Why don't u get the card number off gtb, they should be able to give you that detail.... If I was the one, I won't pay until someone explains where your money disappeared to... Because the school acknowledges they had issues that period, then why don't they investigate payments for that period and use the details for the payment they received.... All payments come with a name of depositor.

imperiouxx: That isn't nice at all. That's a toy or calculator not computer. If anything can't support this graphic card Nvidia GeForce GT 650M - 2GB Video Memory and above (Nvidia GeForce GTX series), I'd rather stick to my old dv6 with first generation Nvidia and noisy fan.

Personally I see nothing wrong with the best buy laptop and that fan story is kinda true cos as I said, it is used more for graphics with needs more fan usage

I use HP Pavilion, but it started overheating real bad. I've changed the fan twice and its still giving problems. Now it shuts off abruptly. Don't want to spend money on this laptop so I'm desperately shopping for a new one. How about Toshiba - Here's the link for the Satelite 15.6 for $249.

Na wa... AMD is better for graphics so what is this sales agent talking about? Well I have used AMDs thru out, just using my first intel chip.... And my former laptops are still alive till date....

Samsung (to me) is a bigger brand name so I naturally would say them but Lenovo (IBM) is solely into computers so would go for them instead but Dell also has this kinda product so they would def be my first choice.

Does anyone have any experience with the new Lenovo ultrabook yoga?
I'm in dire need of a new laptop and came across this 13" laptop that flips into a tablet as well. I think its handy for Church as a tablet and school work as well. Are they any cons to purchasing a tablet/laptop in one. Will it easily break?

I also came across this Toshiba satelite laptop on sale for $249 at Bestbuy (Model: C655-S5082), but the sales rep discouraged me because of its low AMD whatever...i donno a lot about computers. Is Lenovo a good product?

Mystiqme: To all that ask: Yes you can apply directly from Bsc to PhD, that's what I did. Out of my classmates here, only 2 out of 8 have Msc and na the same requirements all of us dey do. However, be prepared to hit the ground running when you get here. I don't mean to scare you but it ain't easy.
I also agree with Imperiouxx that an MSc might give you an edge in case you want to develop your research skills or you just don't like long story of PhD.lol.
The only thing is you might find it easier to get funding for PhD than for MSc. Not impossible, but easier.
As for me, I nor get any money.. .
The Visa interview is gonna be a breeze, just smile and answer confidently, It is very rare for them to refuse Phd Visa.
