Science/Technology / Re: Scientists Will Create A Deadly New Flu Strain, Just To Prove They Can by kpozite(m): 3:57pm On Aug 10, 2013
A good way to use public funds to develop chemical weapons.
After developing it next thing you hear is that it's been stolen.
How I wish one test tube containing a deadly avian virus will break and find their way into these scientists lungs.

Letter of exemption is equivalent to discharge certificate anywhere so long as you fufil the requirement to get it, but it is absolutely unnecessary to adjust your age just to go and serve considering what you are doing now it will be a waste of time. But if you are below 30 you can go for for the service, then redeploy to your business location after the camp.
Don't let your decision be influenced by the “I must wear this NYSC kit” syndrome. The unemployed number in the country can do without I more addition.

okeke2: Meet Goodluck Johnatan, as a former senate member he voted to close down all federal universities and give all the money saved directly to the theives in the house of rep, and as president supported to reduce the marrying age to 13.
FACT: Johnatan used half of the national tax for a villa in Brazil and to special trained english tutors for the first lady ( like that helped ). Should we even start with NEPA. Goodluck Johnatan wants to be your president in 2015 again, but he hates our safety so much he wants to make peace with infamous terrorist group Boko Haram leaving your families and loved ones vunerable to terrorist attacks. Johnatan has lost in direction more than once and has disappointed his wife much in the same way he'll disappoint you, and he definetly has hair problems
CALL GOODLUCK JOHNATAN : Tell him that ridiculous hat isn't fooling anyone, SHORT ASSED BALD BASTARD!!! ITS JUST LIKE YOUR POLICIES THIN ON TOP AND SHORT ON IDEAS

GEJ when many people died in a bomb blast there in Suleja it took you many days to visit the place, and am sure you did that because of criticisms from the press, now one person dies in Lagos. You rush to offer condolence with half of your cabinet members. It is not fair

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Unemployment Hits Nigerian Pilots, 170 Jobless by kpozite(m): 8:31am On Aug 08, 2013
dolphinife: Some of us are talking out of ignorance. For a pilot to cough out about 10million naira just to be a pilot, do you think its easy? Moreover, pilot is very different from degree, we are talking of practical aspect.

You hardly find an unemployed pilot in any country. If not that our airlines are opting for expratriates, all those 170 wou have got a job.

For your information, the more a pilot stays at home, the more he becomes a sky-risk to flight. Since the job is about practical, a pilot must always fly every now and then or else, be expecting an air crash soon.

Infact, no pilot suppose to stay a day at home.....they are different from your yeye certificate una dey carry all about

Just employ them and save us the trouble please.
We are not complaining with our yeye certificate oo. In fact the yeye certificate is feeding us giving us our daily bread when 10 million certificate has failed so much for penny wise pound foolish.

How I wished such energy used cast and forbid this child marriage issue was also uesd for the ongoing ASUU strike, demand good leadership, to fight corruption, etc.
We leave the important issues and fret over trivial things. perverts like Sin. Yerima won't have been in the senate if we make half as much fuss over who goes to the senate.

Instead of them to help even in a little way, to dissolve whatever problems there are in Nigeria, they are busy anticipating, prophesying and telling the entire world and Nigerians about an eventual break up of Nigeria, keeping our memories, minds, and focus on what shouldn't be.
No hurt feelings, USA keep dreaming, predicting about Nigeria's bleak future? Don't tackle the security challenges in your own country. China is even emerging as the new most powerful country. Keep sleeping and dreaming about Naija. Bunch of dreamers. Keep on spreading rumours and false alarms!
Nigerians, please let us unite, fight corruption and become a stronger country the world and Africans indeed, will be jealous of!
I hate it when people expect outside help for our internal problems Nigeria and Nigerians are more than capable of solving her problems, inaction dosen't neccessarily mean incapability besides do ♈όϋ know what those outside help entails?
I like the last sentence of your post.
Inasmuch as I hate to admit it these Americans are right about our situation.

Nigerians especially thee authorities ought not rejoice at this instead hide their faces in shame. If the Dr. Where here in Nigeria am sure he wouldn't have been able to achieve this.
Many Nigerians in diaspora put their potentials to good use out there. Does it mean they don't have it while they were here? I think not.
I wonder where and how nigeria will be if that favourable environment out there were here in Nigeria.

Sisi_Kill: There's a man under the bridge that leads to Ikoyi or thereabout (don't ask the name, half the time I have a hard time remembering where I am when I am in Lagos) who does the same thing with charcoal and water....absolutely STUNNING pictures, so beautiful it makes you cry that so much creativity in one teeny tiny finger. Sometimes, it's hard to keep from cursing the wretched Nigerian Educational System which looks down on Arts.

In another country, that under the bridge guy will be celebrated. He'll have his own show in the top galleries and his paintings will be selling for thousands. In Nigeria, he has to contend with half-witted buyers who have very little appreciation for art and believe buy art is doing an artist a favor so they don't starve.

It's so so unfair. undecided
how did you encourage that man?
How many of his works did you buy? Am sure none
check yourself before you criticize others?
