8 University Students Burnt To Death

No fewer than 8 students of Madonna University on 18th February, 2023, have been reportedly burnt to ashes in a fire accident, while others were severely injured in a road accident that occurred in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State.

It was reported that the students were going home after the school management had given them the compulsory election holiday, when their motor caught fire, on their journey to Port Harcourt.

The report made available stated that 8 of the students died instantaneously. Ten other students were rescued and had been taken to the Alex Ekwueme Teaching Hospital in Ebonyi State to receive maximum medical attention.

As at the moment of reporting the news story, the cause of the motor fire incident is still a mystery. But there have been a series of investigations in order to unravel the sudden outrage of the fire outbreak.

The management of the institution is yet to react to the tragedy. But a lot of people have expressed their sympathy for the deceased families, saying it is a great tragedy for the country as a whole.

China is a real and a potent threat to the USA. China now has WMD of all types and its military is now modernized and still going through rapid changes of modernization.

Go and read what happened during the Korean War of 1950 to 1953 when American forces came face to face with the Chinese PLA. Then China had no WMD and their military was still relatively rag tag but they managed to fight the US military to stalemate on the Korean peninsular.

The greatest mistake anyone can make is to under estimate your enemy, especially one like China that has a massive military backed by technology together with thousands of years of proven battle tactics.

I strongly believe that the USA and China should not be adversaries but rather wary friends who understand and respect each other.

But maybe I am living in a fools paradise.

All US top military assets are located underground not above ground

What you normally see above ground are mountains and forests etc all heavily guarded

Any asset that has to do with communication or tracking cannot be placed underground. Sattelites, radars and their signals cannot be hidden underground.

If you notice you will see that I am talking specifically about telemetry signals and not about pictures or videos that the Ballon might take.

It was a risky and dumb move. It actually flew over or in very close proximity to very sensitive installations and could have gathered very important telemetry data and sent them back to China. No country wants its enemies, or even allies to have access to its sensitive telemetry data. Any way, the people that made the decision knows better, I just hope they do not regret this decision in the future.

Go and find out how the baloon entered usa airspace, it entered from the ocean over large areas of International Waters before even getting into usa territorial waters and then flying over usa hinterland. So tell me, what was the almighty NORAD/USA NAVY/Airforce doing before it actually crossed into the hinterland from the sea?

You are the one who is ignorant on boundaries and military issues. American spokesmen who have been interviewed by journalist have little to say about why they could not do anything BEFORE it actually entered its territorial waters. I believe there is something they are not telling us. The balloon flew over places where there were no humans for hundreds of miles. A USA government spokesman was asked why they did not bring it down over uninhabited territory and he had no answer.

USA should have detected it long before it enters their territory and appropriate actions should have been taken. Inaction on this issue shows a weakness in their defence. Next time it won't be a harmless balloon that will enter, it might be something much more sinister.

Biden doesn’t have absolute power and like a good leader, he followed the advice given by intelligence and military leaders. There are reasons why it was shot down when it was.

He has absolute power to make such decisions. He could make his decisions based on the advice of his military advisors, most of whom have opposing views. Ultimate decision lies with the president.

I'll wait for U.S to retrieve the baloon and satellite attached to it and analyse to know if it was a spy satellite.

Flying physically over a geographical area is important because you can get important and sensitive telemetry signals that is impossible to get from a distance. That's why you see spy planes constantly foray in and out of their enemies airspace in order to get these important signals.

I belive USA should have shot down thus balloon long before it entered the mainland USA. My conclusion is that Biden is not a decisive leader. He is weak. Though I still prefer him a little bit than Donald.
