The emphasis should not necessarily be on mileage alone but on maintenance history. A properly maintained vehicle could run for thousands of mileage especially following manufacturers'recommended procedure. For instance, a poorly maintained engine with 50k mileage could cave in whereas a car with more than 200k mileage is still going strong.
