Violence is not the medicine to curb violence

Everyone in Plateau is bitter. During the just concluded sallah, the indigines attacked, killed and ATE the people who went for prayers.

How on earth would u eat a fellow human being?

Plateau state needs spiritual cleansing for these things to stop. The youths also need to sheath their swords. Enough is enough. Its now 10yrs and we are still killing each other. Haba!

I can't believe we have cannibals in this 21st century. You eat people and wash it down with a can of Harp or Viju milk. That's gruesome. I can't even attach d video I have here, because some people will just run outta the thread. The pics are remains of someone that was consumed by cannibals in plateau

I loved maths, but when we were in senior class and started further mathematics, it took me a while to get back on track.

Moreso they stay around government house here in Jos and security dey dia. Anyway we can just speculate, only God knows what happened. We are just praying for him

Was it reported in the news or on the pages of our newspapers that about 50% of the hausas killed by the indigenes around "Angwan Rukuba" were not buried, rather they were roasted like suya and eaten by the indigenes.

Make your inquiries and you will know what i am talking about. Recall in d news abt a couple of months back, about 3 boys who wanted to blow up ECWA church and COCIN church were apprehended and in the course of the interrogation, the bomb they were carrying blew them up. Those people were not buried, the indidgenes there just roasted them and ate them seasoned with pepper.

Its so disgusting. The presence of the military didnt deter them. When the military came to disperse them, they were shocked to discover humans eating human that even the military coudnt stand the disgust, they had to run away from that gory sight.

I learnt later, that the reason for their cannibalism is not because they are originally cannibals, but becuase they were told that if they do that, the hausas would leave their land for them. They said its a way of declaring outright war against them and its also their own "jazz"to ensure they dont loose the battle.

I know someone who was bold enough to captures some of the scenes on his phone, i hope i get to him after work so i can upload them for some doubting thomases

I really doubt this story of Kidnap because Kidnapping is not in any way common in Jos (i stay there and i think i know a little about the city)

Rather because of the crisis that has enveloped the town, the town has been split into two- the christain area and the muslim area,and there are secret killings going on BOTH sides.

if a xtain is found in the other side esp alone, the person would be killed and buried in a shallow grave. it would take only God's intervention to even find the corpse. I know people will doubt this, but i have two of my friends who cannot find their fathers up till today, when they tried their phones, the miscreants who picked it up would just laugh and tell them to come to some isolated place to pick up the corpse. I know of a woman also whose husband got missing as well and up till today as i write, they didnt see the man. They had to bury an empty coffin in their village just to fulfil all righteouness. The last i heard was about a young secondary student who had a bike man who picks him up everyday from school. The same bikeman took the guy to the slaughter house and they just snuffed out life from the young boy. when his parents were calling his number they were busy laughing at her and telling her all sorts.

i am trying not to be biased here, but a lot of things are happening which is not being reported on the pages of the newspapers in Jos.

i know that man. Very very nice man. And i am shocked to hear the news. But i am wishing that he has been kidnapped because that would be better off than what my mind is telling me.

That man is too nice for this kind of thing to happen to him.

You stay in Jos and you didn't watch the news where the guard at the cemetry insisted that he set the fire to ward of snakes that were disturbing him and also to clear out some areas to create space for more graves as that place is already filled

Please post verifiable news and not speculations. It baffles me that people believe rubbish

in summary, i just hated food.

i think im better now, at least i slept 3 straight hours this afternoon

tried fruits and it helped but i'm stucked with water melon for now. i think i am cool with that for now as in that is the only thing that passes through without any hitch.

i exercise regularly so that is out of it.

what i dont understand is how something would be bothering me and i wouldnt know becos that's what my doctor keeps saying.

Anyway i have been placed on some drugs to induce sleep for just 3days, the sad thing is that after that if it still continues then i would have to visit a psychologist/psychiatric coon cos it might be early signs of depression.

i seem very happy though, i dont look a bit like a depressed person.

this thing started like a joke and its beginning to turn into something else.

i guess i need prayers.

Doctors in the house, i need your help.

I havent been able to eat for the past 3weeks. the thought of food alone makes me angry. the sight of food makes me nauseous.

To add salt to injury, for days now i have not been able to sleep.

I spoke to my doctor and he claims i have something bothering me.

i have absolutely nothing bugging me. My friend even sugguested that i should have some mind blowing sessions with my hubby so that i can fall asleep, but that didnt help. I am so confused as i just dont know what is happening to me.

I am about to loose my mind. i need help fast.

Already i smell troulble as Oga Jonah comes for his kick off campaign rally tommorrow. Already ALL major roads were blocked in preparation for his coming tomorrow. Thereby paralysing every form of business for 2days because someone is coming to campaign! It doesnt make sense!

Infact i am tired of Jos. its no more home of peace and tourism, but home of terrorism.

The end to this crisis is FAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRR! Honestly you need to be here to know what is happening in the once blissful town. Its now One week, one trouble.

I'd love to correct a wrong impression here. Yes they burnt luxurious bus, infact two luxury buses were torched. But the people were able to escape with lots of matchets wounds. I reside in jos, and i can tell you guys that it aint funny here at all.

i had the same problem with my car (Honda Accord).

i changed the radiator still, it was consuming water, until someone told me to tale it to the mechanic, they had to set the valve,m and since then i havent experienced that trouble again

bottom line is that yr husband shld knw what he wants and not what his friends want. Fat or slim-i think its the content that matters and not d container. You on yr part shld work on yr self so u dnt blow out of proportion. Thats my 2pence

The mistake we make at times is that we do not know the difference between Next of kin and Beneficiary of funds. I work in a bank and i have seen a whole lot of people coming to claim their spouses account balance just because they were next of kin.

Next of kin simply is the person the organisation needs to contact immediately should the need arise.

Beneficiary of funds is the person you have categorically stated that in your demise(esp without a will) that person should have full title of your funds or whatever you have entitiled him with

For instance, my next of kin is my husband, but beneficaiary of funds is our son.

So next time when you are filling a form especially when it has to do with a bank, look carefully, there is always a column for next of kin and beneficiary of funds

same here in Jos, but the weather is very cold especialy in the morning. If you mistakenly take a bike, by the time you come back, your eyelashes and your hair would be filled with dust and you would look all grayed like someone in his nineties

if one can accumulate all that dust on him/her, i wonder how much we would have inhaled.

i am sick and tired of it all.!!!!
but i just got a call that a truck came into the town during curfew hours and the youths on guard demanded to see the contents but soldiers refused and started shooting at them.

there is this txt msg bng circulated around that they have loaded fulani warriors from maiduguri to jos for jihad.

so pls lets all be careful as there is high tension everywhere, the youths here have sworn to keep watch till day break!!!

yes the dusk to dawn curfew imposed on the state during the January crisis is still in place, what i am opposing is the fact that somewhere in this thread someone said there was a 24hr curfew in place, which isnt true and would only brew more tension.

So i believe that notion should be corrected.

I just confirmed that corpers were actually posted to Jos and during today's confusion when people were runnig helter skelter, the corpers that had reported all were looking confused and some crying, my friend just confirmed that he had to pick about 5 as his car could contain and dropped them off at relatively safe locations.

please nairalanders should pray for the peace of plateau.

the youths of the land are demonstrating, they claim they no longer want the soldiers (infact rumour has it that a soldier was killed) they want to face the hausa-fulani community fire for fire.  

First its Boko Haram, Jos crisis, kalo kuta in bauchi and now another Jos crisis; millions of people are being killed and yet  Islam remains a peaceful religion.

i really dont understand where people get their gist from. who said there's a 24 hr curfew in place. i am yet to hear that and i am based here in jos.

there is tension every where,  but that is expected. People claim there is a repraisal attack in some areas, but it has not been confirmed.

our lives and security is in the hands of God becos the Nigerian Army are a failure if i may say.

i have read everybody's comment and i think i wouldnt be biased if i say that there is no justification for killing women and children. i believe the so called islam should even be against that. People cant sleep again with their two eyes closed because no one knows where the next attack would start from.
