Moresalt: Please, can anyone identify this snake... Poisonous or not?
So, my dogs forcefully went outside the gate today in the afternoon. It's not really the usual time to go out to pee and stuff, so I was a bit angry and wanted them to come back.
They wasted a bit of time running around the bush and I started chasing them a little before they knew I was serious and they wouldn't like me to graduate to using some well orchestrated spanks first...
Finally they got in the living room (not using the cage for now cos they disturb/bark at the neighbors). Then just as I was about to close the door and turn back I found this shocker chilling like a confused fish out of water.
Thankfully it wasn't too comfortable to slither on tiles so it was very easy to target the head first.
It must have hidden itself around one of the dog's body—maybe the more hairy one. Cos I just move in 2 months ago, there could be no other way for such except for small cockroaches and maybe wall geckos I should try to deal with it.
Please help identify it... Mildly venomous night adder |

MoneyMan5: You are just deluded
Do you know how much in government contracts and subsidy Elon Musk enjoy? It's part of what Trump is threatening him with.
In Nigeria what Business men usually get is government contracts and patronization, how many times have we subsidize the business of a billionaire? And there's no country in the world that the government doesn't support the businesses of their industrialists because they are the one that usually create development ,create Jobs and improve the economy even in China, Russia or anywherem
It's only in Nigeria you don't want government to help billionaires because they are not from your tribe and you are just jealous of them, you know how much Dangote pay in taxes every year ? Dangote is still the biggest employer in Nigeria and even west Africa. Lol shut up. Space X is too big to fail right now. And like the first op said this is not Africa or Asia or Russia where Democratic monarchs lord over your free wills. Elon has the tools and resources to litigate the shit out of Trumps administration is he were to attempt hamstringing Space X or Tesla. Even if Trump were to successfully cut government contracts and grants, Elon right now has the resources to swallow that cut without so much as breaking a sweat. If Space X were to go public it'll immediately be at the very least a top five biggest business in the world by market cap. The fact that it hasn't is a reflection of the fact that it is not cash strapped. Despite all the headwinds and what not, Tesla is still the eleventh biggest company in the world. There's a reason Jack Ma was disappeared by the CCP when he was amassing a certain level of influence and wealth, and its likely related to what's going on in America right now. At some level of wealth, some of that wealth turns into raw power, more so in a democratic country like the US. Elon openly challenged the Biden administration, was at loggerheads with them throughout their tenure and significantly contributed to their downfall, yet these grants you are talking about were still in place and all his businesses boomed big. Not that I like the man anyway. |

Achoghim: It's a Gaboon viper. Very deadly. In Igbo, it is called "echi eteka" (tomorrow is too far), which implies that the venom kills almost instantly. Gaboons are distinctly dissimilar from this with a chunkier build, bigger head and very very distinct body pattern. They're a very unique type of snake. This is a night adder with a less toxic venom compared to that of the Gaboon viper. |

ViceGovernor: That looks like a saw scaled viper (male) You can tell by how dark the colour is the males usually have a darker skin tone than the females and a very distinct V shape on the head. If you get close to it, it rubs the scales on the skin against each other to make the sound of a saw cutting wood and it has a very loud hiss. If after those two warnings you don’t turn around they will strike repeatedly up to 12 times and each time they inject a certain milligram of hemotoxic venom which is enough to kill 20 full grown horses.
— Do you know that Mambas, Cobras and Vipers are the most lethal serpents and all 3 can be found in no other continent but in Africa This is folklore. Pound for pound Most venomous serpents leave in Australia. Inland Taipan. Tiger snake. This is a night adder. And its venom is not usually fatal to humans. |

How can you use Down’s syndrome as an insult? Are you normal at all?
I have at least 3 reasonable private places available to me and I don’t need to waste my time being abused and experimented on in an eyesore teaching hospital by disgusting individuals like you who lack manners.
Goodbye “doctor” 😆 👋🏾 Doctors don't perform 'experiments' in teaching hospitals. They provide care that's taught as a side piece to students and other doctors. If you want the highest level of care available in Nigeria a teaching hospital is your best bet. You're managed by a multidisciplinary team with people who have decade long experience. Private hospitals lack that multi disciplinary approach, even at the best ones. It's unlikely that a diabetic patient will be managed by an endocrinologist, a surgeon, dietician, physiotherapist, nephrologist, cardiologist or more in the setting of a private hospital. Usually it's one or two doctors doing the jobs of these people. That's fine if it's a simple uncomplicated case of diabetes, however when the going gets tough it won't suffice, hence why many private hospitals refer to teaching hospitals for many severe diseases. I get your point about bureaucracy and inneficiency too. And you're right. Much like most government establishments in Nigeria Teaching hospitals can be annoying for patients. I would pick a private hospital for routine medical visits over a teaching hospital or any govt owned hospital for that matter. That said you must be very careful in choosing a private hospital. Very very careful. Chose one you are sure has excellent medical practitioners, not excellent facilities and buildings. At many private hospitals a lot of things are glossed over for plain ignorance and lack of experienced supervision (what you get in teaching hospitals) of younger doctors. |

emkz: Those who are fighting Nigeria for clamping down on binance should please inform us how much they have lost or will likely lose in investments through binance.
We heard that the UK Prime Minister has said they'd revoke visas of people coming to their country to protest. We have not heard any British national criticize him. But Nigeria clamps down on binance, the youth are at the forefront of criticizing the government and supporting binance.
I ask you, oh you supporter of binance: where does your loyalty lie? To country or to binance or your selfishness?
We recited this in primary and secondary schools thoughtlessly. Now that we are adults, let it sink in, the import of the covenant we make to Nigeria.
But many of the defenders of binance pledge to the following:
It is mental sickness for you to support a foreign entity against your own country. If the country fails, it would reflect on all of us. Lol fool. I know you're a troll but humor me. IbeOkehie: The market is what it is. Nobody can force a price on anything indefinitely.
Nigeria has just sent a message to the world that our government is arbitrary, wicked, untrustworthy and abusive.
Investors big and small have been avoiding Nigeria for a while now. I've personally realized a long time ago that nothing owned in Nigeria is safe from government and this is further proof. Who exactly will risk importing major capital into Nigeria now?
The naira is losing value because the government of Nigeria has increased money supply by massive amounts since 2015. The recent CBN audit has proved it, various government officials have admitted it. Binance or Abokifx have nothing to do with it, they report and facilitate currency trades.
Two Binance officers are under arrest in Nigeria. I guess they're the surety for the fine. This is kidnapping for ransom as a national business.
This whole thing is disgusting 🫣
Good Luck to Nigeria. Banning Binance is one thing, the absurd reasons I just read up there is another thing entirely. This country is hopeless. How can a representative of govt state on quote that it's the responsibility of the CBN to fix Naira rates compared to other currencies traded in a free market. The ineptitude and incompetence this statement exposes is baffling. I mean if that were true why doesn't the CBN just 'fix' the Naira at 1NGN to 1USD. Even more baffling is the legion of illiterate, poverty stricken, cursed-to-grovel-at-the-feet-of-politicians Nigerians currently praising these daft statements and their attendant policies. Most first world countries with liens on the activities of Binance limit it to the securities and futures traded on the platform. Nothing to do with buying cryptocurrencies at whatever rates. Most of those limitations are pending full registration and disclosure by Binance. If Binance decides to (unlikely they would) engage full financial and anti money laundering compliance said limitations will be defacto dissolved. These fools who've been grounded by hate, abject poverty, and frankly an innate thirst for suffering continue grasping straws with innane rhetorics like Binance is banned in other countries. Brainwashed by the sermons of crass politicians who ride bulletproof lexuses bought with money meant for their children's education they've become classic cases of stockholms syndrome. Destitute men, failures. Even if they manage to live off bread crumbs from their slave owners, it's just a matter of time before the hen comes to roost. Your children will be fvcked and abused by these men and their sons. Your generation will forever continue to thirst for luxuries they can only admire from a distance. You will be forever remembered as that political arslicker Lotta suffering to go around. Many Nigerians will die pitiable deaths - hopefully most of them are these brainless mofos. Was happy this ban was implemented. Once the palliative effect it had on Naira rates wears off interested in seeing where next the goal post will be moved to. |

motymop: the money on your bank app is real money and different from the USDT, USDT is not real currency but a stable coin for changing positions in crypto, it is different from real USD or digital money in your account.
Many international organisations do not use USDT for trading goods and services because of regulatory issues and anti- money laundering laws.
The demand for real USD has nothing to do with the demand of USDT, the demand for USDT at this moment is used for speculative purposes
the only reason traders are selling usdt/ngn pair in the unofficial rate at cbn is because of greed
Are they sourcing USDT from Nigeria government? NO or are they buying NGN from Nigerian government? no
so why are traders using the black market rate on binance if it is not about greed and arbitrage profit Lol. What's makes the money in your bank account 'real.' Right now so tired of insulting you brainless mofos parading your ignorance on NL but let me try. Fundamentally there's no difference between the printing that goes on at Tether HQ and what goes on in the Nigerian Treasury and Minting office. Even more so cause this is a country run by charlantans with worse off credentials and reputation compared to Paolo Ardoino. You cannot sit in your unelectrified shit hole of a house and pass off anecdotes as facts. GAZZUZZ: Over the years a lot of car dealers have fallen short of expectations on this platform. They have defrauded clients and they have either left or have started using new profiles.
The thread title for starters is not appropriate . A contract was entered into by both parties to purchase and deliver a vehicle . Money was paid to purchase the vehicle , vehicle was purchased. Vehicle was not resold to a third party vehicle was not stolen or vandalized . So for starters fraud does not come to play. What you have here is a common situation that happens once in a while . It has happened to every vehicle importer on this platform.
One of the reasons I will not tolerate kakaki slander is because he is one of the very few good guys who have integrity , one of the few good guys that you can send 100's of millions of naira and sleep easy. He has built a name for him self by being upright in his dealings.
Again as I said if I was in his shoes and I was threatened this way, I would refund the exact amount credited to me.
Business does not always go the way we expect and he is doing his best.
A lot of dealers have come and gone, but kakkaki stands out and will continue to thrive because of his integrity. I will continue to defend him.
My boss. You have no idea how much respect I have for you. On this platform and off I use you as a yardstick of what it is to be good at what you do. No reason am, I dey use you brag. Like you really have no idea. That said, if I'd seen a vouch from you for KakakiAutos I would have avoided him like plague because despite how much reverence I have for you, I'm also well aware of your larger than life attitude and what that connotes for any one doing business with you. If I knew KakakiAutos was in your circle I wouldn't go near him not even with a ten foot pole. Until after I'd created this thread I wasn't sure or not. And frankly till now I'm still not sure this vehicle has been purchased because for all I know the only solid evidence I have of purchase and things being the way they seem to be is KakakiAutos' word of mouth or rather texts typed online. If you hold on to my money for 5 months without delivering on the established contract - it's a failed contract. I'm entitled to extrapolate the reason behind this failure based on my experience of things. This was how inspiredM had 'integrity' until suddenly he didn't have any integrity. I still believe the title of the thread is appropriate. I've requested a refund countless times. If KakakiAutos had refunded the exact money I sent to him in Naira this thread wouldn't have existed. He hasn't, I don't have my car, and even now the only thing I have to touch grass is more explanations. But make all of una no worry. |

Newbie2024: This is inconsequential in this issue. Are you the accused marketing manager? Please stop playing to gallery.
Op, did the accused informed you that the vehicle has a pending title before purchase? If yes, then you have to exercise more patience until title is available. But if no, please you are at liberty to ask for refund. Nah. I wasn't told this car was pending title before purchase. In fact I just got to know recently that cars could be 'pending title' on Copart and that is like part of their normal business. After purchase and after the delay in shipping this vehicle KakakiAutos told me first 'there was an issue and they were waiting on the seller to finalize' not sure this is the exact wording but you get the idea. After more delays and more probing I get 'they're waiting on the seller to release the title.' And the question I asked him was why the fvck will you buy a car without a Title - the title is what makes a car, please return this car and get me a refund. But mistakes can be made, maybe he too didn't know this was pending title. And I just kept quiet after that. Now I'm a simple man, I told this dude that the time frame for delivery isn't is not what is hurting me. It's the freaking suspense after shelling out 45M. I told him if I bought a product and I know I'll get it by December assuredly, I can wait. I have that patience. If he'd made the effort to let me know that certain cars are categorized pending title and maybe add that he went through same process with Gazzuzz, that'd be the true definition of gentlemanly. Not English. But keeping me hanging. Waiting for me to call you. Ignoring my calls. My texts. Untop my 45M. That's just not acceptable. I think five or four weeks ago he messaged me that the title was being processed to be complete within 2-3 weeks or EARLIER. Emphasis on earlier. Three weeks later no update. I was waiting for an update. I buzz this guy with threats to involve my lawyer and he told me he hadn't committed any crime. Lol, wtf. Four weeks after. No update. GAZZUZZ: Have done over 30 different cardeals with kakaki over the years. If not for the current trend in FX by now we would have already done like 3 this year.
These are a few done in 2023. Makes sense. And again I had no issues whatsoever transferring 45M to this dude even tho I'd never met him cos of reviews like this. That was about five months ago. Past performance is however not a guaranteed indicator of future performance. For this deal I've been thoroughly dissappointed. I do business too, I have clients. 5 months is a long time to hold on to a client's 45M. His attitude is even more distasteful and it kind of corellates since there's people like you coming to threads like this with pictures of deals you've had as a subtle vouch even when that's not the point of this discussion. |

You should look at the other options chukel talked about including reselling vehicle.
You can't be gentlemaning with a client's 45M. No sense of urgency. Just English. And if this was his attitude before he got my money it would be understandable. You need to see our chats before I made payment. After I made payment the switch up was extraordinary, suddenly my messages take hours to get replies. Sometimes I don't get replies. chukel: while not holding brief for kaakai, pending title could be the cause of the delay. However, these things no longer take that much time again. If its pending from seller, it appears within 2-3days of payment. If its DMV, at most 3 months depending on the state. However, there is another way out for cars without title. Container shipping. There are documents to get for around $30 to facilitate shipping it containerised. Moreover, it's cost effective shipping in container from California. My advice is this. Unless he converted all the funds you gave him to dollars, bringing in this car now will cost you way more. Let him relist it on copart, sell and refund you your money be it in naira or dollar equivalent and have your peace. I noticed it's not an FSport. So what was the stress for? It's an FSport. I've asked for a refund countless times my dude. With this guy's larger than life attitude I don't even know what's exactly up. |
