This is the dopest battle of the year so far. Like I said earlier, both glads came with fire. I've read and studied the verses twice now and everything was almost a tie. But then, lemme break it down...

Opener - Max

Rhymes - Jigsawkillah (his rhymes were neat and nearly perfect. I'm not talking number of syllables here)

Flow - Max (the difference is not much, though)

Wordplay - Jigsawkillah (I like the way he fixed 'despair', race and 'day care' in his lines, but that arthropod (bug), beardin/beaheading and television parts didn't play well with the sound and setup. Elymax, your Samsung, breakfast, supper and derica lines are a bit forced. I'll take your gymnastics and Lagos wordies)

Metaphors - Tie (can't separate it)

Punchlines - Tie

Personal - Tie

Closer - Tie

Jig got a little edge over from the wordplay criterion. This battle is a close call, can go either way, though.

I read both verses thoroughly. Your setup was damn too long for a text battle. On audio, it could have given you the upper hand based on delivery. You get different perceptions when you read and when you listen. Bruce was curt but straight to the point, the ideal method for a text battle, and his punches worked out perfectly with his setup. To me, the difference is slim, but voters would pick Bruce's verse over yours for its enjoyability.
