Nothern

Those who created the regions didn't consider tribes or indigenous people, it was mostly done based on geography. That's why they lump ibibio with igbos or uroho in delta with with yorubas.


When ojukwu declared biafra, he did it based on the map of eastern region of that time. No referendum or anything to consider if other minority tribes that are not igbos but are indengeneous to south south of today want to be a part of biafra or not.

Its one of the reasons why ojuku failed and you people still call some south southerners traitors.


Now we have 6 regions,
SW, SE, SS, NW,NE,NC

Now, this put everything in right perspective.

Cos now we have south south for minorties between south east and south west. Which means yorubas don't have to lord the wishes of yoruba unto uroho man because we are from the same region and we are majority and ibo will force their wishes on ikwere or ibibio man like they did with biafra.

We have nc for minorities between south and north.



Now, if you want to declare biafra, you do it based on the current south east just like ojuku did based on the 60's south east.

If you cannot do that, then you are calling for problem.

Now if their is call for nationwide referendum to divide the country, then minorities can come together and chose where they want to belong. Not you telling them their land belongs to you because it used to be a part of ojukwu's biafra
Or because their are few sub igbo groups in south south.

Our graduates have lost their jobs, Our military men where retired without accomplishing their dreams. The British report went further to warn that "the seeds of the trouble which broke out in Kano on May 16 (1953) have their counterparts still in the ground. Of course, it happened again. IPOB Publicity Secretary, Mr Emma Powerful has revealed names of some Nigerians who are allegedly planning to snuff life out of the leader IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has revealed some people are planning to kill its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, Daily Post has reported.

Some politicians from the north, Igbo politicians and former retired and serving service chiefs are all in the list.

Speaking on the issue, IPOB Publicity Secretary, Mr Emma Powerful, stated that Kanu has recently been receiving threats to his life from known individuals and groups over his utterances.

Those mentioned in the list include former Chief Security officer to Abacha, Major Hamza Al Mustapha; IGP, Ibrahim Idris; Chief of Army Staff, Major General Tukur Buratai; Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo; former Lagos State Police commissioner, Alhaji Abubakar Tsav; former governor, Yerima Shetima were among those listed to be threatening the life of Kanu.

Other listed are: Ohaneze Ndigbo led by Chief Nnia Nwodo; Gov. Willie Obiano of Anambra State; Gov, Rochas Okorocha of Imo State; Gov. David Nwaze Umahi of Ebonyi State; Methodist Prelate, Samuel Uche.

Mr powerful reacting to the list said: “We understand that Federal Government of Nigeria mapped out huge amount of money and political positions for them to carry out the heinous crime against Kanu. We promise them that any attack on Nnamdi Kanu or assassination attempt will radicalize the struggle for Biafra independence to the point which no one can curtail the radicalism for Biafra independence anymore.

“IPOB members cannot stop half way because the struggle for Biafra quest for freedom is at the point of no return, therefore Government of Nigeria should fix a date for referendum where people will decide through their votes, whether to leave Nigeria or stay in Nigeria,”
