I think it's normal, I use an oraimo power bank for me TECNO phone and you mustn't on or off anything, just plug it and it starts charging automatically.

Personally I feel they're all good to go, though I love the fact that this new oraimo freepod 4 can work with an app to set the controls to your taste, oraimo really did well with it.
