RomanceRe: Why is the use of the word "love" overrated? by koozy(m): 11:52pm On Jul 02, 2012
On this here forum, love is used wrongly. Folks here dunno what it is. Loving Niggas they only chat with online. Loving some random chic they spot from a distance. Funny people on here man
RomanceRe: Should I Abort The Baby by koozy(m): 11:37pm On Jul 02, 2012
Listen ma, u will be fine. I was 20 when I had my son. Still in Uni. My gf was still in school. Worse situation than yours right? We had no family support. It was us against the world. We were young but not as s'tupid as people thought. We were not gonna make our beautiful child an excuse for not achieving our goals. We stuck together. Grabbed our balls and faced the challenges. We are successful graduates and doing great. We are a happy family expecting our 2nd child. It's only natural to be scared but don't let that stop u from doing right.

Do the right thing. You'll appreciate it later

RomanceRe: Should I Abort The Baby by koozy(m): 5:33pm On Jul 02, 2012
DO NOT KILL YOUR CHILD.

This child has obviously been conceived out of love. Ur bf is doing what he should - he's being a man. Why do you wanna destroy everything. Having a child is not a bad thing. Accept the reality of the situation and adjust your life to cater for this change. I had my son very young and I'm thankful he's here with us. Our lives didn't stop.

Do the decent thing and don't be selfish.
RomanceRe: He Gave Your Girlfriend A Car by koozy(m): 5:21pm On Jul 02, 2012
If the guy has been chyking her.... it wouldn't be my place to tell her whether or not to accept a gift. She's not a child for me to be dictating to her. But I would expect that out of her respect for me she would not accept it. That would emphasize her regard for me as her man.

If she accepts, I would be offended and let her know and if she doesn't see how it hurts my feelings then we've got a problem
^Perfect example of what i am talking about

Clearly this women is hooked and is in Love

Otherwise She(Jess79) would not have done all that searching and investigating into his other actions

You can Love someone without being in their physical presense.

Only people who believe otherwise are thinking with their sesual organ
Yo, this has got nothing to do with sex or anything physical. I am not a bible peddler, but I absolutely agree with what the bible calls love. If u can sacrifice urself for another that is true love. People are infatuated and impressed with the picture being painted to them virtually and it gets into their consciousness. Use your head before involving your heart
RomanceRe: Is Internet Dating Really Rubbish? by koozy(m): 11:25am On Jun 28, 2012
jess79: OPINIONS PLEASE....I been talking with nigerian man who lives in Malaysia for one year now. He calls me his wife..huh He is very possesive and even wants to see me sleeping on cam. He claims he loves me and wants to marry and have kids. I found different profiles of his few months after talking but he deleted them. Most times now we are always on cam together. He gave me his email and password 8 months back and I found in the conversation history several conversations with other girls and he called them his wife as well....since then he has stopped. He tells me his poor and barely gets by and does what hes has too to get by. And on his facebook I found in his conversations with family members where he told them he wasn't serious about me...but all this was about 8 months ago. Since things have changed but I am all confused. Should I walk away or stay and see what happens? I do love him and I forgive him for things I found out. And he has me on his facebook as his wife. But all that could be staged. I am a hard working American girl...full time job, live on my own, pay my own bills and going to college in August. I just don't want to get into a bad situation. Also I told him that a husband is to take care of his wife and would have to provide a roundtrip flight ticket if he wants me to come visit him. I do love him but I don't want to get into a sticky situation. Please need your opinions....walk away or ride it out? shocked
I had to laugh for a while reading this....
I don't mean to be rude but the word "mugu" just readily springs to mind.
What makes u think u love him? It'll be interesting to know. U know u only have his word to go by yeah? And whatever he chooses to show you.
Can you do anything for this man? Can u sacrifice ur well-being for him? If the answer to this questions is yes, then u love him. If not pls stop saying you love him.
RomanceRe: Needs A Girlfriend But Not Yet Financially Bouyant by koozy(m): 11:14am On Jun 28, 2012
Kodewrita is right. Please don't have in your head that you have to have money to find love. This is becoming the culture in Nigeria (yes NIGERIA - I'm not Nigeria bashing, just telling the truth). I would like to believe there are genuine women around still. Get out there and meet people. Make friends and you will find someone who likes you for who you are not what you have. Chase your personal ambitions as you see fit but don't let your finance hinder you. Someone who eventually loves would help you in pursuing your dreams. If u wanna attract someone with what u have, if for some reason u don't have anymore, u think they'll stay. Or if she finds someone who has more. So just live life and be yourself
Why do people like making things about Nigeria? The people who invented social media also have the same problem so stop with the Nigeria bashing abeg.
This is Nairaland and I imagine it is made up of Nigerians. A lot of the threads on here mostly involve being "in love" with some person on some social media. People they haven't met or know squat about. I know people here where I live that complain about being tired of being single, when they spend most of their time on the BBMs, FB, twitter & skype having feelings for these virtual studs. They become so consumed that they dunno how to handle real life anymore. They can't be themselves cos it's all a facade put on online. I see an obsession with these things is all. People calling it love just irks me!
RomanceRe: Is Internet Dating Really Rubbish? by koozy(m): 10:47am On Jun 28, 2012
Hmmm..

Love is an emotional connection though...You don't really have to be in physical form to love

For example..you can Love a Character in a Book..

you can Love a Video Game...

you can Love a Philosophy..

Love and Sesual Stimulation With Climax dosen't necessarily go hand and hand with Physical Interaction through human form by visibility

Otherwise...the "Blind" could not Possibly Love.
We are talking LOVE here, as in human connection. What u speak of is more of liking something. As far as I am concerned u cannot love someone you have not met. Blind people have human connections when they meet others. This is creating an image in ur mind of the other person based on the image they virtually portray. Isn't it only common sense to know that if u are gonna invest your heart and time in a relationship u wanna know the person and what u are dealing with. A few words and smiley faces is not enough to make people fall in love. It make the either too easy or plain dumb

Men WTF is wrong with you people. He doesn't even live close by. What's with Nigerians and online and long distant relationships. We can overdo things! Social media was invented and now we have decided to use it to live real life. I'm tired of my people huh

Vikin: Nice post.

But believe me, YOU GO SOON TIRE!

The best is just be yourself...

Treat him like your bestfriend and not your boss!

That the fun of having your man.

After all the wahala at work, and plenty assignment with your boss, i face another boss at home?

Me, when i have a rough time at work and more exhausted than him, he takes over.

He is just my best friend..if he makes me angry...we know how to settle it instead of all these formal bulcrap! Anyway, thats my opinion.
Pay attention to the sense written in this post

Yup I am the same. But with someone u are in a relationship with I think its different. This is someone u would wanna know what going on with them regularly. Plus u would miss them and wanna hear from them. It's different from friends and family.
