About eight decades later,an apostle of human freedom,Abraham Lincoln
made this statement the cardinal of his political philosophy and then
issued THE EMMANCIPATION PROCLAMATION OF 1863,an executive order
that seeks to free the slaves from slave masters.

One hundred years later,the greatest political and moral leader in human history
Martin Luther King Junior who did not hold any political post, professed and reiterated this declaration.

He insisted that the slaves must be free from the slave masters.

To me, it is not only the slaves but;

The captives free from their captors.

The oppressed free from the oppressors.

The preys free from predators.

The weak free from the strong.

The poor free from the shackles of the rich.

The simple free from the grip of the wicked.

The lamb free from the jaws of the Lion.

But the tormentors of humanity seeking to silence this statement, murdered

Some people still see themselves as masters and others as slaves.

They prey on their victims,cast and kill them with their actions.

yesterday night my neighbour got a text captioned bvn asking her to call a certain number in order to help rectify her bvn registrations.my neighbour immediately called the number.the fraud star told her to send her ATM card serial number and pin code which she promptly sent.In less than 3 minutes,she got a debit alert of 8k which is the only balance in her accounts.she called back the number and started crying and rolling herself on the ground.two of her children joined her and she continued begging the

fraudstar that that was the only money left for her to feed her children till the end of January.initially,the fraud star banged the phone asking her if it is only because of 8k she is making noise.surprisingly,in the early hours of today,the guy called her and asked her to send her account number.lo and behold,the guy credited her back with an extra 1000 making it 9k and told her he could not sleep because of the cry of those children.I think this is the miracle of 2016.

I hold this truth to be self-evident that voting is a right and not a privilege.
This all important right should therefore be excercised in utmost good faith,with a sound and unbiased mind that is devoid of personal prejudice.

>Do not vote because someone is or is not from your tribe,ethnic group or region.
Tribal sentiments and ethnic bigotry create more problems than they help solve.

>Do not vote because someone shares or does not share the same religious belief with you.
The greatest crisis in the word today is caused by religious intolerance,extremism and fanatism.

>Do not vote because of financial inducement or flamboyant gifts.
Those things are trivial and cannot stand even the simplest test of endurance.

>Do not vote because of someone's numerous credentials or lack of credentials.

My people.

Elections have always come and gone and more will still come in the years ahead.
Nigeria has witnessed many elections including the now infamous June 12th that shook the very foundations of this country.

Elections are re-currrent but those killed during elections are permanently gone.
I am yet to see any of them that resurrected after the elections.They do not even live to see who wins the election.

Nigeria politics is an ideology shrouded in pretence,deceit,badmouthing,propaganda and falsehood.
Politicians have no permanent friends or enemies but permanent interest.That interest is selfish in nature.

Do not be surprised when you see these opponents embrace themselves and dine together after the elections.

So what is the squabble all about? We are all naked to death; says Steve Jobs.
Please do not sacrifice your life to salvage the course of a politician.

Let us observe the following tips as we perform our civic responsibilty of voting;

-Do not go to the polling station with your car,children and or a heavily pregnant wife.Who will you save in case of an emergency?

-Do not go to the polling station with any branded shirt,cap or other wears showing support for a candidate.

-Do not be involved in any argument in a gathering on the best candidate to win.

-Do not try to influence or persuade any body to vote for a particular candidate.

-Do not lean on any parked vehicle or stay close to any carefully wrapped parcel around the vicinity.

-Do not work as an agent for any political party or try to protect peoples vote.Do not play hero.

-Do not be an eye-witness or take photos or videos of a violent situation.Leave immediately you sense danger.

This election is not worth your blood or the blood of any member of your family.
Please play safe,stay alive and take care of your family.

There is nothing like removing subsidy here.

During Nigerian civil war.Biafran soldiers used to refine oil themselves and so many illegal refineries still exist in Nigeria.
Let us start refining oil locally here by building so many refineries and forget about importing what we are producing.
Subsidy should stay since Government wants to continue to waste resources importing oil.Meanwhile they are buying from their own refineries outside the country.

CHACHANGI has very old aircrafts but I enjoy flying them because their take-off and landing is always smooth.The have one of the best pilots in the industry.
