Kazim88:Leave those people... They have zero tolerance and they can't bear insults... Unfortunately South Nigeria eat insult day and night as meal.. Kanu only crime is "He Insulted Northerners"... only.. Their major anger with Southerners is also the Insult. but using violence and threat would not stop insult... It would only increase it. The best way to end insult... Is to show maturity, not violent. |
lexy2014:OK we agree... "Kanu should, Infact must be Arrested " Then Arewa Youths should be?? |
TheCabal:They did not withdraw the Dumb Kaduna Declaration... The only "Suspend " part of it... Don't decieve yourself.... |
GoroTango:You are absolutely right... The FG should demand for all the signatory of Kaduna Declaration... Plus Nnamdi Kanu arrest. Not just only Nnamdi Kanu.. UN has also call for the arrest of the Arewa Youths... Let's see what did government would do. |

WASHINGTON, Aug. 25, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Statement of law firm Fein & DelValle PLLC: The law firm of Fein & DelValle PLLC travelled to Enugu, Nigeria—the heart of Igboland—from August 19-August 24, 2017. Our visit was to meet with our plaintiffs-clients, to gather facts and to conduct research to advance the Torture Victims Protection Act (TVPA) lawsuit we have filed in the United States District Court for the District of Columbia on behalf of ten (10) anonymous plaintiffs against sixteen (16) individual defendants for extrajudicial killings and torture perpetrated under color of Nigerian law motived by the Igbo ethnicity, Christian faith, and political viewpoints of the victims. The case is styled John Doe, et al v. Tukur Yusuf Buratai, et al, Civil Action No. 1:17-cv-0133. Plaintiffs are seeking compensatory and punitive damages to secure justice for the Igbo people, to give them hope for the future, and to deter genocide, ethnic cleansing or the extermination of Christians in Nigeria by radical Islamic Hausa-Fulani terrorists in Northern Nigeria. We are convinced that Nigeria is the most dangerous country in the world for Christians. They routinely defile the sanctity of churches by killing children hiding their tiny bodies in pews. In violation of Nigeria's professed secular constitution, Nigeria has joined the Organization of Islamic Countries and twelve northern states have adopted sharia law. The Christian Open Door Report of 2015 found that Boko Haram, the northeast Islamic terrorist organization, had killed 11,000 Christians, destroyed 13,000 churches and 1,500 Christian schools, had created 2.6 million internally displaced persons, and forced 1.3 million Christians to flee. On July 11, 2017 by the Fulani Youth Consultative Forum (ACYF) issued an odious, chilling and genocidal threat to plunder the properties and evict by force and violence eleven (11) million Igbos peacefully residing in Northern Nigeria if they do not vacate the region by October 1, 2017. The Government of Nigeria and nineteen northern States have tacitly endorsed the ACYF threatened genocide of twice the number who was exterminated by the Nazis in the Holocaust! The federal and state governments in northern Nigeria have refused to arrest even a single ACYF member. But today, the ACYF threat was withdrawn—perhaps because frightened by the prospect of TVPA suits against their members. Whether the withdrawal was bogus or genuine remains to be seen. In our Buratai suit, the District Court issued an order granting the plaintiffs' motion to proceed anonymously because they reasonably feared lethal retaliation against themselves or families if their identities were known. The actions of the defendants were crimes against humanity that can be prosecuted in any jurisdiction in the world. Indeed, the Convention Against Torture mandates that signatory nations like the United States and Nigeria prosecute the crimes of torture or extrajudicial killings. Fourteen of the individual defendants are federal officials and two are state governors in the Southeast. One of the two, Governors, Willie Obiano of Anambra State, has already apologized for the brutal killings of plaintiffs that he admits were perpetrated under his aegis. The other defendant Governor is Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State. The defendants have yet to answer. Several are in default for failure to respond within 21 days of the service of the summons and Complaint. We are optimistic about our chances of victory at trial or earlier. Defendants are represented by a small Nigerian law firm in California thousands of miles from the venue of the litigation in the District of Columbia. They represent they have been contacted by the Government of Nigeria, not by the individual defendants. We salute the courage of our ten anonymous plaintiffs and their brave supporters throughout Igboland. We are unified in our insistence on obtaining justice for the Igbo people through peaceful and lawful means that disavow the lawless savagery of their persecutors. They should tremble when they reflect that God is just, and that his justice will not sleep forever. SalamRushdie:Not just south east... North vs Middle Belt (Herdsmen backed by Northern politicians) North vs South West (Over restructuring and Osinbajo presidency) North vs South South (Resouse Control / Biafra) The North are creating trouble... Trouble without understanding the consequences |
Kazim88:Na, I think you are misunderstanding them... What they are actually saying is making sense . The government must give biafra their referendum.. Else nobody is safe... U can't force unity.... If the government use AK 47 to attack agitator, it would be their worst mistake. The only place I think they err was not giving the government and NASS ultimatum on the referendum ... Because if the trouble start those greedy politicians would escape Also this their manner of redrawer is creating more Acrimony and disgraceful disgust against the North they should have use a reconcillatory tone |

lalasticlala... This is the authentic speech of the withdrawer of Arewa youths. |
COALITION of Northern Groups (CNG), on Thursday, suspended its quit notice issued to all Igbos leaving in Northern Nigeria by October 1, with advice on Federal Government to allow Igbos hold a referendum to decide their future either as Nigerians or as Biafrans. This, the groups said became paramount in view of the population of the Igbos that support Biafra was far larger than the few who appeared to be against it, saying failure to do that would only douse this tension temporarily while they regroup to prepare for the war, they have always craved and openly called for. The group therefore called for the immediate arrest of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu and for his appropriate prosecution. Abdul-Azeez Suleiman, who addressed newsmen alongside the Borno State Governor, Alhaji Kashim Shettima, on behalf of other 13 Northern groups, said the groups shall firmly pursue their petitions to the United Nations and the Nigerian Federal authorities for the appropriate sanction of Kanu and other IPOB leaders and sponsors in addition to labeling them a terror outfit. Suleiman, who is the Chairman, Northern Emancipation Network, further called on the Nigerian Senate to demand that all Senators who stood surety for Kanu in Court rescind their bond or be suspended accordingly. According to the group, “mindful of the concerns generated by the clause in the Kaduna declaration that advised the Biafran Igbo to relocate from Northern Nigeria and for northerners in the South-East to do likewise, and our commitment to the unity of our dear country, we immediately opened channels for dialogue and interaction with government agencies, national and international groups, institutions and figures. “Admittedly, we came under intense persuasive pressure from genuinely concerned national, political, traditional, religious and cultural leaders prominent among which were: a section of the Northern Governors Forum under its Chairman, Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State, northern traditional rulers and the Directorate of State Security. “We also had several fruitful interactions with various concerned individuals and groups. Most significant was our correspondence with the then Acting President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo and most recently our interface with the Presidency through the Special Assistant to the President on Political Matters. “As a consequence of these vigorous engagements and as cultured people with a tradition of respect for our national values, leaders and elders, we are today pleased to announce the immediate suspension of the relocation clause otherwise referred to as the quit notice from the Kaduna Declaration. “This suspension we are proud to say, is also out of respect for and in reaffirmation of our allegiance to one united, peaceful and prosperous Nigeria and in our unshaken confidence in the political will and sincere commitment of our dear President Muhammadu Buhari to take a holistic look at all the concerns we raised. http://www.tribuneonlineng.com/quit-notice-northern-groups-suspend-kadunas-declaration-call-kanus-arrest/amp/

Lollxx More please.. I have not heard anything about the Legendary Lt. Col. Oscar Ibibibo of the Royal Rat Brigade (RRB) . Any update |
Despite President Muhammadu Buhari’s national broadcast on Monday that every Nigeria is free to live and do business in any part of the country, militants in the oil region of the Niger Delta have insisted that Yorubas and northerners living in the region must vacate by October 1. The group reinstated their threat in a statement released and signed by John Duku (Niger Delta Watchdogs); Ekpo Ekpo (Niger Delta Volunteers ); Osarolor Nedam (Niger Delta Warriors ); Henry Okon Etete (Niger Delta Peoples Fighters); Asukwo Henshaw (Bakassi Freedom Fighters); Ibinabo Horsfall (Niger Delta Movement for Justice ); Duke Emmanson (Niger Delta Fighters Network) and Inibeghe Adams (Niger Delta Freedom Mandate). They stated: “We wish to thank all well – meaning Nigerians who threw their weight behind restructuring and disassociated themselves from the President’s position on restructuring. We want to remind him (the President) that without restructuring, there would be no united Nigeria,” the group said. Accusing Buhari of not believing in “other Nigerians apart from those from the North,” the agitators wondered how the president could say that the unity of Nigeria was not negotiable. The group went further to say, “The Coalition of Arewa Youths’ quit notice to Igbo was in collaboration with the Northern elders, the President’s cabal and top security chiefs from the North. They were properly consulted by the youths. “Therefore, we maintain our previous position that Northerners and Yorubas should vacate the Niger Delta region before October 1, 2017, until justice is done. We can no longer tolerate this injustice, marginalisation and being treated as slaves in our own land. “We, therefore, demand that the Northerners should return 70 per cent and Yorubas 15 per cent of their oil blocks to the Niger Delta people for justice to prevail.” The militants’ insistence on its quit notice is coming on the heels of President Buhari’s directive to service chiefs to clampdown on Boko Haram terrorists, Biafra and other agitators for breakup of the country. https://www.ripplesnigeria.com/ndelta-militants-shun-buhari-insist-northerners-yorubas-must-vacate-region-oct-1/amp/ |
Chitumu:Best comment and suggestions of the day.. Not all northerners want Igbos to leave. Majority in ground have no problem with Igbos... That Quit Notice was a political beef... Between Northern politician and Igbo Politicians... Those igbo in the North were use as collateral to blackmail the igbo politicians because they thought biafra was a ploy to get Igbo presidency. |
