't eat your cake and have it. Nemesis will outsmart you. |
Being a husband/wife is not all there is in life, but a mean to an end. Marriage should be forever (good or bad) as believed in some quarters. If that is the case, why then do folks just jump into marriage just to satisfy the society or a partner? It's best to wait (even if it means forever) if you feel you aren't emotionally and financially ready. Than to jump unprepared into marriage and become miserable for the rest of your life. To keep a home, to live with a woman, you need more than emotion and money. Just do your thing, you are not living for anyone but your conscience. Rather, strive to be the change-bringer the society needs. Never allow anyone to feed you with the misconception that 'you are responsible when you marry'. Absolute fallacy! Any sane man is responsible by his actions and words to the society and world at large. |
One of the core problems GEJ has is surrounding himself with sycophants and unintelligent advisers who enjoy seeing him embarrass himself with trivialities in public space. It beats my imagination how a respectable number 1 citizen would always want to push his points with frivolities and pettiness. I believe he could do better going solo than relying on his advisers. |
Quite Enlightening. Thanks Mr. Writer. I am not a politician-type of guy. Politicians are dishonest and I don't trust them. As it stands now, making comparisons between the two(2) devils, based on antecedence and competencies, and without prejudice whatsoever, Buhari seems to be the better devil. How I wish a new blood was coming between them as third formidable contender. GEJ was given a chance by Nigerians to write his name in gold in the annals of history, but he failed abysmally. No matter how hard he tries to win back Nigerians, he will never again enjoys the massive patronage by Nigerians. What we have seen as alleged goodwill in some quarters is deep-rooted ethnocentricity as opposed to nationality and objectivity. I will vote myself come Feb 2015 as the CHANGE-bringer |
vanbonattel:For Heaven's sake, this man is a Nigerian. He is enentitled to his opinion on national issues. He is a leader and wants what is best for him and his followers. We worship our corrupt leaders far too much because of certain personal benefits we gain from them, consequent on this we become 'yes sir' freaks and not able to be objective in our decisions and actions. If men of God can speak against our politician let they be. |
People are misunderstanding Rev Mbaka's commentary. When will Nigerians learn to differentiate truth from being partisan? This why Nigeria will never move forward. Tell the truth as it is meant, most Nigerians feel you are full of hate, biased, partisan, ethnocentric and prejudiced. Of course Rev Mbaka is a man of God. He is not expected to be anybody's puppet or sycophant. Truth should be his watchword. Watching the purported video he made this truth known, there was no element of partisan in his sermon. We all agitate for change, but hate truths. Bear in mind that truths engender change and change is inevitable |
Ikpeba bone story. We all know that you don't want to be seen as partisan. Your adviser did well. All said and done. Your vote shall bring respite after Feb 2015. Keep deceiving them with your multi-twitter accounts. Chop knuckle #codedteamFebuHari |
For the first time in a long time, this post has won the funniest post I have read so far. I don't even know where to begin or what to comment. ![]() JESUS is Lord whether you agree or not |
honjohnbright:Even if it stands in the remotest village, it's quite appalling sir. Even a madman will dread this place. I bet, no security outfit can solve any crime in this kind of sordid condition. It's a smack of insensitivity and disgrace calling this shanty "Police post of the Federal Republic of Nigeria". |
SkinnyDude:Using these two words appropriately is a nightmare to most folks. |
tosyne2much:What manner would have been better Sir? Methinks, being sarcastic would have been inappropriate. Blunt correction is way to go if you want it taken. |
samflexxy:Am I the only one noticing this sad trend - most folks don't know how, where and when to use "Their and There"? in sentences. Is it just a foolish trend in writing? Or has textspeak affected peeps this much? It's stark embarrassment seeing this blunder spilled all over social media. |
I am following this fact file. |
lifestyle1:Yes, but let Okupe likens |
TheRealMrStan:. You really mean Patience Jonathan got her NCE after 32yrs? At what age did she obtain her Degree certificate and NYSC exception certificate? This speaks volume |
Boss13:Not at all. How can I obtain a copy? Your help would be most appreciated. |
Quite interesting how a former President of Nigeria - Rtd General Obasanjo has suddenly become the Wikileak of Nigeria. This drama is going to be way too interesting to miss |
Madness in HD mistaken for style...SMH |
Even MSc holders in Nigeria misuse 'Been' and 'Being' in their written expressions |
