That taharqa is so quick to tell people they don't what they are talking about. Turns out the guy doesn't even know half of GEJ's blunders !!!

LRNZH: You do not need to search too far. Lemme manage your ingnorance.

GEJ claimed to know BH sponsors on Sept 02, 2011 in Abuja while launching the new national driver’s license and number plates. Link below:

This Rossik is a case study in how to be a paid hack. Patriotism is the last refuge of the... Fool yourself you are!!! This is the same GEJ who boasted about the praise he was getting from Obama while Nigerians were criticizing him !!! Obama quickly realized that the man is not very discerning and in fact worse than the average Nigerian politician, and kept his distance pronto.

Rossikk: GEJ has done more than the last 6 Nigerian leaders COMBINED. Infrastructure, education, health. ALL have seen improved investment in the last two years. Unless you are based abroad or living under a rock, you would know this. If Africa gets recolonized it will be because of dummies like you who lap up the deceptions of foreigners.

B4 talking out of your behind why don't you show the world my support for Tinubu on this statement. Unlike you people who's sole purpose in life seems to be promoting GEJ - even if his plan is to hack your limb for his dinner- I don't support people blindly. Disagree with Tinubu if you must but don't accuse me blindly.

The Nigerian economy is strong is an illusion of petro-dollars. Just pray that oil prices remain high.

Goddex: Hypocrite Koruji!!!!!!!
When your godfather, the big criminal himself, almighty Tinubu suggested to the economic team to discontinue savings in ECA and SWFund, and share all proceeds to tiers of government, you guys came out enmasse to support him. Again, when National Assembly increased oil benchmark from $75 proposed by FG to $79, most of you took side with Tambuwal forgetting that it is the difference in this benchmarks that is saved in ECA and SWF.

What the economic team headed by Okonjo-Iweala foresaw over a year ago is what you are seeing now. For your information, members of that team are very intelligent chaps and are among the best this country can offer so keep calm. No need to panic. The Nigerian economy is strong. Ok?

Rossikk: Why should inconsequential garbage like this be front page? Nigeria will take no lessons from the US, the country with the most corrupt, bloodthirsty leaders in the entire human history. A country that murders millions of innocents in order to steal oil to fatten further their already bloated elite. Why are war criminals like George Bush, Di.ck Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and Colin Powell still walking free? How many innocent Afghans did Obama slaughter today? How many African progressives have the US and friends slaughtered, from Murtala to Lumumba to Sankara to Nkrumah? Why did a US court just last week absolve Shell of all criminal responsibility for environmental devastation in Nigeria? Nasty two-faced criminals poking their dirty noses into what concerns them not, and deceiving the gullible with their fake "sainthood".

PoliticsNigeria’s N4.93tr Budget Under Threat by koruji(op): 6:27pm On Apr 20, 2013
GEJ would have nobody to blame when the oil bubble bursts in a couple of years because his government has emptied the ECA account, without creating a reserve storage alternative. Even the sovereign wealth fund started with much hoopla does not contain much that can help. Federally shared revenue is already dwindling, and the price of oil may not be so high for much longer any more. It will become clear to all that GEJ has really done nothing to enhance the Nigerian economy, and is merely riding the wave of high oil prices. Instead of saving much of the extra money coming in like OBJ did, leaving more than $20 billion for Yar'adua/GEJ they now have only $7 billion - Mrs. Okonjo-Iwealla is suggesting they will need to spend it over the next couple of months to stabilize the budget !!!

Another golden age, again fueled by oil, may have passed Nigeria by without any real progress in laying the basis for solid economic progress.

ACN has being warning about this trend for a couple of months now. State governments are beginning to feel the pinch - even the state with the highest oil revenue, Akwa Ibom, borrowed 10s of billions of Naira recently, and seems to be seeking another N80 billion loan.

The yellow light is on for Nigeria, but where is a pragmatic president who knows what he is doing to prevent a red light.

Nigeria’s ability to finance its N4.93 trillion 2013 budget may run into a hitch as the Federal Government declared that she was losing N160 billion ($1billion) monthly in revenue following the drop in oil production and in the prices of crude oil at the international market. Total losses, which stemmed from shut-in, due to Force Majeure declared by oil companies, oil theft and illegal bunkering, were put at 300, 000 barrels per day (bpd) by the Finance Minister and Coordinating Minister of the economy, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.

Addressing a press conference, at the sidelines of the ongoing World Bank/ International Monetary Fund (IMF) meetings in Washington D.C, the minister said the briefing was important because of the avowed transparency in the President Jonathan’s administration. The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) had said last Tuesday that oil production fell below projections in the first quarter due to crude theft and pipeline sabotage. The current production, according to Finance Minster, ranged from 2.1 million bpd to 2.2 million barrels per day, less than an estimated 2.5 million barrels per day for the 2013 budget.

The N4.93 trillion ($31.35 billion) budget for 2013 was based on an assumption of a $79-per-barrel budget oil price, higher than the $75-per-barrel proposed by the Executive and up from $72 for last year’s budget. With the persistent drop in price of oil in the international market ($97 dollar per barrel as at yesterday), coupled with the monthly N160billion revenue loss, in addition to the shortfalls in other revenues from the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) and Nigerian Customs, the ability to finance the 2013 budget may be tough if oil production is not restored in good time especially the Shell Nembe, which has shut-in 150,000 barrels of oil per day.

But the Minster has assured that the $7billion left in the Excess Crude Account (ECA) was enough to stabilise the shortfall within the next three months pending the time the recoveries would be made. She said this is why the Excess Crude Account (ECA) is very important to the country but pointed out that it was very significant for the country to move quickly to recover production.

The Federal Government sets a price per barrel when calculating oil revenue in the budget, and saves any money collected above that level in the ECA to meet spending shortfalls. Already, Okonjo-Iweala said President Jonathan has directed the Nigeria Navy to go after the oil thieves and would also be meeting with the oil chiefs next week, with a view to collaborating with them on how to restore the damaged pipelines by the oil thieves as well as finding a lasting solution to the malaise.

PoliticsRe: Corruption Perception: Goodluck Jonathan Versus Bola Tinubu by koruji(m): 3:51pm On Apr 20, 2013
I guess all we need to do is write articles accusing you of stealing billions to convince you that you are a thief. We better get to it then....

This Beaf will never change...

Sincere 9gerian: Unfortunately, many people believe Tinubu is looting the treasury of Lagos and perhaps other southwest states under ACN control. The articles above were written by concerned stakeholders who believe Tinubu is a thief and looter. They were not written by me. That Tinubu has not been prosecuted so far does not exonerate him from those weighty allegations. Perhaps his cronies in Lagos and other affected states have so far succeeded in closing his tracks. Tinubu's foot solders will not remain in power for ever. When the tide turns, 'fowl yansh' will be fully exposed.

Again, the logic that because President Jonathan is unable to bring corrupt Tinubu to justice makes the president automatically corrupt is SENSELESS. A police man cannot be regarded as a criminal simply because he has been unable to apprehend a suspected criminal. Yes, the police has the responsibility to apprehend criminals but the police must have a water tight case against any criminal before moving against the criminal. Otherwise, the case will crumble in court. The same applies to suspected looter/thief like Tinubu. Moreover any clamp down on Tinubu without something concrete will be termed political persecution

Don't annoy me man cheesy cheesy cheesy Your sense of patriotism is good but you are no more patriotic than I am - you simply carry yours into the realm of unnecessary jingoism - sometimes. Calling people imbeciles because of a discussion is low.

I am aghast at your below write-up. THE FG ARROGATES OUR ENTIRE SECURITY TO ITSELF - SO WHO ARE WE SUPPOSED TO BLAME FOR LETTING BOKO HARAM FESTER. NOBODY EVER SAID GEJ CAUSED BOKO HARAM -EXCEPT OF COURSE UNSERIOUS PEOPLE.

So my friend you are beating a strawman here and contradicting yourself. Let me give a simple analogy. You and I are about to eat a meal of bread and tea. I am tasked with getting bread and you with tea. However, I failed to deliver bread but you brought tea. Now someone sees us drinking tea and begins to thank me for working to bring tea. So you calmly explained to him that I didn't really bring the bread which was my assignment and the tea was your own contribution. If I had done my job we will be eating a full meal rather drinking effectively water. But this guy refused to stop, he goes ahead and says if you must blame me for refusing to bring bread then I must receive thanks for the tea too because, afterall, I am here drinking tea with you. In this simple analogy the bread is security, tea is private investment and the guy annoyingly thanking me is you and the others claiming credit for GEJ for a project he had nothing to do with.

Yes I should read up on GEJ's investment results but you should back-up your claims too.

Rossikk: When Boko Haram strikes, do you defend Jonathan by asking how he was responsible for the attack? No. You simply blame him. But when good things happen, you suddenly start demanding to know how Jonathan was involved. I've really no time for two-faced, sick imbeci.iles like you. If you want to know Jonathan's policies go read them up. It's not my duty to educate you. Same for the others asking the same stupi.d questions as you. Ewo...Read my post again and u will realize I was saying it is more likely both of those guys facilitated the plant than GEJ did. Reason being they have been on ground longer and closer to the project than GEJ.

Did u see the word "probably" at all? It is basically to counter your unfounded claim that GEJ is working becos he was invited to commission the plant. My use of probably also means they may have nothing to do with the plant, just like GEJ didn't.

Anyway, happy commissioning to GEJ. Are u happy now? grin grin grin

Sincere 9gerian: The same Tinubu/Fashola that you alleged built the factory from scratch or supported the factory all the way are going for ACN owambe the same day the factory will be commissioned. How does that add up? Shameless liar
PoliticsRe: Jonathan To Commission Steel Plant Thursday! by koruji(m): 7:13pm On Apr 17, 2013
Then tell us what exactly GEJ's policies contributed here or forever hold your peace. The plant started construction b4 GEJ. Let us have a list of the specific investments that his policy has attracted. I remember the fanfare with which Aganga was signing investment "ageements" about a year ago - show us the state of those "investments" now instead of latching on to projects they knew nothing about.

Rossikk: The govt takes the credit for creating the enabling business environment and economic growth conditions that make companies decide to invest billions of dollars in the economy.

It is ignorant and bordering on illiteracy to claim that a dramatic rise in investment in a country has nothing to do with the nation's policies.

It is a pattern already, and they should not get away with it anymore.

Itoroetti :
So how jealousy and hatred have turn u into a political tout
PoliticsRe: Jonathan To Commission Steel Plant Thursday! by koruji(m): 1:04pm On Apr 17, 2013
These are all suppositions. Which new policies did GEJ implement that facilitated this project is the question? No hand-waving allowed!!! This project has been on for years before GEJ. It is not any appreciation for support - it is the usual way to commission big projects in Nigeria. When GEJ was invited to the Eko Atlantic event was that appreciation for support too? The man is actually trying to block funding for projects in Lagos that is already being disbursed by the WB.

odomanis: GEJ will not build or give money to private investors to build factories since the FG is privatising. So dont expect that. What FG under GEJ has done and keeps doing is to provide enabling environment for the factories to thrive. Grant waivers on tarriffs, import duty relief on raw materials and granting of Tax holidays to these companies. It is in appreciation of these supports that GEJ is being invited to commission the factory.

Somebody made mention of GEJ coming to EKO atlantic. He equally was invited because of his support to the project though initiated by Lagos state government. Be reminded that coastal lines do not belong to the states but FG. If GEJ did not give his approval,Lagos state cannot do anything on the area that will host the Eko atlantic project.

A lot is being done by GEJ and his team to encourage Private investors, that is why despite the low level of infrastructure which are being addressed anyway, companies are still coming in and springing up.

The point is the OP has no basis for any policies by GEJ that facilitated this project, yet jumps up and shouts "GEJ is working" - then the usual tails come in attacking Fashola.

The fact is that this project was already on way before GEJ and all he is being asked to do is commission it, but that won't stop loudmouths from claiming credit for GEJ over the project.

Everybody should guard their projects jealously - because GEJ's agents are roaming the landscape trying to stamp every good thing, especially done by opposition governors and officials, as GEJ's accomplishment. You would think the pie-in-the-face they have received over these attempts over the last few weeks would be enough to deter them - but Noooooooooo..... Shameless credit-"grabbing".

Sincere 9gerian: Yes, its a privately owned company. But what govt does or fail do can kill or revive privately owned companies. For such companies, FG provides support and enabling environment for them to succeed. As for the company in question, the FG has supported it all the way. Even from the report below, when the minister of mines and steel visited the company late last year, the company was still asking for MORE SUPPORT from govt to enable it expand its activities.
http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/fg-pursues-real-sector-growth-through-steel-development/132508/

Govt does not need to own companies and claim credit for such companies. Govt supports privately owned companies to emerge and grow. By so doing jobs will be created and poverty will be reduced.

Just in case your post was due to IGNORANCE, I hope I have educated you.

Good economy? Yes, but what good policies has GEJ implemented?
So what does GEJ have to do with the current good "Nigerian" economy? Not much.
In fact, the way he is going about allocating billions to frivolous projects while leaving important ones unattended is holding back the growth of the economy.

All this glittering that you call "gold" is due to the high price of oil.
One potential contribution from GEJ is that he finished the amnesty program that was started under Yar'adua.
In the short term, this has enabled us to sell more oil than was possible with the ND insurgency.
However, the long-term benefit to Nigeria is doubtful - for one ND militancy will return the closer we get to 2015.

In any case, "GEJ is working" is an undeserved praise for a completely private initiative.
And for the usual suspects to jump in with attacks on Fashola really crossed the line.
Under the thread on the $7 billion ECA I point out the blinking yellow light ahead - when that decline reaches the oil market all of this praise for GEJ will disappear. ACN has raised alarm about this potential problem. For his sake, I hope GEJ's economic advisers have their thinking caps on.
